Good News for Android users, Verizon will be offering carrier billing for the purchase of Google Play content, be it games, apps, music, or whatever you want from the store. The announcement came in the form of a tweet stating that the feature will be rolling-out in the up coming weeks.

Verizon is actually the last major U.S. carrier to enable carrier billing for its customers who wish to buy stuff from Google Play without using a credit card. AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile have been offering the feature for months, allowing their users to add charges for apps, games, or media straight to their monthly bill.

As the feature will go live in just a few weeks, it won't be long until Verizon gives us all the specifics.
