The iPhone SE 2020 was launched in April as the first affordable Apple smartphone since the iPhone 8. But the rumors suggest that Apple is working on another affordable smartphone this year - named as iPhone SE plus. You can watch the Apple event on Apple TV or the official YouTube channel. This shouldn't come as surprise if the event doesn't showcase this phone. As the event is only a few hours away, we can see what the rumors have stored for us. Rumors suggest that the phone is still in the process and consumers may not be able to hold hands on it till the half of 2021. The phone inherited its hardware from the iPhone 8, including its 4.7-inch LCD at 1334 x 750 resolution.

The device can pull off the depth in the image using software algorithms making photography with the iPhone an amazing experience. While the iPhone SE 2020 has the leading A13 bionic processing chip, its older camera technology keeps it from capturing the night mode photos taken on the new flagships. The phone has the same thick top and bottom bezels as the older models which are too much according to new designs. The iPhone 8 plus uses a 2,691mAh battery that was certainly larger than the iPhone 8. But that is almost a 3-year-old smartphone. We can expect a better battery with a higher storage capacity with 18w fast charging.

Another leak is about a 3.5mm jack which is not necessarily true but we can hope to see it as it has the same physical dimensions as iPhone 8. One of the major differences between the iPhone 8 and 8 plus was the extra rear camera lens, which was responsible for creating stereoscopic images that could be combined to create a more depth and shadow effect in the images. This enables the first portrait mode photos. Rumors suggest that the iPhone SE plus will have multiple rear cameras to produce more visually attractive images using two or more lenses. Although we haven't heard much about its price, we can guess $399 for the starting price, which is lower than the latest official price of the iPhone 8 before it was discontinued.
