It's almost the end of the first quarter of 2013 but it feels like the bell of this year's ultimate smartphone battle has yet to be rung. On one corner, we have the HTC One which was announced last February. Indeed, the HTC One made a grand entrance with features like a new "ultrapixel" camera technology, a high grade aluminum body, 1.7 GHz quad core processor, and 4.7 inch 1080p screen display. With these features, The HTC One definitely deserves the spotlight.
On the other hand, we have Samsung Galaxy S IV stealing the spotlight. This device will officially be launched in Times Square on March 14th, a few more days to go from now. Leaks of the technical specifications of this device have been out on the internet for quite some time now. The features include a new PHOLED display screen, an eye tracking software, and a dual quad core processor which is essentially eight cores all in all.
Both devices are worthy to be pitted against each other. But the question is will the S IV, the current Android flagship of Samsung, perform and reach the expectations laid out before it or will HTC One, the underdog, deliver a more powerful punch strong enough to take the round once more?
