A developer preview of the Ubuntu mobile OS has been introduced and some Android phones may actually be used to try the new mobile operating system. However, before doing so, be forewarned that installing it on your Android phone will wipeout all of your data so it is better to perform a back-up before experimenting on this open source system. Some of the devices that it supports are the Nexus 4, 7 and 10 as well as the Galaxy Nexus.

It is also important to note that since the OS is new, it is not without flaws and it is expected that it will not function as optimally as well-established mobile operating systems in the market. Ubuntu Touch will entice open-source enthusiasts and some already report that it is quick and is better than what they had thought. Again, remember to back-up if you want to try to experience it.

Market Helper is a tool for Android that helps users to be able to change/fake their rooted devices to any other devices. It can make your Nexus 7 become Samsung Galaxy S3 in a few seconds. No reboot is required.

Why do I need to use this?

To download and install incompatible apps from Android Market / Google Play Market on your devices. For example, if you want to install Viber on your Nexus 7, switch it to Samsung Galaxy S3 and you'll can. Or if you change your DPI value, you'll find this app very useful.

Words of Caution from the Developer:

*** USE AT YOUR OWN RISK *** I'll not take responsibility for anything happen to you or your account

*** THIS APP IS FOR ROOTED DEVICES ONLY ***

Facebook Home is now available to download on Google Play. Facebook's Android launcher is currently only available to US users and is supported by only a select number of devices, including the HTC One X, HTC One X+, Samsung Galaxy S III, and Samsung Galaxy Note II.

Facebook Home is the mobile experience that puts your friends at the heart of your phone. From the moment you turn it on, you see a steady stream of friends' posts and photos on your home screen. Upfront notifications and quick access to your essentials mean you'll never miss a moment. And when you download Facebook Messenger, you can keep chatting with friends when you're using other apps.

What's in this version:

• Glance at your phone for the latest photos and posts from your friends
• With chat heads and Facebook Messenger, you can keep chatting when you're using other apps
• See news as it happens with bigger, bolder notifications
• Get right to Facebook, Instagram and other essentials

Facebook Home has created a buzz in the internet world and many people have tried the leaked download on their phones. However, many complained that app access and switching are significantly slowed down by the controversial launcher.

On the other hand, if you are one of the more adventurous and would try everything to see if it's worth giving a chance to, you can already download and install it to verify these claims. Most Android phones that run on version 4.0 and above can install this launcher.

Also, you need to update your Facebook apps prior to activating the APK, but you can also get patched Facebook apps versions, if you have hardware issues.

The Company has not yet released any official statement regarding the Facebook Home launcher and interestingly, many people are trying it out but half are more likely to rate it low because they either don't like the interface or they don't like "too much Facebook" on their devices.
