The Music Hub, a relatively unnoticed app from Samsung, hasn't seen the kind of reach it needs with only 7 countries offering it to customers, on an even smaller number of available handhelds. TJ Kang, Senior VP of Media Services explained that the service will be expanding its borders soon, telling The Next Web that Samsung plans to inject themselves into more phones in 2013. Although it is dwarfed by the behemoth apps like iTunes and Google Play, Samsung still has a solid blueprint laid out for the next 5 years and hasn't given up on getting their toes wet when it comes to selling the owners of their handsets licensed and copyrighted music at a reasonable cost over the air.

Samsung seems to be targeting a specific market with the first medical hub that it has opened in its hometown. It appears that the Galaxy Note 10.1 will come with specific hardware and applications that medical students and professionals will be able to use.

An anatomy app will be available and the S-Pen will actually be used to highlight specific areas, which will allow students and professors to use it in school and in work. This can actually be a conduit for some medical books to reach a good number of medical health professionals in the industry.

It is quite expensive because it will retail in South Korea for around $720 and early birds will even get free accessories to use with their devices.
