Samsung Electronics rolls out 5-inch large screen entry-level smartphone Galaxy Grand via three major domestic carriers. Beefing up its large screen smartphone lineup with this latest release of Galaxy Grand, Samsung Electronics has further consolidated the market trend favoring bigger screens. Galaxy Grand boasts premium performance despite reasonable price.


Samsung Galaxy Grand runs on Google Android OS Jelly Bean 4.1 and 1.4GHz Quad Core Processor featuring 8 megapixel camera, NFC, USB 3.0, Bluetooth 4.0, and others.

Verizon is set to considerably update their Galaxy Camera and will apparently have more features such as the S Memo, Smart Modes, Help App and a view finder. The device will surely be popular among bloggers, professional photographers, hobbyists and even reporters who like high-powered Wi-Fi cameras for correspondence. This 16MP camera runs on a quad-core chipset on Android 4.1, upgradable to the Jelly Bean version 4.1.2.


It is available for $550 on Verizon and they also have a more flexible payment plan for those who do not want to pay that much in a single transaction.


The update will bring about new Smart Modes for various atmospheric conditions and will bring the total modes to 19. Furthermore, using an application, you can also use your other devices (even iPhone) to view your photos, which is very convenient.
