Google Ears is a Shazam or SoundHound-like service, which analyzes the music coming from your surroundings and tells you the artist and name of the song, as well as some other info about it. Among other things, it also let's you buy the song quickly, if it's available on the Google Play Store.

How to Install Google Ears ?

 

 

• Download Google Ears (APK) from link below.

• Once you've downloaded the Google Ears apk, you need to copy it over to your device's internal storage, in case you didn't download it with your phone.

• Check that you have the allowed the installation of apps from "unknown sources". This option is usually in Settings -> Applications, or Settings -> Security.

• Install the application by navigating to its location using the file explorer and launching the .apk file.

• Put the "Google Sound Search widget" on your homescreen, play a song, and let Google Ear hear it (internet connection required).

Google released the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with some New security features, on of these security features is "App Encryption" which automatically encrypts paid applications APK for a specific device ID
to ensures an app downloaded on ones device can only be used on that particular device. This was created to combat the rampant piracy that has been seen on the Android platform.

Unfortunately, while the idea is excellent but the execution is not, as several developers and users of paid apps have found out. The problem exists with the way the encrypted applications are downloaded and installed. So, Google decided to disable this feature for now.

After we reported that Samsung Galaxy S III is getting the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Update in September. Today, PCAdvisor confirmed our info and added that the Galaxy Note is also getting the Jelly Bean Update.

According to these reports, Samsung Galaxy Note will get Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Update before the End of the year, which suggest a Q4 Rolling-out. The update will include all Galaxy Note variants (N7000, I717... etc) for all carriers.

 

The Update Change-log is not yet available, but according to our sources it will pack Android version 4.1.1 (JB) and some minor UI changes on Samsung's TouchWiz.
