If you are an owners of the Galaxy Nexus in these first days of its release complete with the first iteration of Ice Cream Sandwich, you will notice that you do not have Adobe Flash Player installed, and You do NOT have access to download it on the Android Market, Google has just confirmed with us that this is normal and that Flash support will only come once Adobe makes the call to update the mobile version for Android 4.0. You currently will not have the ability to load either a new version or one of the older versions of Flash Player for Ice Cream Sandwich until Adobe makes the call to update their app to be compatible with this newest version of Android.

Google had the following to say:

"Flash hasn't been released for ICS yet so as far as we know, Adobe will support Flash for ICS."

It would appear that aside from those here in the United States that dropped a mint on an internationally shipped Galaxy Nexus and those of you living in the UK where they are already in stores, its just the publishers who were amongst the lucky to review the device and none other than Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak who now have Google-Samsung Galaxy Nexus in hand.

Today, just two days after the UK launch of the Ice Cream Sandwich device, Woz was invited to have a Galaxy Nexus bestowed upon him along with a lovely Android 4.0 t-shirt. And there was much rejoicing.

ICS 4.0

Several Google employees have some lovely photos up on Google+, the first being the portrait orientation photo where you can see the Ice Cream Sandwich shirt the clearest over Wozniak arm and the Donut and Android in the background.

Galaxy Nexus

As you will see on the video BELOW!, the Face Unlock feature was easily fooled using a photograph of the user. Not just any photograph but a photograph on a Galaxy Note glossy display taken using its camera. While this points out to the extreme sensitivity of the FaceUnlock feature its also whats causing the problem here. This tells us that unless Google fixes this feature in the final build of Ice Cream Sandwich, unlocking the phone with this feature by an unauthorized user will be only slightly more difficult than swiping on the default lock screen.

Ever since Google announced the new Face Unlock feature in Ice Cream Sandwich, people have been concerned about whether it can be fooled using just a photograph of the user instead of the actual face. One of Google's employees himself commented on this saying "Nope" and to give them some credit. Well, it seems he was wrong.
