Pinterest used to be available only for iOS users, but that appears ready to change next week at Google I/O. There is a Sandbox section of the Google I/O app, Pinterest is listed as an Android related exhibitor for Google's 2-day expo next week and the listing says that Pinterest is now available for Android-which it isn't, for Now! But it certainly all seems that Google will announce the virtual pinboard launch in the Google Play Store next week.

Google Siri Rival

Google I/O 2012 conference is just a few hours, WSJ confirms that the new Android 4.1 JellyBean will feature a "voice-activated assistant, similar to Apple's Siri", which we may have heard about as the Majel project.

Google is also reported to give some good news for developers regarding G+ and Wallet, allowing them to build their own apps on top of its social networking and mobile payment services.

Nexus Q

Google Announced the Nexus Q, Home Media device to stream your music and videos to all your home devices. The pricing is $299 for the Nexus Q and the companion triad speaker option is for $399.

Nexus Q

Nexus Q streams your favorite entertainment directly from the cloud to your living room. Just use the Google Play and YouTube apps on your Android phone or tablet to surf an ocean of music, TV, movies and music, and Nexus Q will play it all on the biggest speakers and screen in the house. There are no downloads, no syncing, no running out of space. Just the stuff you love at home and out loud.

Nexus Q

It appears that the Nexus Q might be some sort of AirPlay connection device from Android smartphones and tablets to their televisions. This would be sort of like the Apple TV + iPad/iPhone/iPod touch integrated approach.
