So far, thin has been the keyword for this year CES. We have seen the world thinnest tablet and ultrabook, and now Huawei has revealed an Android smarpthone that claims to be the world slimmest.

Both new Huawei (P1 and P1 S) smartphones have 4.3" Super AMOLED display resolutions of qHD (540 x 960),with Gorilla Glass on top. The Ascend P1 and Ascend P1 S are powered by the same TI OMAP 4460 chipset with a dual-core ARM Cortex A9 1.5 GHz processor and a PowerVR SGX540 graphics chip and run the latest and greatest Android 4.0 ICS.

On the back there are 8 MP sharpshooters with Backside illuminated sensors for better low-light performance, dual-LED flashes, HDR effects and 1080p video capture. The duo also packs 1.3 MP front-facing cameras with 720p video capabilities.

Google Your World


Google aims to make search results more personal with the new Your World add-ons, which displays individual search results, depending on your likes and the likes of those in your circles.

Google introduced personal results, profiles in search and also people and pages. Personal Results puts emphasis on stuff that has been shared with you or the ones around you on Google+. So for instance if you have ever wanted to search Google for pictures you have shared via Google+ you can now see them in your results.

Video enthusiasts feeling left out of all the CES hubbub can finally feel like part of the party with SanDisk new 128GB Extreme SDXC UHS-I card.


Sporting a blazingly fast Ultra High Speed (UHS) Class 1 rating, SanDisk claims the 128GB behemoth and its 64GB counterpart can achieve read and write speeds of up to 45MB/s.


Both cards are available worldwide now for 199.99 USD and 399.99 USD respectively.

The world largest videogame controller



The world largest video game controller, 30 times the size of a standard joypad, was unveiled today as one of the wackier winners in the new Guinness World Records Gamer Edition.

The fully working device, which is an oversized replica of the pads on Nintendo iconic NES console, was on display at Liverpool St Station, London. If you wanted to use it like a standard handheld pad, you would need to be 51m (167ft) tall the same height as London landmark Nelson Column.
