Last May, Samsung Denmark announced that the Galaxy Note 2 (N7100) is planned on getting the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, However, the company didn't put a timeframe or ETA (Estimated time of arrival) for the update and it has reached the "In-development" stage about 3 months ago.

After receiving some reports we reached out for more info regarding the update and... Sadly, we got a confirmation today that the official Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note 2 has been Canceled, the decision was made after due to the device has failed to pass the final testing stage that performed before the final release.

Samsung always includes its popular TouchWiz UI on top of every new Android release to all its devices, running both "Lollipop + Touchwiz UI" will cause performance issues and lag which will affect the user experience on daily usage.

This is not the first time that Samsung canceled an update for a flagship device, same thing happened to the Galaxy S3, S4 mini, Ace 4, Tab Active, K zoom and tab 3.

In other hands, SamsungDenmark and SamsungMobileUK confirmed the news on their official twitter accounts too, admiting that there won't be any Lollipop updates for the Galaxy Note 2 at all.

Few Months ago, we reported before that HTC has confirmed that it will be moving its latest flagships devices to Android Marshmallow via an update.

Now, We got HTC final devices list that will get official Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. The official list includes many of the One family flagships along with some of the latest Desire family devices. We also has an ETA (Estimated Time for Arrival) for each update, Here's the list.

All the updates are currently "In-Development" stages. Only the devices on the list above will get the Marshmallow 6.0 update with Sense 7.0 UI and lots of new features, update will be rolling-out Over-the-air based on your region/carrier.

Android Google+ App has just got a major update to version 6.5.0 with the New "G+" Logo, icons and update User Interface . The new version also packs the usual bug fixes and performance improvements. Google has just officially released Google Play Music App version 6.0 for Android. The new version packs a free ad-supported Radio service which is available for all United States users only.

The update also brings performance improvements in app's animation which results in a more smoother UI Animations, along with various bug fixes and stability improvements. No major changes in the Play Music App functionality or User Interface in this release.

We have reported before that Samsung Galaxy S5 mini has been confirmed to get Android Lollipop update. Today, the first official Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini duos (SM-G800H) is rolling-out. The update is available Over-the-air (OTA) and via KIES in Russia.
