Google is Preparing a New web interface for its popular Email service, Gmail. A leaked screenshots shows that Google is testing a Major Design Overhaul for Gmail, these screenshots published on Geek.com with many new features.
The new features are similar to the updates reportedly in the works for Gmail's mobile app. A new "pin" feature would let you drag and highlight an email at the top of your inbox a function that would replace the existing "star" feature.
A major change also comes to the menu layout on the left, which looks strikingly similar to the look Google has rolled out for YouTube's menu. In addition to filtering email groups such as social, promotions, forums and updates, Gmail adds tabs for travel, purchases and finances. There is also a collapsible Hangouts feature on the righthand side, so you can easily connect with other users.
We might see this New Gmail UI by next month and may be sooner.
Google Now on Android has always kept track of your activity to one extent or another. It will even incorporate previously search items into the cards. Google Now will also automatically measure how long your commute to and from work or school will be.
Now, using location data, Google Now will also let you know when items you have searched for in the past are available from nearby retailers or service providers.
Google uses the example of someone who searches for hiking boots, but has not actually gone to the store to pick some up. The next time that person is out shopping somewhere that happens to be near a store that sells the boots being searched, Google Now will throw out a card to let you know.
The Motorola Moto X was released about 8 Months ago only, but Motorola is already preparing to launch its successor. The Motorola Moto X +1 .We currently don't have any expected specs or launch date but the device is confirmed to be "Coming Soon" according to @evleaks tweet.
The New name is catchy, similar to the OnePlus One device name. The Moto X +1 logo has been leaked even before the phone itself (Photo above). Motorola is in the process of being divested by Google and acquired by Lenovo, so we can expect some major changes in the Moto X +1 but it will still be the same device that deliver high-performance with stable hardware at a not-so-expensive price.
