LG G3 LTE-A

 

Today, LG unveiled its most powerful Android smartphone ever, the LG G3 LTE-A for its domestic Korean customers. It will go on sale in all across Korea on July,25th. Following the steps of Samsung, who also released the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A in the Korean market with higher specs than the international variant.

The LG G3 LTE-A Cat 6 (aka LG G3 Prime) builds on the international G3 hardware but improves with a faster chipset, it packs a Snapdragon 805 along with a 3 GB RAM and the Adreno 420 GPU, which makes it the most powerful Android device LG has ever released to date.

 

The LG G3 Cat 6 will also have 225 Mbps downlink capabilities in South Korea thanks to its Qualcomm Gobi 9x35 category 6 LTE-A modem.

The LG G3 flagship only just arrived in the US and it already has $100 cut off its on-contract price. The phone is available on AT&T, Verizon and Sprint, the three of which offer it at $200.

 

Best Buy and Amazon, however, have dropped the upfront price to $100. Note that this is for the version with 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage. All three carriers have the Metallic Black version, AT&T and Verizon also have Silk White while Sprint offers Shine Gold.

Yesterday, LG announced the LG G3 Beat with 5" IPS HD display, Snapdragon 400 chipset and an 8MP camera with laser-assisted auto-focus. The LG G3 Beat utilizes the same design language as the original G3 and offers an identical software package of Android KitKat and Optimus UX.

 

According to the official LG blog on Germany, LG G3 Beat will cost €349 when it becomes available in the upcoming weeks. Also, you should know LG G3 Beat will be called LG G3 S in all European markets and the CIS region. Naturally, the dual SIM flavors of the LG G3 Beat will be sold as LG G3 Beat dual in Asia and LG G3 S Dual in Europe and the CIS countries.

Today, LG has officially announced the LG G3 Beat its new mid-range variant of its original flagship smartphone, the G3. The G3 Beat carries the same design language as that of the G3, but comes in a compact package.

LG G3 Beat sports a 5-inch display with HD (1280 x 720) resolution. This results for a pixel density of 294 pixels per inch with a screen-to-body ratio of 74.1%, which the company claims to be the highest in the mid-tier segment.

Under the hood lies a Snapdragon 400 chipset with a quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 processor and Adreno 305 GPU. LG G3 Beat comes with 1GB of RAM and has 8GB of internal memory. The device also packs a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

LG G3 Beat has an 8 megapixel sensor at the back. Next to it is the LED flash, while on the left of the sensor is the special laser that measures the distance and speeds up autofocus. Connectivity options of the G3 Beat include Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS with Glonass and NFC.

A leaked user manual of the upcoming younger brother of the LG G3, Called the LG G3 mini smartphone confirms that the device will be officially known as LG G3 S with smaller screen and body.

The user manual of the G3 S that has been leaked, carries the model number D772V and is said to be the Vodafone version. Apart from confirming the naming scheme, the manual doesn't reveal much about the internal hardware of the smartphone.

LG G3 S is rumored to sport a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The device is said to be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 chipset and is expected to feature 2GB of RAM, 8 megapixel rear camera and 16GB of inbuilt memory. The software on the G3 S will remain largely similar to that on the G3, so you can expect the G3 mini to pack all the goodies from the company's flagship smartphone.
