A German internet magazine just revealed that Motorola will be launching its first flagship of the year 2021 by the first quarter of next year. The device has no official name so far, but it's codenamed "Nio" while it's in the development phase. The newspaper also shared the key specs of the Motorola Nio. The report claimed that the phone features a 90Hz refresh rate.

Mishaal Rahmaan of XDA developer tweeted that Moto Nio may support an unusual refresh rate of 105Hz. According to him, the company is testing a default peak refresh rate of 105Hz of Moto Nio. Before the ROG Phone 3 was officially released, it was tested for a 160Hz refresh rate mode on the device, however, the final device came up with support for a 144Hz refresh rate. He has speculated that the company might be only testing a higher refresh rate as ASUS did on the ROG phone 3. The final device may come with the usual 90Hz refresh rate.

The Moto Nio produces a full HD+ resolution of 1080x2520 pixels. While we don't know the size of the device yet, it is revealed that it has a punch-hole cutout for its dual front-facing camera sensors. The phone features a primary camera of 16-megapixel and an 8-megapixel as a secondary camera sensor. The device features a triple camera system on the rear side of the panel. It features a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone is run on Android 11 OS out of the box and powered by a 5,000mAh battery. The device is expected to come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There could be a second model with 12GB of RAM and 25GB of internal storage. The model number of the handset is xT2125.

Motorola announced Moto G9 Play a few months ago and now the company is ready to release a follow-up device. The renders of the expected upcoming phone are going to arrive as the Moto G10 Play shows that company is changing the front design despite the phone being a successor of G9 play while leaving the rear's design as it is.

The renders are shared by a reputable leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer from OnLeaks. He uploaded the renders along with some details on Voice. He specifically mentioned that he didn't confirm the official name of the device but its model number is XT-2117, so we take the phone being Moto G10 play as an assumption.

The device has a punch hole at the top-left corner of the display, unlike the Moto G9 play that has a water drop notch. The screen is a flat 6.5-inch display panel with moderate bezels around it. There is a squircle camera design on the rear side of the phone that is centered and features three camera sensors and an LED flash sitting below the setup is the Motorola logo.

The company has placed the fingerprint scanner on the rear side of the phone. Motorola has decided to move the scanner to the side on this new device where it is imposed under a recessed power button. There is a button above the power button to control the volume functionality, a USB-C port, and a power grille at the bottom with an audio jack at the top. The phone has been certified by the FCC and a TÜV Rheinland certification says that it is powered by a 4850mAh battery. According to various reports, the phone should arrive in a few weeks. If it is indeed the Moto G10 play, we have a successor of G9 in just two months.

The Moto G9 by Motorola has launched in India officially with the affordable smartphone likely to reach other countries in the near future. Thanks to competition in the mobile industry, we are not short of budget-friendly smartphones but the Moto G9 is yet another addition to the list that includes less than $200 price tag. Moto G9 is the direct descent of the Moto G8 that was launched earlier this year, with the price you might expect from the series. The phone doesn't claim to be heavy-duty and has some modest features.

The Moto G9 comes with a large 6.5-inch HD+ LCD screen with 1600 x 720 resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Inside the Moto G9 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. The phone comes with an expandable storage option via a microSD card. The phone features a massive 5,000mAh battery that also supports fast charging. With the USB-C fast charger that comes along with the device, you can charge up to 20W charge speed. The device has a notable fingerprint scanner on the rear side, support NFC that is needed for mobile payments, and a water repellent coating. This isn't the same as an IP certification by a stretch but it can save your phone from a few splashes here and there.

The phone comes with three cameras at the back including a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. At the front, the phone features a dewdrop notch that is capable of taking 8-megapixel shots. The Moto G9 is set to go on sale in India starting from August 31, 2020. The phone will be available for around Rs. 11,499 or around $155. It will be available in two colors - sapphire blue and forest green. Given the date, we can expect the phone to be available in other global markets over the coming weeks.

The Moto G series has finally a 5G model. This is one of the most popular budget series around, that now caters to people who want a 5G connectivity for their phone. Meet the latest Moto G 5G plus. It's not just a phone for 5G but also a heavy specs step up in a range of other areas. The first phone in the G series was introduced only 9 months ago, and barely a month since the last one. The phone also gets the biggest screen of any other device in the Moto G. It comes with a 6.7-inches diagonally, and it's also got a 21:9 aspect ratio. Plus, this is the first Moto G phone to have a fingerprint sensor mounted on the side.

So, the Moto G 5G plus is the biggest step for a Moto G phone in a while. As per news the company's Motorola Edge just came out and the next Moto flagship Razr 2020 is likely coming soon. The phone was initially launched in the UK and Europe, but not confirmed for the other regions so far. The biggest change is the vertical camera bump and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The placement doesn't feel comfortable; especially if you have small hands.

The Moto G 5G (weird name, right) has a massive six cameras in total, which is a huge number for a budget-category phone. On the rear of the handset there's a 48MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth-sensing camera, then on the front there's a 16MP main and another 8MP ultra-wide snapper for solo and group selfies respectively. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 765G chipset, which is surprisingly advanced. The phone comes in either 4GB or 6GB of RAM models. The phone is 5G-compatible too as we mentioned earlier. The Moto G 5G plus operates on Android 10, with a Google-made UI, and not a custom overlay as most manufacturers use. If budget is your main concern, and you can wait, this could be your phone but there are certainly better 5G phones out there with a better camera.

Since Motorola has re-surfaced, it is flooding the smartphone industry with mobile phones of almost similar options. Almost a month ago, the company launched the OneFusion plus, and now we have another model in the mid-range phone. The Motorola one function isn't anything special when it comes to the hardware specs. It is a more economical version of its predecessor Motorola One fusion plus.

The major difference between the One Fusion and the earlier One Fusion plus, the latter features a 16-MP front-facing camera that rises to the occasion. The One Fusion's unspecified front camera, in contrast, hides insides a tiny waterdrop notch on the phone's massive 6.5-inch display screen. Despite its size, however, that Max Visions display HD+ resolution.

The Motorola One Fusion is powered by an old Snapdragon 710 with 4GB of RAM. You get 64GB as internal storage but that can be extended if you want to. There is also a traditional fingerprint scanner for security on the rear side, though we don't know anything about the headphone jack yet. The Motorola One Fusion's selling point is its battery and cameras.

The phone features a 5,000mAh battery that is advertised to last up to 48-hours, depending on how you use it. The One Fusion sports a 6.5-inch Max Vision HD+ display with a waterdrop notch, unlike the notch-less One Fusion+ screen. Optics-wise, it boasts a 48MP main camera with Quad Pixel technology. This is joined by an ultra-wide-angle lens with a 118-degree field of view, a Macro Vision camera, and a depth sensor.

There isn't any news on the price yet, but the One Fusion is expected to get a lower price than the 300 euro for the plus variant. The phone is available now in various countries of Latin America and will be launched in Saudi Arabia and the UAE in the next month.
