Nokia Lmuia 930 Specifications
Nokia sense of humor this year is way above expectation, The company's blog announces a New PureView Smartphone running Windows Phone 8. The Nokia 3310 PureView, yes, you heard it right...Nokia 3310... that old chubby phone from the 90's.
Nokia 3310 PureView packs a 41 MP PureView camera module we know from the Lumia 1020, which will ensure oodles of photographic fun with the reinvented 3310. Nokia managed to stuff a dual-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, and a microSD slot in dimensions close to the original's casing, gracing the new 3310 with a 3-inch "Clear Diamond" display that sports the generous 768 x 1280 pixels. Of course it's an April Fools' joke!
The upcoming Nokia Lumia 630 leaks with some demo videos shows it's new OS, Windows Phone 8.1 from Microsoft. The upcoming Windows Phone 8.1 update will bear the name "Cherry Pink Blossom" for current Nokia phones.
The first video shows a short tour of the Lumia 630 hardware, but focuses mostly on the software. The new Action Center is one of the major new features and has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth toggles, a camera shortcut and a brightness toggle.
The second video demos how wallpapers work on WP8.1. We've known for a while that they are coming the tiles become windows with the wallpaper showing through them. It's interesting to see it in action though as there's a parallax effect when scrolling. You can watch both video Below.
A reprot from JD.com shows that Nokia's first Android smartphone, Nokia X, received more than 1 Million Pre-orders in China which is a pretty good number considering its has been recently announced. However, LiveSide.net points out that these 1 million pre-orders were made on JD.com, a hugely popular Chinese online store that apparently allows registered customers to pre-order a product without committing to purchase it.
Which means users have been lured into hitting the Nokia X pre-order button by a contest that lets one of them win the new Android-based smartphone for free. So it seems that these are more like pre-registrations rather than pre-orders. Of course, since the Nokia X is really cheap, costs around $97 (599 Chinese Yuan).
