Oppo has announced the launch of three new smartphones of the Reno 4 series. Initially, the phones will be released only for the western market. Oppo has already launched Reno 4 and Reno 4 pro in China and now they are coming to Europe. However, there is another handset Oppo Reno 4 Z which is a new addition to the series and seems more like an iteration model of an existing Oppo smartphone.

The Oppo Reno 4 series is coming to European market, including the UK in the second week of October. We are not sure about the Oppo's release in the US this year. The upper tier of the series Oppo Reno 4 pro would be the most expensive smartphone in the series while the Reno 4 Z will be the cheapest one. These devices share almost the same design. You can see a camera bump in the top-left corner of the rear side of the camera. Each device features a punch-hole or pill-shaped selfie slot on the front to eliminate the need for a top bezel while giving the user a large screen real estate. The phone will be available in white, black, or blue colors.

 

The Reno 4 Z has a 6.57-inch LCD Full HD+ screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Meanwhile the regular Reno 4 features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a full HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The Reno 4 pro has a 6.5-inch AMOLED full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Reno 4 and Reno 4 pro comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, while the Z model has its scanner built into the side of the phone instead of in the display.

 

The Oppo Reno 4 features a 48MP primary camera lens, with 12MP ultra-wide, and 13MP telephoto camera lens. On the front side of the phone, there is a 32MP selfie camera. The Reno 4 Z and Pro both are powered by 4,000mAh batteries, while the Oppo Reno 4 has a slightly bigger 4,020mAh battery. Both the higher-tier phones come with 65W fast charging while the Reno 4 Z is limited to 18W charging.

 

The Oppo Reno 4 and Pro are run on a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, which is the same processor we have seen in the Google Pixel 5. The Reno 4 Z features a MediaTek Dimensity chipset. So far we know that all of the three phones support 5G network connectivity. Reno 4 Z and Reno 4 features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the Pro model features 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Google just released the stable version of the latest Android 11 last week, and with the release, it rolled out the operating system on its own Pixel devices without any delay. A few hours later a few smartphone manufacturers kicked off their beta programs and user interfaces build on Android 1. Now, Oppo is revealing its new ColorOS 11 in full, and it might be the biggest roll out you see on Oppo devices.

 

With ColorOS 11, Oppo has shifted away from the heavy skins you usually have to experience on smartphones from China. The whole user experience is a little bit closer to the traditional Android experience. It has its usual navigation but using most of Android 11's core features including message bubbles and notification mechanisms.

 

On top of Android 11, Oppo has moved one step ahead and introduced its features. With ColorOS 11 you can adjust the shape of icons, create your wallpapers or designs, and much more. Oppo users can even select three different tones while in dark mode and have that change throughout 24-hours.

 

Google introduced a screenshot feature with Android 11. Oppo users can take a screenshot just by holding and dragging three fingers on the display. With the latest update, you can also translate the text in that screenshot with just one click. This feature is powered by Google Lens, and so far, people seem to like this feature and find it useful as well. If you need translated text for any purpose, this can come quite handy.

OPPO unveiled the A53 smartphone last week in Indonesia and soon after its release, the company teased the phone's release in other countries including India. The phone has now officially been released in India under a budget-friendly category. The phone costs only Rs. 12,990 and offers some high-end features and specs like 90Hz display, Snapdragon 460 processor, 16-megapixel triple cameras on the rear side. The device comes with a massive battery with fast-charging support.

 


The OPPO A53 has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD punch-hole display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 720 x 1600 pixels HD+ resolution. The phone also supports a high display fresh rate up to 90Hz. The phone is using the ColorOS 7.2 user interface based on the latest Android 10 out of the box. It is the first phone to be launched in India with the latest Snapdragon 460 chipset. The phone also has a shared SIM slot to add a microSD card slot. The SoC is coupled with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128 GB of storage. The handset comes with features like dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C, and 3.5mm audio jack.

 


The OPPO A53 has a rectangle-shaped camera module at the rear side of the device that houses 3 camera lens, a 16-megapixel being the primary camera lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front side of the phone uses a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture. The phone is available in two options in India, such as 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage, and 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. These models are priced at Rs. 12,990 and Rs. 15,490 respectively. You can purchase the phone from Flipkart after its available online. The device comes in two color variants - electric black and fancy blue.

Oppo F17 Pro is on its way in India and it is according to the company teased through a GIF on Twitter today. This company has called the phone to be the sleekest phone in 2020 with a thickness of 7.48mm. Alongside the announcement made on the micro-social media platform, the company set a news release highlighting the arrival of the F17 Pro in the country. The press release didn't mention any hardware or software features of the phone, though it mentioned that the phone would come with a 22-degree edge design. The news release said The ultra-sleek body of the Oppo F17 Pro ensures that it easily slides into the pocket or can be tucked into the bag with ease without causing any bulge.


Features Of Oppo F17 Pro

  • This phone is supporting dual-SIM. It features an AMOLED touch screen with 16 million colors, 1080 x 2340 pixels screen resolution. The device has an Android 10 operating system out of the box and is powered by Mali G72 GPU for graphic processing.
  • Oppo F17 Pro features a quad-camera system with a 48-megapixel camera lens, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
  • For selfie pictures, you get a 16-megapixel camera lens with f/2.0. The phone is powered by a non-removable li-polymer 4,500mAh battery and has support for Wi-Fi Direct and hotspot technologies. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the bottom of the screen.
  • The Amazon is also showing the Oppo F17 Pro from one side. Furthermore, the E-commerce site suggests the existence of the Oppo F17 alongside the F17 Pro as its microsite is title Oppo F17 series.
  • Oppo has not revealed the launch date of its new smartphone in the country yet. According to some reports, the phone might be launched in August.

A few days ago, Oppo launched a limited edition of its Oppo Reno 4 Pro smartphone in its home country China. The phone is touted as Oppo Reno 4 Pro Artist limited edition. Now, the smartphone is officially available in the market for the purchase. The phone is available for $622, which is rough converts to 4,299 yuan. The phone features 12GB RAM and a 256GB internal storage variant. The phone can be purchased through the company's official website. The internal specification of the phone is the same as Oppo Reno 4 Pro except for the design of the cover painted by James Jean, a Taiwanese-American artist known for its cover art for Marvel Comics and DC comics. For the Reno 4 Pro, he created a unique art depicting the summer carnival of dreams with a mystical creature logo.

 


The design is etched on the phone's rear AG glass with a SoleLuna logo at the center as it was the name of the project. The smartphone also features two dedicated themes to align with the design at back. The smartphone is available in silver color which isn't included in regular Oppo Reno 4 color options provided by the company earlier. To complement the artwork, the phone comes with themed earphones, case, and 65W super-fast charger.

 


Oppo Reno 4 Pro has a Super AMOLED 6.5-inch display with 1080 x 2400 pixels. The device comes with corning gorilla glass 5 protection. The phone is based on Android 10 and colors 7.3 on the top of the operating system. The Oppo Reno 4 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm SM7125 Snapdragon processor and Adreno 618 GPU. The phone comes with a quad-camera system at the rear side with 48-megapixel wide camera lens, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth lens. For selfie, you get a 32-megapixel camera lens. You can shoot 4K videos at 30fps or HD video up to 120 fps, which allows you to shot in slow-motion. The phone comes with a 4,000mAh battery and 65W fast charging that allows you to charge the phone up to 60 percent in just 15 minutes.
