Oppo has been in the smartphone industry for almost 10 years now. They have given us some of the most innovative and feature-rich phones in the market. Among the company's series of devices, the Find series has pushed many limits of creativity. It has some of the best flagship phones of the company as well. As in 2020, the company released a new OPPO Find X2 series this week.

OPPO released Find X in 2018 and joined the early pop-up cameras trend. But instead of giving only the pop-up mechanism to the front camera, the company also placed its dual rear camera system on this pop-up module. The smartphone had highly-advanced hardware to deliver really fast processing speed, and also replaced 3D face recognition technology with the fingerprint scanner. The Find X also brought Super VOOC flash charging technology, which eventually became the norm.

Now, it's time for Find X3 series, which is ready to set all-new benchmarks with its ground-breaking display quality and a powerhouse of loaded features giving a true flagship experience. Both the phones feature a 6.7-inch display and a whopping 120Hz refresh rate. With the ultra-fast Snapdragon 865 chipset and 5G network capability, the devices are well equipped to lead the charge into the future. The series has been ranked among smartphones offering the ‘Best Flagship Performance in April 2020' by AnTuTu.

The display made has already given its display panel A+ approval rating. The smartphone has also received eye comfort certification from TUV Rheinland as the phone cuts down the emission of harmful blue light to reduce to strain on your eyes. The phone has 65W super VOOC 2.0 technology that is equipped with ultra-fast charging. The standard model has 4,200mAh battery, whereas the pro model comes with a 4,260mAh battery.

Last year Oppo introduced a super-fast charging technology called superVOOC. Oppo Reno Ace, launched in October 2019, was the first phone to come with 65W superVOOC 2.00 fast charging support. This new fast charging technology can fully charge the Reno Ace smartphone in just 25 minutes and goes from zero to 100 percent. The 65W fast charging launched earlier was much higher than what the competition was offering. While Vivo and Xiamoi also claim to develop 120W fast charging technology, they haven't started to use it in the mass production just yet.

Rumors suggest that the company is working on the development of the next-generation of SuperVOOC that will have a power output rating of 80W. That would be an instant increase of 18.75% over SuperVOOC 2.0's 65W. On the Chinese social media website Weibo, a Chinese blogger named Really Assen revealed that OPPO is going to launch SuperVOOC 3.0. He said, that it's been a long time for half an hour (the time it takes to charge with the SuperVOOC 2.0), it's still not fast enough, you have to cut it in half.

SuperVOOC 2.0 charges at 10V and 6.5. With SuperVOOC 3.0 OPPO will go with a higher voltage similar to what we already saw on the 120W Xiaomi charger. So SuperVOOC 3.0 chargers should have a voltage output of 20V and current output of 4A to achieve a maximum power output of 80W. We are expecting the technology to be launched at the end of next year. We don't know the date yet, but its predecessor technology was launched in October, so we can take the info with a pinch of salt until more solid evidence surfaces.

reno4

Oppo just released two new smartphones in the Reno4 series in China. The Reno4 and Reno4 belong to upper mid-range smartphones with some premium features. The main selling point for the phone is its powerful camera, embedded AI software for the optimized images and its weight. Yes, it is one of the slimmest phones you have ever watched.

The Oppo Reno4 Pro has a curved AMOLED display at the front and a 3D curved design at the back of the phone for better handling. Both phones use a triple camera system at the rear side, but the pro model has a more powerful setup. The Oppo Reno4 features a 48MP f/1.7 primary camera that comes with an 8MP 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP black and white sensor. The Reno4 Pro has the same 48MP camera but with an Optical image stabilization feature for without shaky-ness in images. The second camera lens is 12MP 120-ultra-wide-angle f/2.3 shooter and a 13Mp f/2.4 telephoto shooter with 5x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom.

They both have a laser focus sensor. Both variants come with Oppo\'s ultra-clear low light algorithm, which was developed within the company for more than a year. The new algorithm creates many clear and colorful videos even in low-light situations. Both phones have Oppo\'s video anti-shake 3,0 technology when using the ultra-wide-angle sensor for the front camera as well.

The new Reno4 models add a live HDR video mode and 21:9 custom movie shooting mode with manual parameter adjustment options which the company claims offer a more professional shooting experience. This paired with OPPO\'s Sloop video editor which features classic movie filters and soundtracks, you can produce high-quality videos right from your Reno4 smartphone. Both phones support up to 4K 30fps and up to 720p 240fps slow-motion video shooting from its back cameras. The front cameras are also capable of 1080p 30fps videography.

The Reno4 comes with a dual punch-hole design to house the front camera that is 32Mp primary lens and a 2MP secondary lens. The pro model comes with one single 32MP front selfie shooter. Both models have a stabilization algorithm for front videos and AI smart beauty algorithm known as face repair that removes blemishes and scars to some extend. Both phones have Snapdragon 765G processor with Adreno 620GPU with liquid cooling to ensure that phones don\'t overheat with intensive tasks. Both phones come with 5G connectivity support. The Reno4 has just 8GB of RAM with 128GB and 256GB storage options, but the Reno4 Pro includes a top-end 12GB RAM and 256GB ROM variant too.

reno 3

If you are wondering how the Oppo Reno 3 Pro compares to the Oppo Reno 3, when both devices look very similar, keep reading this article.
On the outer side, both phones are the same. They have the same poly-carbonate plastic body that comes in the same colors, weighs almost the same, and features the same 20:9 aspect ratio display. There is a slightly better super AMOLED display on the pro variant if you look closely. However, this isn't a major difference. So, let's find out the other few key differences.

The Reno 3 pro uses a full dual SIM setup, whereas, the other uses a hybrid version. This means that on the Reno 3 pro, you can use 2 SIM cards along with memory cards. However, on the Reno 3, you can't use a memory card if you use 2 SIMs. Both have 128 GB internal storage so that shouldn't be a big deal for Reno 3.

Oppo Reno 3 pro has a silver film on all four sides of the edges. The camera bump is also noticeable but it is not large enough to annoy you whenever you keep it on the table. It is a lightweight device that can be used with one hand. The pro variant ships with earphones inside the box. The left side of the device contains the power button, while on the right side you can find volume rockers.

Reno 3 Pro uses two hole-punch front camera system with 44MP and 2MP lens, the Reno 3 uses only one camera lens (44MP) placed in the center of the notch. For the rear camera, the Reno 3 primary camera lens is of 48MP, whereas, Reno 3 pro uses a 64MP lens. Oppo Reno 3 pro camera creates a far better result than Reno 3 in a low light, close-range situation. Oppo Reno 3 pro comes with a slightly brighter screen, slightly more detailed selfies, and better low light camera performance.

series appreciation since its initial release in early 2019. The first devices in this lineup, the OPPO Reno and the Reno 10x Zoom. It featured unique and expressive design with a flush rear camera. It has a crazy pop-up swivel module that features both rear end and front-facing camera. This device doesn't require any kind of notch. This unique design continued to the Reno2 series, but discontinued the Reno3 and used more conventional-looking hole-punch display.

Oppo introduced a high refresh rate display (90Hz) and 65W super VOOC 2.0 charging with Oppo's first phone - Reno Ace. Now, the company is about to release the Reno Ace2. It was kind of announced from the official sources. The OPPO VP Brian Shen confirms that the company is indeed working on the OPPO Reno Ace2 on his Weibo account. Some leaks suggest that the phone has a single, hole-punch on the left side of the display. According to another rumor, the device will be capable to support 5G network connectivity. The phone features a circle rear camera mount something we have already seen in a few Chinese devices like the OnePlus 7T and Redmi K30 Pro. The leak images from TEENA shows a hole-punch camera that seems to particularly big one on the front side of the display.

The device is rumored to be powered by a 2.8GHz processor, likely the Snapdragon 865 and will be available in both 8GB and 12GB RAM variants. It will feature a 2400×1080, 20:9 AMOLED panel which measures at 6.5-inches diagonally. On the camera side, it will be sporting a 48MP main sensor with an additional 8MP + 2MP + 2MP sensors (it is not clear which sensors play which function), while the front-facing camera features a 16MP resolution. The device has a 1955mAh battery. The OPPO Reno Ace wasn't launched outside of China though, so it is still in doubt that the Reno Ace2 will.
