Recently, Realme released two smartphones as part of its budget series - C12 and C15. This smartphone aims to offer users with phones that can last long with a single charge, which they do. They also fill the widening pricing gap between the Realme's C-series and its number series. Realme's new C1x models, including the C11, however, overlap the pricing of C3 and Narzo somewhere. In this article, we will look at the Realme C15, but more importantly, explore Realme's budget series to see which phones are worth buying.

The Realme C15 is a budget-friendly smartphone from Realme, price starting at the Rs. 10,000. Just like the old Realme C12, the C15 isn't meant to replace any existing model but rather compliments these. The device is virtually the same as C12 in terms of design and specs. However, C15 comes with 18W fast charging that justifies its higher price as compared to C12 to some extent.

Another significant difference between c12 and C15 is the number of cameras. The Realme C12 has three cameras in total, whereas the Realme C15 has three cameras. You get the same 13-megapixel primary camera, but also get an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera lens, a monochrome, and a retro camera. The Realme C15 skips the dedicated macro camera, which is present on the Realme C12. The C15 also gets an 8-megapixel selfie camera instead of 5 megapixels.

The Realme C and Realme C2 are still listed on the company's official website, although you can't buy these easily. The Realme C2( Review) is more than a year old, but at Rs. 6,999 (2GB + 32GB), it's still not bad if you are just looking for a simple Andriod phone. However, the 3GB and 32GB variants available at Rs. 7,499 doesn't make much sense with the arrival of C11 that offers a bigger 5,000mAh battery and a new SoC. However, in our experience, the 2GB of RAM felt inadequate and lack performance in general. The Realme C12 has a bigger battery and a fingerprint scanner but has relatively weaker Helio C35 Soc. The top-end variant of the Realme C15 with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage at Rs. 10,999 seems like a difficult-to-sell device, as for extra Rs.1,00 you can get the Nazro 10, which is way better than C12 or C15.

Several reports suggest that new Realme 6 device may be launched alongside the Realme C11. Flipkart also listed some details on the device but later on the website took off the page.

Yesterday, Sheth announce about the new addition to the Realme 6 series on Twitter. He said, "Expanding this series soon with another powerful addition!". While the tweet didn't mention any specific model of the upcoming phone, it set off some ripples that Realme may be teasing the imminent launch of the Realme 6i in India. The same phone has already launched in Myanmar in March, but the model expected in India is also rumored to be the rebranded version of the Realm 6s, which was launched in Europe in May.

The specs listed on Flipkart's explore Realme 6i features. As mentioned above the phone is powered by the powerful processor MediaTek Helio G90T Soc, specially tuned for gaming on phones. The images placed on the web page show more details on the design aspects. The phone is going to have a hole-punch design on the front side with a quad-camera setup on the rear side. The phone is expected to be the rebranded version of the Realme 6s. realme fast charging

Realme was founded as a sub-brand of OPPO and after Oppo launched its super-fast charging technology, having the same technology for Realme makes sense. Just a day after OPPO announced it is super-fast wired charging technology and 65W AirVOOC wireless charging technology, Realme came up with is own 125W fast charging technology, called Realme 125W Ultra Dart fast charging. This didn't come up as a surprise as the company has already hinted about it a few weeks ago.

According to the company's claim, the technology is brand new and can charge a 4,000mAh battery up to 33 percent with wired charger in just 3 minutes. It is said that the company is using a three-way charging solution to increase speed. The three-way charge simultaneously pumps step-down voltage to maximize the charging power and also reduce the heat dissipation along the way. This three-way solution and the entire charging process has been optimizing to be used in smartphones, as these mobile phones are small devices and have their cooling requirements. This technology can result in an ultra-high conversion rate of 98 percent.

The new charging technology has a flip-chip structure that shortens the current path between the Type-C port and reduces the heat source. It also adopts an ultra-thin soaking plate to conduct the high-temperature efficiently. This helps to absorb and reduce the heat energy being produced during the charging process. As per the company, they have combined the thermal conductive gel and multi-layer graphite sheet, which lowers the temperate and keeps it under 40-degree Celsius.

To support this Realme 125W ultra dart fast charging technology, a dual Type-C charging cable is used. Also, this technology isn't limited to smartphones alone and can be used with other devices with high-power requirements such as notebooks. The technology is pretty much backward-compatible with Dart, Warp, VOOC, and SuperVOOC 2.0 charging technologies.
