Google has officially annouced the Android 6.0 Marshmallow, currently developer Preview 3 is available for download and the final version will be officially released by the End of Q3,2015. Samsung will start preparing its Marshmallow updates after releasing the Lollipop 5.1.1 updates which are currently Rolling-out for various of its devices with many improvements (Guest Mode, Improved UI, Bug fixes... etc).

By early next year, Samsung will start releasing its first Android 6.0 Marshmallow firmware with TouchWiz UI. The Korean giant is always looking to brings the best User Experience to all its users. We have the list of the confirmed devices that are planned to get official Samsung Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates.

List above has been updated on August,17th with two new devices confirmed to get the Andorid Marshmallow update.

After updating Poland, Samsung Galaxy A5 (SM-A500FU) Official Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update is Rolling-out on another region. The Update is Available Over-the-air and via KIES in France, and will reach even more regions during this month. Galaxy A3 has already got the same Lollipop update earlier this month.

The Galaxy A5 Lollipop update OTA package is about 1 GB in size and packs Android build 5.0.2 Lollipop, Updated TouchWiz UI with Material Design, Improved battery live, New lockscreen, New Notification panel, Updated system Apps, Better Network connection along with various bug fixes, performance enhancements and stability improvements. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 LTE and WiFi variants already got there Lollipop 5.0.2 update. Today, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 SM-T531 (3G) is getting its first Official update to Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. The update is Available Over-the-air (OTA) in Russia, it should start reaching other regions by the end of this month. Other Tab 4 variants (7.0 - 8.0) should get the same update should start also during this month.

The Update packs Android build 5.0.2, including a New TouchWiz UI for tablets with Material Design, New Notifications panels, New lock-screen, improved muti-tasking mode along with various bug fixes and performance improvements.

After updating all of its latest flagships, Samsung has started Rolling-out Official Android 5.0 Lollipop updates to mid-range devices, like Galaxy A3 , Galaxy A5 , Galaxy A7 and Galaxy Core Prime. Now, we got some good news for the Galaxy E series users.

We got confirmation that Samsung Galaxy E7 and Galaxy E5 Official Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update will start rolling-out by Late Q3,2015 (3rd quarter of the year). As always the update will roll-out in waves, so might see the E series Lollipop Firmware by August but it will take long time to start rolling-out on a wide scale to all regions/carriers.

Today, Official Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Duos (N9100) is rolling-out in China. The Update is Rolling-out Over-the-air (OTA) and using via KIES.

The update is about 750MB in size and includes a Material Design touch to the TouchWiz UI, faster performance, lockscreen notifications, improved battery life, and a few other Lollipop goodies.
