The list of the Samsung devices that won't be getting the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in the Gulf states is getting ridiculously long...

SamsungGulf just added a new device to that list, as it announced via its official twitter account that the Galaxy E7 won't be getting the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, which also means that the Galaxy E5 will not get the update too.

The Arabian firm didn't give any reason regarding this cancellation. However, this decision will only affect the users in the Gulf states. The Galaxy E7 and E5 may get updated in the other markets.

We have reported before that T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S6 got an official Android 5.1.1 OTA test release update with lots of improvements onboard.

Today, According to the Canadian carrier Roger's OS Upgrade schedule, Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge official Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update will be Available Next Month (June).

Samsung Galaxy A3 (SM-A300F) has already got an official update to Android 5.0.2 Lollipop few days ago in Russia but that was only a Test release.

Today, Samsung is rolling-out a New Lollipop 5.0.2 firmware build for the Galaxy A3 Russian variant (SER). The New Lollipop Firmware version is "A300FXXU1BOD9" and weights 838.73 MB in size which is freshly build as its build date is "29th,April 2015".

(OLD Firmware version was A300FXXU1BOD5 and weights about 852.88 MB which hints for a lighter update)

This is the final Lollipop release for the Galaxy A3 (SM-A300F) which contains various bug fixes, performance enhancements, stability improvements and better Network connection. Currently the Update has started rolling-out Over-the-air (OTA) and via KIES in Russia, Other regions will get the same firmware update in the upcoming weeks.

The Canadian Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 (LTE) is getting its official Android 5.0.2 Lollipop in the Virgin Network. The Update is about 1 GB in size available Over-the-air (OTA) and via KIES. Other Galaxy Tab S 10.5 LTE variants has already got the same update few days ago.

The firmware update brings latest Android build 5.0.2 and build number [T805WVLU1BOD6] with a build date [April 28, 2015] which indicates a very fresh build. SamsungUK announced via its official twitter account that its Engineers are working on micro-updates to the fix the bugs on the Lollipop updates for various devices (Smartphones / Tablets), the updates will probably be minor upgrades (from 5.0.1 to 5.0.2) or (from 5.0 to 5.0.1).
