Samsung continues on releasing its flagships Lollipop updates worldwide. Today, The Original Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500 users in India received their Official Android 5.0.1 Lollipop firmware update. The update is now Available Over-the-air (OTA) and via KIES.

This firmware update is carrying Android Build 5.0.1 and Firmware build I9500ODDHOC1] with all the Stability and Performance enhancements needed for a smooth lollipop experience. It also packs the bug fixes that was reported before by the users who got the initial update back in February.

Good News, Samsung is rolling-out the official Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900H, it's currently Available Over-the-air (OTA) and through KIES in India.

The update size is about 874.21 MB carrying build number G900HXXU1B0C3 and Android version 5.0 Lollipop, along with various Bug fixes and Performance enhancements.

Please note that the firmware above is not the Indian firmware that was release today, but it's still the same. You can use our Odin 3 tutorial to manually flash to your Galaxy S5 G900H.

Samsung Galaxy S4 (Value Edition) GT-I9515 official Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update has just just started Rolling-out today. The Original Galaxy S4 I9500 got the same update a while back, now it's the Value Edition turn.

The update is currently Available Over-the-air for all Galaxy S4 I9515 VE users in Poland, packing Android build 5.0.1 and new TouchWiz UI with Material Design, new notifications, new lock screen, Performance Enhancements and Bug fixes. The rest of the regions will get the same update in the next few weeks.

If you own a Samsung smartphone you probably can't wait for the Lollipop update to hit your device. Today we got some Hot News from our sources regarding the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Premium Galaxy A series, and the old-but-gold Galaxy Note 2.

Galaxy A series In-Development

Samsung is currently working on the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update for its premium mid-range Galaxy A series. The update is expected to Roll-out to the Galaxy A7, A5 and A3 during this Quarter (Q2,2015). It will pack the Lollipop and Material Design goodies that currently existed in the Galaxy S5 and Note 4 updates.

Galaxy Note 2 Lollipop Update

Earlier last month, Samsung's old flagship Galaxy Note 2 has been officially confirmed to get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. The update hasn't hit hit the Development status yet and will be coming later this year, So be patient and wait a little longer.

Samsung's Android 5.1 On-Hold

Samsung's latest Android build is 5.0.2 and it may start developing on the latest Android 5.1 or 5.1.1 build after Google fixes the memory leak issue which will affect all the Galaxy smartphones performance. Google promised to fix this issue ASAP.

The Tabs updates are coming... Samsung's latest AMOLED tablets line-up, Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Galaxy Tab S 10.5 are getting a new update very soon. Both slates launched with KitKat 4.4 out-of-the-box, currently Samsung is working on updating these two tablets to Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.

Samsung has already many of its device to Lollipop, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and 10.5 will be the first two tablets to get updated officially to Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. The update is currently under testing, it will bring an updated Material Design version of TouchWiz UI for tablets along with many new features and notification bar.

Samsung will release the Galaxy Tab S line-up Lollipop update by the End of April,2015. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Tab S 10.5 variants will get it earlier followed by the Tab 4 7.0 variant.
