Great News for all Galaxy S4 users... The long waited official Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update is Now Rolling-out to Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 (Black Edition) in the UK. The update packs all the bug fixes that was reported before to Samsung by the users.

Samsung is working fast. Today, Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus (SM-G901F) is getting its official Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update... this the first Samsung smartphone to get the Android build 5.0.2 in the S5 family so far.

The Update is currently Available over-the-air (OTA) and via Samsung KIES to the Nordic countries carrying build number G901FXXU1BOC4 and brings the latest Samsung Android build 5.0.2 with Various bug fixes and performance improvements including Hot fix for all the reported bugs by the S5 users before in the 5.0 build.

After putting the Lollipop update on Hold due to various bugs, Today, Samsung has started rolling-out the long-awaited official Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update for All unlocked Galaxy S4 (GT-I9506) in France, Czech Republic and Greece.

The Good News is, this update packs all the Bug Fixes that was reported by the users on the old update (battery drain, freezes, random reboot, system services force close, alarm and silent bugs... etc). It also brings an improved drop-down notification window, lock screen notifications, card-like task manager with all apps appearing in the same place, battery stats that show battery time left, Material Design touch, stability improvements and performance enhancements.

The Update is currently Available Over-the-air (OTA) and weights 729.59MB, carries version number 7.18.531.2 and Android Build 5.0.1 Lollipop.

Samsung promised to fix all the Bugs that was on its Lollipop update, and they did it very fast too. Other Regions will get the same update starting this month. As for the Galaxy S5 users, they will receive similar update with all the bug fixes they expected.

After Samsung announced that both Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S4 Android 5.0 Lollipop update will be put "On-Hold" to fix some major Bugs and issues in the update. AT&T tweeted on it's official twitter regarding the Galaxy S5 Lollipop update.

AT&T said that they are "rigorously testing" the Galaxy S5 Lollipop update, trying to find Bugs and issues to report back to Samsung in order to fix them before the official release to grantee a "smooth transition" from KitKat to Lollipop for all S5 users.

According to our sources, It will take 1-2 weeks at least to fix the bugs reported on the initial Samsung Lollipop 5.0 firmware, test it and then push the final update Over-the-air (OTA) to the end users.

Many Samsung users are waiting for their Lollipop OTA Update, few users already updated. Samsung Galaxy S4 (SM-I950x) and Galaxy S5 (SM-G900x) users who already received the Android 5.0 Lollipop update is reporting that they are facing bugs and issues with the firmware.

Today, Samsung Norway told its complaining users that the Lollipop update for both Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5 is currently "On-Hold" in order to fix the reported bugs. The company also said that they are working full time to fix those bugs and start rolling-out a new one that includes all the fixes that will be available to all users very soon.

The reported bugs includes random freezes, Contacts app force close by itself, default Phone app "com.android.phone" crashes, alarm problems and also some performance issues. Here's what Samsung Norway said:
