Samsung has now confirmed what the rumors were speculating for months now; the Galaxy Note 7 is coming back. On their official blog, Samsung mentioned that the millions (4.3 million) of Note 7 smartphones recalled during the infamous call back will be recycled in an environmentally friendly way. The procedure will involve three of the following methods.

1. Refurbished variants of the Note 7 smartphones will be reintroduced in certain regions as rental phones.

2. Components and parts from the rest of the units will be removed and reused in new smartphones.

3. The metal and the other non-technical components will be removed and reused as well in a way that doesn't impact the environment.

In case you are wondering if the refurbished Note 7 is coming to your country, let us inform you that Samsung has mentioned it to be only a possibility if the local authorities permit it and demand for the phone is high enough in the region. Also, it has been confirmed that Samsung won't be releasing these units in the US. This answers the question asked by Greenpeace during the MWC in February, concerning what the company's plans were regarding the discarded Note 7 handsets.

We admit that these specs, along with all the leaked images and videos do not leave much for the imagination, but then again, they are only rumors. We will know what's what in just a day's time though. Samsung is still sure to have a few surprises in store for us; We only hope that they are good ones!

We have brand new leaked images of the Galaxy S8+ for you today, which clearly highlight how tall the S8+ is with its 6.2-inch display set at a new 18:9 aspect ratio. We also get to see the back, the front and even the camera viewfinder. It even has an image which shows the S8+ in comparison to the LG V20.

Since we have already seen the bezel less display and the rest of the smartphone hardware quite a few times before, the most important details revealed via this leak are the software details. The camera viewfinder is the highlight here as it shows two distinctive changes apart from the regular viewfinder lay out. We can see a teddy bear icon on the bottom right and the "eye" at the lower left side. While the eye could have something to do with light detection and the AI assistant Bixby, the purpose of the bear icon is somewhat puzzling! Nevertheless, we will know everything in just two more days on March 29, at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Another detail which the photos might be indicating is that the power button can be double tapped to activate the camera.

We are just two days away from the unveiling of the Galaxy S8 on March 29, but that doesn't mean we cannot speculate about the Galaxy Note 8! Today's rumor is more of an intelligent guess, built upon a new confirmed report. This report is about one of Samsung's latest patents. The South Korean company has apparently filed for patenting a dual camera module which is slimmer than any other dual camera module that's available in the market right now. Along with the slimness, the dual cameras will hopefully allow for better low-light photography as well.

It should be noted that this isn't Samsung's first patent regarding a dual camera setup. This report certainly increases the chances of a dual camera setup making its way onto the upcoming Galaxy Note 8. The description of the patent states the technology in the following manner; "Camera module-including multi-lens and electronic device having the same."

Interestingly enough, the description states that the module will be enabled with 3D capabilities, or in other words, Samsung's future smartphones might be capable of taking Three-dimensional photos!

The Galaxy S8 is going to be officially revealed at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event in just three more days but that hasn't yet stopped the leaks from coming in though! On that note, let's check out the two leaks we have for you today.

Take a look at the renders above which seem to be legit leaks by V3. From what we can see near the edges, this seems to be the Blue Coral variant, although it might be called something else this year. Other color options revealed so far include Black Sky, Orchid Grey, Arctic Silver, Violet and Gold.

If you have had enough of pictures, we also have a video for you where someone seemingly tries his best to freeze the S8 by typing random keys on the keyboard. Considering that the S8 and the S8+ will be powered by the world's most powerful processors and GPUs, I would say that was an effort in futility! Nevertheless, it gives us a look at a variant of the S8 or S8+ that has a white front. Take a look yourself and let us know what you think in the comments.
