We already know that Samsung is planning to get into the automotive industry and today, another report right out of China is claiming that Samsung has taken another big step in that direction. According to this report, Audi will use Samsung's own Exynos processors in their cars, starting from the next year. If the report turns out to be true then this will be the first time that Samsung would be supplying its chips to a car manufacturer, thus marking the next step for Samsung in the industry.

Although this is the next step, we knew it was coming as Samsung did make a deal with Audi back in November to supply the manufacturer with semiconductor memory solutions (20nm DRAM) for the computers that some of their cars have built inside them. It was also in November, that Samsung had acquired Harman Internationals, a company famous for making car audio equipments. The chances are pretty high that Samsung, in collaboration with other suppliers and manufacturers, might be planning to launch multiple self-driving cars in the very near future.

In spite of Samsung's best attempts, it seems like keeping the Galaxy S8 a secret isn't something that's possible. It was just two days ago that we came across quite a few alleged leaked renders of the S8 on Twitter and now we have an actual live image. This image was published on Weibo and was brought to us by SamMobile.

What we see here is an image of a Samsung phone in gold, which doesn't have a Home button and sports a very high screen to body ratio. Although the image ticks some of the right boxes set forward so far by the rumor mill, the soft navigation keys are suspiciously missing. Also, the bezel at the top seems noticeably bigger than the one below. We are not saying that it HAS to be a fake, but the chances are pretty high! Besides, if this is the S8, it doesn't look very impressive now does it?

Even if it is a fake, Samsung will have a hard time keeping everything under a lid, especially since the launch date has now been reportedly shifted to April; which gives leaksters even more time to try and bring unrevealed secrets about the Galaxy S8 to the public.

Samsung had earlier made it apparent that they are taking security issues very seriously this time around with the Galaxy S8 and everything about it should be a secret until the company is ready to unveil it to the public. However, according to a recent leak on Twitter by VenyaGeskin1, it seems that those efforts of Samsung are not working out in the way that they expected them to! Check out these leaked renders of the Galaxy S8 (allegedly) and tell us if you think this is indeed the upcoming flagship from Samsung.

While we cannot see the rumoured dual rear camera setup over here, the S8 in these renders does sport the rumoured bezel-less edge-to-edge curved design without the iconic Samsung Home button in front. Strangely, the fingerprint scanner has not been shifted to the back, which could mean that the S8 would be using Synaptic's under-the-glass optic fingerprint scanner after all. Is this really the Galaxy S8? Or is it just an attempt to conceptualize the phone based on what we know so far? If this is the real deal, then chances are that what we are seeing is the regular Galaxy S8, rather than the Galaxy S8 Plus with the dual camera setup and a 6-inch+ screen.

We are already into 2017 and the Galaxy S8 may not seem as far away from being launched as it seemed to be just a month ago. Today, a new report/leak has come into attention, courtesy of an unlikely source; allaboutwindowsphone.com. What we can see via the leaked image is a software running on a PC, called Samsung Desktop Experience. There are three visible tabs on the right, marked as,

1. Multi-Tasking
2. External Monitor
3. Keyboard & Mouse

As some of you have already figured out, the entire setup looks very similar to Windows Continuum Workspace experience, reserved for Windows smartphones only. As the Continuum program allows a Windows smartphone user to experience PC-like functionality, we are guessing that the Samsung Desktop Experience will also bring something similar to the Galaxy S8.

The only issue might be that the S8 will run on Android, which is a completely different OS from Windows altogether. Nevertheless, I am sure that Samsung will hire the right developers to bridge the gap in-between the two operating systems in order to deliver a smooth experience to the users. The ability to properly use a keyboard and a mouse could lead to windowed apps, true multitasking and better productivity on the Galaxy S8 in certain situations. Are you excited for his one?
