It seems Samsung is not able to cover its tracks when it comes to the yet to be released successor of the Galaxy A7. This time the smartphone showed up in the AnTuTu benchmark report and it seems the hardware setup is completely different from what was expected. Although it was rumoured that the smartphone would be powered by a Snapdragon 615 SoC, this report says the device is using a different chipset called the Exynos 7580.

While the rest of the hardware specifications are not changed, it is safe to assume that there will be two variants of A7 and they will come with two different type chipsets. The Samsung Galaxy A7 spotted in AnTuTu can be recognised by the same model number that was spotted at Bluetooth SIG yesterday. But interesting fact is that instead of a Snapdragon 615, this terminal was using the same chipset as the Samsung Galaxy J7 and S5 Neo - the Exynos 7580.

The chipset was built using 28nm technology and it has a total of 8 Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.6 GHz. The CPU operates in conjunction with a Mali-T720 MP2 graphics chip and 3 GB of RAM. According to the source, the performance of Exynos 7580 is also at par with the Snapdragon 615 and MediaTek M6752, generating an overall score of 37,563 points in AnTuTu's benchmark report.

Samsung doesn't want to take any chance when it comes to inserting the Galaxy Note 5's pen the right way. After the device was launched, many users started reporting that if the S Pen will be inserted in a wrong way, it would actually damage the internal S Pen sensor and without causing more damage it'll be practically impossible to remove the pen. Although the Korean company responded quickly, the damage was already done.

Roughly after three months, Samsung has started shipping the device with a brand new image and warning showing how to insert the pen in the specified slot. At first the warning label was shown via a YouTube video uploaded by "J. Williams". The video showcased T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Gold Platinum, and SamMobile made it surface on the internet.

From this video, it is quite evident that the warning label says "Be sure to insert your S pen with the nib pointed inward. Inserting the S pen the wrong way can cause it to become stuck and can damage the pen and your phone". Also there are two pairs of images showing the correct and incorrect way of inserting the stylus.

Interesting thing to note here is that in case of previous Note variants if someone would try to insert the pen in a wrong way, that person would experience an obstruction and it'll make the user realise that something is wrong. Sadly that's not the case with Note 5.

As per a report from Korea, the tech giant's CEOs' are witnessing drastic drop in salaries in 2015, something the report says is because of the struggling sales figure of the company in this year. Referring to the regulatory filing done by Samsung, the report disclosed that among the three CEOs, Kwon Oh-hyun (also the vice chairman) was paid highest salary this year - 3.82 billion Korean Won ($3.25 million), in comparison to 6.25 billion Won he received last year. Yoo Boo-keun - who handles the company's consumer electronics business division pocketed 2.34 billion Won, in comparison to last year's 3.61 billion Won. Mobile business headman Shin Jong-kyun experienced the largest cut, receiving just 2.28 billion Won this year dropped from 12.03 billion Won in 2014.

The drastic drop in Salary is due to the decreased incentives, which are generally associated with the company's performance. This report has come out amid speculations that Samsung is planning to cut cost by laying-off workers in managerial level.

Nevertheless Samsung has put a lot of effort to produce smartphones like Galaxy S6, which has a good build quality. Probably this is one of the main reasons behind the sales boost (although it didn't make any considerable difference).

AT&T has finally announced on Monday that they will provide service for the huge 18.4 inch Galaxy View tab from 20th November. For a short period of time this device would be made available by Ma-Bell for $99.99. This tablet has support for DirectTV and customers who will sign up for AT&T satellite package along with two year wireless service, will get the View for $100. Existing customers who wish to avail this discount on View, will need to purchase new line on a smartphone and activate AT&T Next service agreement for two years. Those who don't want to go for the DirectTV offer, can purchase the device for $0 and for next 20 months they will have to pay $30 per month. Apart from this the device can also be bought for $499 with a service agreement for two years.

This year Samsung decided to go with the company's Exynos 7420 processor for both Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge instead of Snapdragon 810. As per the rumors floating around the internet, both Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge might use Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor. Amid speculations, now the online community got hold of the model numbers of both of the devices.

According to this list, the Galaxy S7 (SM-G930) and S7 edge (SM-G935) will be released with either the Exynos or Snapdragon processor. This choice will be dependent on the market condition and wireless carriers. The devices featuring Snapdragon 820 are listed for China (SM-G9300, SM-G9350), Verizon (SM-G930V, SM-G935V), Sprint (SM-G930P, SM-G935P) and US Cellular (SM-G930R4, SM-G935R4). Please note that most probably these models will be used for CDMA carriers.

On the contrary the international unlocked models like T-Mobile (SM-G930T, SM-G935T), AT&T (SM-G930A, SM-G935A), Canada (SM-G930W8, SM-G935W8) and Korean variants (SM-G930 S/K/L, SM-G935 S/K/L) will be featuring Exynos 8 Octa 8890.
