An upcoming Redmi smartphone got several certifications recently, and it is rumored to be the Redmi Note 10 pro. A few reports suggest that this phone will come up with 5G network support but so far we don't have any official confirmation or any concrete evidence for 5G network capability.

Unless we are sure of having a 5G support, it is safe to assume that the phone will be 4G. A recent leak by the Xiaomiui Telegram online magazine state that the phone is codenamed, sweet_pro. This suggests that the phone might be a variant of an existing model.Just last year, the Redmi release two smartphones as being a tweaked version of Mi 10T-lite, having Samsung's 108MP camera sensor. This camera sensor is a slightly bigger sensor with an f/1.75 aperture. However, the older variants of the flagship smartphones got the HM1 camera sensors.

Redmi Note 10 regular model was surfaced on a TENNA listing back in November and now the pro model bearing the model number M2101K6G has surfaced in an FCC document. The listing detail on the site confirms that the phone will support GSM, LTE, and WCDMA networks along with dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth BR/EDR and LE connectivity as well as NFC and FM receivers.

Other features of the camera include Geo-tagging, Phase detection, touch focus, HDR, Panorama, Video (4K@30fps, 1080p@30fps). The front camera is reported to be 32MP. Phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processing chip. The device will feature AMOLED Capacitive Touchscreen with16M Colors and 6.7-inch large screen with multi touch capability. The device has 128/256GB Built-in storage that can be further extended using the external storage. The phone is expected to come up with (Li-Po Non removable), 4800 mAh and 33W fast charging.

Xiaomi Malaysia has recently initiated a contest on its official Facebook page that will likely choose ten lucky users among the contestants. The price will be a unit of a new smartphone for each lucky winner. But the company hasn't revealed the smartphone they are going to award. It only shows that the phone will be from a Redmi series and to hide its identity, the company has chosen to use a fake name and called it Redmi XX. The teaser poster along with the competition on the page shows a render of the device that shows the rear side of the phone.

The image shows that the device will feature a quad-camera system stacked vertically in a rectangular housing at the top left corner of the rear panel. The phone is in a dark orange color that looks really unique and youthful. The device looks like the Redmi Note 9 4G that was released in China and is similar to the Poco M3. The tech enthusiasts and leakers suggest that this is Redmi 9T which was certified in Thailand recently.

The Redmi 9T is the upcoming smartphone by the same company. The phone in rumors is expected to feature a full HD+ display of 6.33-inches. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be further extended with an external slot. The device will be powered by a large 6.000mAh battery. The camera is rumored to be a quad-camera system with a 48MP primary camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Some rumors suggest that the phone will also have a fourth sensor which is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera lens. As appeared from the picture, the design is similar to the Redmi Note 9 4G. There is no word yet about the release date of the phone but the contest will end on the 7th of January 2021. So, we can expect the announcement of the phone by the first week of January.

Xiaomi emulates Apple's example, will discard the charger in the Mi 11

At the point when Apple reported and affirmed that its new iPhones would deliver without a charger, many ridiculed the organization. This incorporated Apple's rivals, for example, Samsung and Xiaomi, who accepted the open door to ridicule the organization for excluding the frill.

Incidentally, this joke was fleeting on the grounds that as per Xiaomi's CEO, Lei Jun, he has affirmed that the organization's forthcoming Mi 11 arrangement won't deliver with a charger by the same token. As per the CEO, he refers to ecological reasons concerning why the phone won't accompany a charger, which is pretty much a similar explanation Apple gave.

For those catching wind of this unexpectedly, Apple asserted that excluding the charger permitted the organization to make more modest bundling for the iPhone. This thusly permitted the organization to deliver more units out immediately, hence diminishing the quantity of outings and lessening fossil fuel byproducts. It likewise implies that less plastic will be utilized to make these chargers, which is extraordinary for the climate.

Many have communicated distrust over these cases, particularly since it implies that it would basically drive a few clients to buy the chargers independently, netting organizations like Apple more cash simultaneously. In any case, it appears to be that this will be another work on moving advances, so we surmise we'll simply need to become accustomed to it.

This came as no surprise. After the USA banned the number 1 Chinese smartphone brand Huawei, someone had to take its place. Xiaomi did well this year and sold more than 6 million smartphones, whereas Huawei managed to ship only 5.5 million phones globally. Both companies faced a decline in the sales chart but this is normal as most of the companies faced a downfall due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Last year, Huawei shipped more than 12.2 million smartphones and Xiaomi was successful with 10 million in January of 2020. Huawei sales dropped almost 70% in February of 2020, compared to February 2019. Xiaomi's shipments dropped only around 30%. In total, 62 million phones were shipped to the world in February 202 - a decline of 39%, compared to 2019. During February Samsung shipped the most at 18.2 million devices, followed by Apple's 10 million iPhones.

It seems that after the US strike on Huawei, the company is losing outside of China because its phones don't support Google apps and services. Other phone manufacturers have taken this opportunity to their benefits and start rolling out premium-like smartphones with competitive prices under their names. Meanwhile, the COVID-19 outbreak hit Chinese companies very hard in February. However, China is already recovering, while western markets are slowly marking its progress. Samsung has also lost some percentage of market share but this the least amount and reaches 13% only.

According to a new report from Bloomberg, Apple has experienced an 18.7% increase in its iPhone shipment in China. The report suggests that the company has sold an estimated 3.18 million units of iPhone in China. Previously, the company saw a 6% growth in China for Sep and Oct periods. China is Apple's second-biggest market after the US and despite everything going on between the US and China, the company is still making good progress. According to the statistics, almost 389 million smartphones were shipped in China for 2019 out of which only 13 million were 5G-enabled.

Last week, Redmi launched Redmi Note 9 series in China that includes three phones - Redmi Note 9 4G, Redmi Note 9 5G, and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. And now we have some rumors claiming the variant of this smartphone is expected to be launched in India the mid of December. According to reports, the company will rebrand the Redmi Note 9 as Redmi 9 Power. So far, Redmi hasn't said anything related to the leak. Redmi 9 Power will be the next smartphone in the ever-popular Redmi 9 series. This phone series made its debut in March earlier this year. As per Mukul Sharma, this device will be launched on December 15, if Xiaomi doesn't change its plans. Apart from this phone, the company is also expected to launch its first QLED Mi TV in the country. We also don't have any official launch date for Tv as well. We may see both items in the same event which might be 100% virtual like many other smartphone and tech events held this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Coming back to the story, the upcoming Redmi 9 Power is codenamed as lime for India. It will bear the model number M2010J19SI. You can shoot 8MP selfies with the front camera and HD videos at 30fps.
