galaxy note 20

We are expecting Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series to be launched in just two months from - somewhere in August. Even though the launch event might not be as tradition due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There are many leaks about its specs and it is safe to assume that we may have to some lots of similarities between Note 20 and S20 series.

As the launch is only a few months away, we are seeing more and more rumors about the specifications of the device. Famous tipster IceUniverse has made a tweet about some details of the Galaxy Note 20+ camera recently. He disclosed that the flagship smartphone with 5G connectivity support will have a 108MP camera sensor, while the ToF will be replaced by a laser focus sensor, assisting the main camera.

According to his tweet, the Galaxy Note 20+ will feature a 12MP ISOCELL Fast 2L3 ultrawide-angle lens which is 1/2.55" in size and comes with PDAF. There will also be a 3MP Samsung Slim 3M5 periscope telephoto lens with a size of 1/3.4″ but official numbers say it is 1/3". The camera will also feature support for 50X zoom instead of the 100X zoom which the HM1 is capable of.

Other rumors suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20+ will have a single central punch-hole design. The device is rumored to be powered by Exynos 992 chipset, based on the 5nm process. Early reports suggest that Samsung will make 120Hz available for the series. An early benchmark of Galaxy Note 20+ 5G was spotted at Geekbench that real 8GB of RAM. There might be more options for RAM as well. Samsung might reintroduce the microSD card slot, giving Galaxy Note 20 owners more flexibility in terms of memory expansion up to 1TB. The phone will have Android 10 out of the box, but it could be the first one to use One UI 2.5. The estimated price of Note 20 is around $1,400 mark.

galaxy note 20 ultra

The earlier rumors about Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra were related to its highly upgraded camera that could have zoomed up to 100x but the latest rumors suggest otherwise. As per leaks, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 ultra will adopt a significant upgrade in camera specification. Recently, a reputable leaker Ice Universe tweeted about its potential camera specs. This person has made many accurate claims about Samsung phones in the past, so there is no reason to doubt this piece of information.

The first tweet suggested that the Galaxy Note 20 ultra will have 50x zoom, rather than the 100x. The phone is also said to get a laser depth sensor to take good pictures without any need for high magnification on a phone. Another leak from the same Twitter account showcases phone cases for Galaxy Note 20 ultra. The camera on the rear side seems a lot larger in the ultra model of the phone, presumably to fit in the periscope lens and laser sensor. Another rumor suggests that the standard version of the phone will use the non-periscope 3x zoom telephoto camera found on the S20 and S20 plus.

The volume and power buttons on the phone will be placed on the right side. The regular phone is expected to have a flat display whereas some rumors suggest a curved display on the Note 20 Ultra. Both the Note 20 models will have 120Hz displays, 5G compatibility, a Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 990 chipset (depending on the country you buy it in), and a redesigned S Pen stylus with some new features. There are some big differences rumored, however. The Note 20 Ultra will get a larger display at 6.87 inches compared to the Note the '20s 6.42 inches. The Ultra will also receive 12GB RAM instead of 8GB, a larger battery, and likely more storage space too.
