Recently, new render images of the OnePlus 8T surfaced on the internet, thanks to OnLeaks and Pricebaba. Such render images not only give us some idea on the device but also shows some of its specs-related information such as design, notch, display style, etc.

According to the images, the upcoming OnePlus 8T looks very similar to the OnePlus existing devices from this year, but the rear side looks more different. It seems they were inspired by the great design of the Samsung Galaxy S20 launched recently. The devices use a rectangle bump in the top-left corner with camera lenses. This phone is reported to have at least four cameras with 48MP being the primary camera, a 16MP ultra-wide camera lens, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP portrait camera lens. On the front side, the phone is using a 32MP camera, which is bigger than the camera sensors on the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro.

The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 processor, though, there was some news about having the plus variant of the chip for this device. So, we are not sure about the processing chip yet. What's agreed, however, is that there will be at least two models with 8GB RAM/128GB storage and 12GB RAM/256GB internal storage.

The device will have a big 6.5-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will have a big 4500mAh battery to keep it alive all day long. The battery comes with a fast-charging speed up to 65W. The phone runs on the latest Android 11 out of the box. The phone has a USB-C port on its button, a power button to start/shut down the phone, an alert slider on the right, and a plus volume rocker on the left side.

macdroid

Do you wish to transfer files from Android to Mac or Mac to Android?

Don't worry. We have the perfect solution that offers smooth file transfer from either of these OS and so much more.

This may not come as a surprise to you but Mac OS doesn't work well with Android devices. If you use an iPhone or iPad, transferring files between your device and computer come with no hassle. To work with Android, you may need some kind of third-party cloud storage, but it is kind of slow. You upload files on the cloud-first and then download files from the cloud. It takes double effort as well.

Many people want a faster and easier solution rather than uploading and download the same files. That's where MacDroid comes in handy that acts as a bridge to ensure Android file transfer for Mac operating system.

Connect Android to Mac via USB

With MacDroid you don't need any special cable or complicated cloud solution. It will work seamlessly whenever you connect your Android device to your Mac computer via USB.

Once the MacDroid is installed, open it. Go to Devices in its main menu and connect your Android device to Mac.

As soon as the device is a plugin, choose ADB (Recommended) or MTP connection mode and follow all steps to allow your computer access to your Android data. After the connection is complete, find the device in the Finder folder and transfer data between the device and the Mac.

Software requirements

MacDroid operates as a bridge between Android and Mac. It offers the transferring of images, videos, music, and folders between Mac and Android. To use MacDroid you need at least macOS 10.10 or later. There is no strict requirement for Android or MTP devices.

Features

I have already described one feature of MacDroid that allows file transfer between Android and Mac by treating your Android device as an external hard drive for Mac device. But this isn't the only feature MacDroid has to offer.

You can also mount both internal and external storage on Android device. This allows you to read out the MicroSD card without getting it out of your device. You can also edit files on your Android device, without getting it to any other device. This can save you from lots of hassle of getting files onto and from the cloud storage or similar service to edit these files.

How to use MacDroid?

You don't have to install anything on your Android device. Just download and run MacDroid on your Mac and you are set to go. When you launch MacDroid for the first time, it will show you a simple interface with all its features and a simple walkthrough process to set up the Macdriod. To work with the software you need to enable USB debugging mode on your Android device. You can do so from the Developer menu. If your Android device doesn't have the developer menu in the settings app, you can enable it by tapping the build number in the software information or About the phone section of the settings app.

Once you have enabled USB debugging, it will prompt you to plug your device in. You will see an interface that would ask you if you want to use USB Debugging, so select, "Always for this Computer". Macdroid takes it from this step and make the phone available in the Finder.

Why you should buy the pro version?

MacDroid comes with 7-days free trial. The pro version is available at just $1.67 per month. With the trial version, you can only transfer files from your Android device to Mac and not from the Mac to Android. The pro version allows you to transfer files between Android and Mac in both directions.

You can also edit files in place right on your Android device with the pro version. In addition to this extra feature, you also get regular updates and patches.

So what are you thinking for? Download MacDroid Now.

how-to-write-a-research-paper

For college and university students – writing a research paper is an inevitable assignment. You may feel the pressure or stress in regards to completing the paper on time or writing it if you have no experience of writing similar papers in the past. In this article, you will learn how to improve your research paper writing skills and reduce anxiety and stress the next time when you write the assignment.

A research paper is an original essay about your ideas regarding a specific topic and response to information from various literary sources. Let’s briefly look at the writing skills essential to writing an excellent research paper.

Writing Skills

The skills of writing discussed here are meant to provide students with the foundation in both the process and mechanics of writing. These skills can be quickly learned progressively by learners hence building upon their fluency and confidence. The students can always improve their grammar and mechanic skills gradually as they write.

Practical writing skills are not only essential for education but also for the workplace outside the classroom environment. The following skills are crucial for writing an excellent research paper.

Time Management

You have to organize your schedule correctly to ensure that every part of the research writing, such as topic selection, research, and writing, is done appropriately. The deadline for your work does not matter if it’s a month later or due in a week, ensure all parts are allocated sufficient time. Also, ensure you complete early enough to get time for proofreading and any mechanical errors.

Good Research Skills

Since you are writing a research paper, you have to support your ideas and analyses using reputable sources. You need to find trustworthy sources such as material from the library and journal articles. These sources should be referenced appropriately according to the required style guide (e.g., MLA, APA, or Harvard). It would be best if you familiarized yourself with this writing style guides by searching online for information about that guide.

Topic Selection

You need to portray your idea or thesis statement to the reader to understand what the paper will cover or convey. The thesis has to be supported by other secondary statements and evidence to substantiate the overall claim of the article. Research materials would greatly help to prove your claims or support your stand on a particular matter.

Understanding Your Audience

The audience is a critical factor for consideration in your writing. Most often, your papers are read by your professors or classmates. Your writing style and argument need to match the level of understanding of your target audience.

Organization Skills

A well-organized paper is essential in the overall writing process. Crafting a compelling, well-structured essay will significantly enhance the delivery of the information. Research papers and dissertations depending on the discipline have a basic structure of title page, abstract, introduction, background, methods and materials, results, discussion and conclusion. Ensuring information is well-organized into its respective sections will eliminate the repetition of information. Organizing your notes well during the research process will also help you when compiling the reference list.

Grammar Skills

Even if your idea is excellent, research is substantial, you managed your time well and understood your audience – you need to ensure that your writing is clear and straightforward. Use the correct formal tone, proper grammar and avoid using words that can be rendered as jargon. Also, ensure that your document is free from any grammar, punctuation and spelling mistakes. You can employ the services of a plagiarism checker software to ensure the content is unique and non-plagiarized.

A great paper must have a clear writing, excellent grammar, and the stylistic approach must be consistent throughout the article.

Step-by-Step Research Paper Writing Guide

Follow these steps to write an excellent paper:

  1. Select a Topic - The topic should interest you and be not too narrow or broad to find materials to substantiate your thesis or claim. Avoid technical or super analytical issues that might prove a challenge to write about.

  2. Develop a Clear Thesis Statement - The thesis statement needs to reflect what the entire paper argues for and supports.

  3. Research to find relevant sources that will aid in your discussion and support your thesis.

  4. Create an outline – An outline will ensure that you stay on track and organized in your writing. The framework comprises the introduction, body and conclusion.

  5. Create your first draft. – Using the outline as your guide, it's time to fill in the research content, highlight relevant quotes, paraphrases, and summaries that substantiate your claim.

  6. Revise and edit your draft – Ensure your ideas and claims flow coherently throughout the paper. Proofread, edit, and correct any grammatical and typographical errors.

The last stage of preparing your paper for the audience is the presentation phase that involves creating a presentable final printout – neatly typed and uniformly spaced margins.

Remember: writing a research paper is not as difficult, as it seems once you get to understand the method and writing skills. It entails a lot of work and time. However, no need to worry - maintain self-discipline by allocating enough time for all the sections, taking enough breaks, stay organized and, most importantly, do not forget to cite your sources.

The Galaxy S8 will be launched in roughly two week's time, but it is still more than a month away from being available for purchase. While that is quite frustrating given Samsung has not released a flagship smartphone in over a year, it might also be the perfect time to pick up a S7 or S7 Edge in the US.

As of now, both the phones are available for purchase from Sprint and T-Mobile at a discount of $250 and a free 128GB micro-SD card. AT&T is selling the devices at a discount of $200, along with the same 128GB micro-SD card thrown in. Although Verizon or the unlocked variants of the S7 and S7 Edge does not have the same offers, Samsung has officially slashed the prices of the two phones by $100, even if you are buying the unlocked or Verizon version. However, you will get a 64GB memory card for free if you buy a regular S7 and a 128GB card will be bundled in only if you buy the S7 Edge in this case. Given that the S7 and S7 Edge are still among the best smartphones that money can buy, the discounts almost make them a must buy at this point.

The controversy regarding the 3.5mm jack is not going to go away anytime soon and while a lot of companies have decided to let it go, Samsung is not one of those manufacturers fortunately. Staying true to their promise about keeping hold of the good old 3.5mm headphone jack, the Galaxy S10 is going to have one as well. Although a prototype had earlier shown up that showed the S10 not having one, multiple casemakers have now confirmed beyond doubt that the upcoming S10 smartphones will indeed sport a headphone jack. This is good news really because if you think about it, it would practically make no sense to exclude it from any phone. In case you are not in agreement with that point of view, then let us refute two of the most popular arguments against the headphone jack.

A Headphone Jack Doesn't Allow for a Bigger Battery - Most smartphones with the biggest batteries available in the market today come equipped with a headphone jack, thus negating that argument. In fact, even the Note 9 sports a 4,000mAh battery, in addition to sporting the headphone jack proudly.

The 3.5mm Jack is Obsolete - A technology can only be considered obsolete when something better is able to replace it completely. An example of that would be how Android replaced Symbian because it was better in every way. Removing the headphone jack on the other hand, poses a number of problems and they can be summed up as follows.

·        There aren't enough good quality USB Type-C headphones out there at the moment

·        People have high-quality wired headphones at home that would lose compatibility with their smartphones if the jack was removed

·        Wired sound is more reliable and better in quality

·        Wired headsets do not require charging

·        You can't use USB Type-C headphones while the device is connected to a PC or being charged

If you need more convincing, then you are probably too biased to realize the truth and in that case, feel free to buy an iPhone!

One thing commonly associated with airports and holidays abroad are delays. Everyone has heard or been involved in a holiday nightmare where they or someone they know has been stuck in major queues at the airport as they get set to jet off to warmer climes. What people really want is to get to the airport and breeze through quickly, without delay, so that they can start their holiday stress free. This could become a realistic possibility thanks to a revolutionary new mobile app available for smartphones and tablets.

A new mobile passport app that has received official authorisation by US Customs and Borders protection is the first of its kind and is said to simplify the whole travelling process thanks to how it works. The app, known as Mobile Passport Control, is available to users of both iOS and Android based devices and has so far been downloaded over 1 million times by holidaymakers looking to get their vacation off to a great start thanks to less time spent waiting in airports.

The free app works by allowing the user to create a basic profile. The profile includes details such as the traveller's full name, date of birth, address, phot identification and passport information. This is all secured by a pin number that will ensure that no details can be stolen or misused at any point by a third party. A receipt is created by the application which is then used to show at border control, to save waiting time and queuing. The Mobile Passport Control app also means that the days of filling out customs forms are well and truly over as the app itself is enough to verify the traveller's identity and details. It's a truly revolutionary new way to travel; as long as it used in conjunction with advice from an experienced immigration lawyer, to ensure that all procedures have been covered.

The ease of use of the app and the fact that is can shave hours off of waiting times in some cases means it's extremely likely to appeal to the mass market who just want to get on their way as quickly as possible. Another method by which it saves holidaymakers plenty of time is getting from the plane and out of the airport too. Four questions are posed to the traveller about the journey that they are on, once all four are answered correctly they have four hours to get from the plane and out of the airport.

Airports around the world are fully aware of the delays that happen on a daily and sometimes hourly basis. With the Mobile Passport Control app already proving to be a huge hit in America, it's extremely likely that it will be adopted on a global scale, with the UK likely to be very keen on the idea. It's been over 10 years since Britain brought in the e-passport and these further advances in technology will not only benefit airports but also those travelling too. It's a sure fire way to ensure a great start to the holidays.

An estimated 55.7% of Americans played games on their mobile phones in 2016, and that number is expected to rise to 58.9% for 2017. As such, it's no surprise that more and more titles are being churned out daily. And as much as we love our games, we love them even more when they cost us nothing! For you Android aficionados, here's a helpful list of five great games you can play on your handheld that are all free (with in-app purchases).

By now, most of us are well aware of the Pokémon GO phenomenon. The game became the most popular mobile title of all time in July of 2016, reaching 21 million active users (the prior record holder was Candy Crush Saga, which boasted 20 million active users in 2013). With such immense initial success, it comes as no surprise that the fervor over Pokémon GO has since toned down a bit; but the game is still a winner, particularly given the free price tag. For those of you who have been living under a rock for the past year, the objective of Pokémon GO is to "catch" Pokémon by exploring the real world to locate them. New upgrades include the addition of "legendary" Pokémon and raid battles. The game is constantly evolving and is well worth a try, even if it's just to see what all the fuss is about.

Ever since the release of popular titles like Pole Position and Outrun back in the 80s, we have always been fascinated with racing games. Rather than becoming stale, this gaming genre continues to change with the times. Two great racing games that you can enjoy gratis are Asphalt Xtreme and Asphalt 8: Airborne, both created by Gameloft. If you can tolerate their assertive in-app purchase strategy, then both titles are quite enjoyable. Released just last year, Asphalt Xtreme puts you behind the wheel of an off-road machine and gives you the opportunity to unlock additional vehicles. It includes an online multiplayer mode and offers you many courses to race through. Asphalt 8: Airborne has been around since 2013, but it has a massive amount of content for you to experience. Like Xtreme, it also offers an online multiplayer option, as well as additional activities for you to enjoy.

If you like first-person shooters, you should check out Critical Ops. In a variety of urban-style settings, you can either battle against or play the game as a rebel yourself. Critical Ops has a substantial online multiplayer following, so feel free to invite your gamer friends to play against you. The programmers are still working out some of the kinks, but they update the game regularly. While it's still a work in progress, it's still a quality title at "the right price".

Famous for creating Clash of Clans, Supercell has most recently released Clash Royale, which you can play as an alternative to Hearthstone. The game allows you to build decks, collect cards and engage in individual battles with online challenges. You'll be given many opportunities to unlock new cards, and you can also form clans to share cards. You will also earn trophies when victorious, but you'll also lose them when you've been vanquished.

Lastly, if you're in the mood for a brainy, creative strategy game, then look no further. Your goal in Plague, Inc. is to mutate diseases with the sole purpose of infecting the earth's populace. You're given multiple viruses to consider unleashing, each with their own outbreak characteristics. One special feature of Plague, Inc. is that it gives you the option of saving multiple games so that you can play several iterations at once. The game's infection simulations are so realistic that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention invited the developers to be guest speakers at their headquarters.

We fully expect our list of free Android favorites to fluctuate from time to time as more games enter the market. We're also looking forward to more of our favorite online games (like Super Rally Extreme, Power Up and Traffic Slam 3) being made available on the mobile Android platform. One thing that the Android faithful know for sure is that the best free titles are yet to come!

Do you need to train your critical and technical eye more when it comes to audiovisual? Knowing how to edit videos requires a deep understanding of how people think, plan and record information. And don't forget understanding of special tools like audio converter, video editor, video converter and so on.

This knowledge enables you to build stories that inspire and communicate content in a powerful way. Nevertheless, the ideal is that editing is never the focus of content, meaning it should be so effective and so natural that people will not be distracted by its transitions and cuts.

Of course, you should always have the skills of a professional to do a good job, especially if the video is for corporate purposes, for example. Still, it is important to understand the basics to assess whether the selected professional is meeting your company's expectations. Again, you need special software like Wondershare, Adobe Premiere Pro, Corel, etc.

After reading this post you will be able to identify the aspects that make up a well structured and quality video. It's time for you to learn best practices that make all the difference to making a video truly engaging. Come on!

1. Track video focus

The purpose of video editing is to balance the message with the expectations of your audience. Always choose angles that help express content as a story, in a clear way. At the same time, try to imagine which specific points the audience would like to observe in a given scene. One way to do this is to focus and follow the protagonist element of the video as it moves through space. As the speaker moves in a particular direction, the camera corresponding to that angle is the one chosen for editing.

2. Give preference to close-ups

It is preferable that your video is cut between different camera angles so that the audience understands the space where the story is taking place. Once the scene is already contextualized and the audience is already in the scene, use more close-ups and medium shots. These placements bring more meaning to the public. Body language and the details of facial expressions are attractive and help capture the attention of your audience.

3. Cut into action moments

One way to make the transition more pleasing to the viewer's eyes between two different angles is by cutting off during a gesture. The viewer watches the movement begin at an angle and follows it as it ends in the next scene. This creates a sense of continuity that keeps the audience's attention on the content.

4. Make cuts to emphasize words

The sound of a word can make editing less obvious, especially when clipping occurs in keywords of video content. Editing works as another way to help highlight the word and make it easier for your audience to remember.

5. Focus on right speech

In videos that feature more than one person speaking, such as interviews, for example, it is important to pay attention to who is speaking and what they are listening to. A good game of cuts and transitions can make good use of the interviewer's question time and the interviewee's response time.

6. Eliminate mistakes

At the moment of speech, it is normal for people to add expressions such as "huh...", "yeah...", "like..." naturally and involuntarily. It's important to "clean up" these lines to bring more objectivity and dynamism to the video and not tire your audience. Also, of course, also eliminate technical errors or errors from the actor, presenter or speaker.

7. Merge reality and animation

A speaker often takes a slideshow to assist, exemplify, and make visual some of his ideas throughout his speech. In the same way that it is programmed so that throughout the presentation, the elements appear dynamically according to what is being spoken, a video can - and should - use similar devices. It is important to develop and apply animations and auxiliary quality vectors in video editing to make it as dynamic as a live presentation.

moto e6 plus

Ever since Motorola was acquired by Chinese company Lenovo, the company is releasing low-to-mid range smartphone every year. This year, Moto has released a few budget range smartphones but it seems that company has more to offer. Recently, the first image of Moto E6 plus surface over internet and know we know how it will look.

The Moto E6 plus has the most modern design we have seen on E-series phones so far, which justifies the ‘plus' tag. It features a water drop notch display with relatively slim bezels at the top and bottom. There are also two rear cameras on the back side along with the LED flash and fingerprint sensor embedded underneath the iconic Moto logo. We don't have the confirmed specs of the E6 Plus but surely, this isn't similar or remake of E6.

The moto E6 plus likely to have Android Pie out of the box just like the E6. The Moto E6 was codenamed surfna. The display is 5.45-inches with a resolution of 1440 x 720 and is powered by the Snapdragon 430. In regards to the camera situation, the Moto E6 has a single 13MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, in addition to a 5MP f/2.0 front-facing camera. Other highlights include 2GB of RAM, 16 or 32 GB of internal storage.
