Huawei released the P40 series this year in April with a 5G phone as well. The cutting-edge Kirin 990 5G chip is super-fast and takes the user experience to the entire next level. But Huawei P40 Pro and Pro plus are just too expensive for some users. The Huawei P40 Pro with 256GB internal storage and 8GB RAM comes around $900. The higher-tier of smartphones in the series goes even higher in terms of price.

Now, the company decided to launch a new smartphone in the P40 series but that would be a more economical version of P40. The Huawei P40 lite 5G is an upgraded version of the Huawei P40 Lite that the company released in April 2020. The phone features upgraded silicon, a better camera equipped with AI software, and of course, 5G connectivity support.

The phone has a 6.5-inch LCD panel with HDR 10 support at Full HD+ resolution and has 1080 x 2400 pixels. The phone is powered by the new HiSilicon Kirin 820 5G octa-core chipset compared to the Kirin 810 on the previous model. The phone features a quad camera setup on the rear side of the phone. The primary camera is of 64MP and uses Sony IMx582 sensor with f/1.8, the secondary camera is of 8MP wide-angle lens with f/2.4, the third camera is of 2MP super macro lens with f/2.4, and the fourth camera is of 2MP with depth sensor lens and f/2.4. The front camera can take up to 16MP photos with f/2.0. The phone has 6GB internal storage with 128GB RAM.

The phone has a 4,000mAh battery with a 40W proprietary fast-charging capability. This much battery is good enough for an average user to sustain his phone for more than 24 hours with a single full charge. You can charge your phone up to 70% in 30 minutes as per the company's official statement.

In terms of connectivity, the phone supports Bluetooth, USB Type-C, a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, and 5G support. The phone comes running EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10. The design is similar to Huawei Nova 7 SE that was launched in China last month. The phone comes in three colors - Space silver, Crush green, and Midnight black. OnePlus Nord has just started to receive a new Oxygen OS update that comes with improved system stability. This is the third Oxygen OS update by the company since the phone was launched in July and it is being rolled out in India, Europe, and America. The news comes as the phone is set for sale in India today and can be purchased through Amazon site, OnePlus official store as well as OnePlus experience stores in India.

As per the official statement, the latest update OnePlus Nord is getting brings Oxygen OS 10.5.3 - firmware version OxygenOS 10.5.3.AC01DA - in India. The company only mentions the ‘Improved system stability' without giving us any further detail on the update that what kind of improvements this update has to offer. As mentioned earlier, this will be the third update for the phone has gotten since its launch about two weeks ago.

 

The first update brought an optimized video calling experience as well as improve the performance of the rear camera by giving a higher-level of treatment to the depth sensor effect on the software side. Other improvements OnePlus Nord got included better power efficiency for video recording at 4K 60fps and system stability. The Chinese brand Xiaomi launched a new smartphone Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro but this is a renamed version of the Redmi K20 Pro which was already launched back in May. It follows the Xiaomi Mi 9T which was itself a renamed version of the Redmi K20. The Redmi versions are available in China, while the Mi 9T models are manufactured for European countries. The rebranding will make sense to some people as Redmi brand isn't well known outside China.

The Mi 9T Pro has some more desirable features than Mi 9T. It has a rear panel with a nano-holographic finish which gives a stunning look. If you hold it in the hand, you can have at an eye-catching flame effect appeared to be deep below the surface. It looks fantastic, and comes in either red or black, but appears to be missing the blue color from the Mi 9T. the body is made of Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and rear. Xiaomi Malaysia has recently initiated a contest on its official Facebook page that will likely choose ten lucky users among the contestants. Huawei was working on a new operating system after Trump administration enforced a ban on Huawei and Google announced to ceased its support of Android for the company's smartphones. And now, Huawei has officially announced HarmonyOS, the OS that is supposed to replace its reliance on Android. In China, the software is referred to as Hongmeng. The company says that the OS is based on a microkernel distributed OS, and can be used in everything from smartphones to in-vehicle systems. This will create a shared ecosystem across devices. The OS will be released as an open-source platform to encourage developers to work on it.

Since the US ban on Huawei back in May, the Chinese Govt. has shown its full support to the company and company announced that it is going to work on its own OS, but so far, we aren't sure about its reliability and global acceptance. Huawei plans to launch the new OS on a smartphone first before expanding it to other devices like wearables over the next three years. The first devices that will be getting HarmonyOS are expected to be unveiled on Saturday. The focus of this os is the Chinese market at first before Huawei expands it to other markets.

n a statement, the CEO of Huawei's consumer business group, Richard Yu, says that HarmonyOS is "completely different from Android and iOS" because of its ability to scale across different kinds of devices. "You can develop your apps once, then flexibly deploy them across a range of different devices," the CEO says. Although the OS has the ability to power more devices, in a follow-up press release, Huawei said that for the time being, they are going to use it only on the upcoming smartphones. It will continue using Android on its existing phones. Whether it can continue to do so is another matter. Huawei has launched its next flagship smartphone - Mate 30 Pro in Berlin. This is not new to anyone in the industry, but the Trump Administration has intentionally tried to hurt Chinese manufacturers and their business by placing these and its subsidiaries on the country's Entity list. That means that Chinese manufacturers like Huawei can't import products from US-based companies. This restriction was also imposed on software-based products as well. The immediate side effects of this trade ban are that many new Huawei and Honor smartphones can't use the Google Mobile Services, which includes the Google Play Store and Google Play Services.

This trade ban starts to imply on the smartphones being launched in late 2019 and early 202 flagship devices. Which includes the Huawei Mate 30 series and the Huawei P40 series. However, Huawei has found some unique way around this trade ban, which involves tweaking an existing already-certified model and then re-releasing it to the market. That's what the company seems to be working on right now with the upcoming Huawei P30 Pro New Edition. The smartphone in question was promoted on Huawei's consumer page in Germany. It previously launched a P30 Lite new Edition with Google Mobile Services.

This removes the limitation on Huawei - that can't get GMS certification for new phone models and can use the certification for only the existing model. Huawei can re-release and rebrand their existing phones as many times as they like. This is a quite flexible probation for them, too. They can add a few upgrades such as RAM, storage, and different variants of the camera module without trying to ship a new SoC. They can even change the final design of the finished product to make it look brand new. Based on the existing SoC, the phone will have a HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC since that will allow the company to retain the original P30 Pro's GMS certification. And we may have to see some new upgrades in terms of more storage, RAM, and design options.

Huawei usually announces two premium smartphone series every year: The P series and the Mate series. The P series has already arrived in the market in the early months, while the Mate series is still on the hold and we can expect it somewhere in the second half of the year. The Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro will have prominent camera housing at the rear side with possibly a triple camera for the vanilla model and a quad camera for Mate 40 Pro smartphone. As per rumors, the Huawei Mate 40 will have a 6.4-inch or 6.67-inch display with 90Hz refresh rate.

 

Mate 40 will be using the Kirin 9000. With the US trade ban in place, companies can't manufacture any new chip and as per resources, this is the last phone from the company that will use already-stockpiled chips. The Mate 40 offers 6/8GB of RAM and Mate 40 Pro comes with the higher 12GB option. In terms of battery, we expect to see at least 4,000mAh or 5,000mAh battery. To answer your curiosity, as we all know, there won't be any Google Apps or services. Which means you can't use apps like Whatsapp or banking apps.

Lately, Samsung switched to premium metal frames for its device's body design. The upcoming Galaxy S6 will allegedly join the trend with a metal frame body which will solve the problems that faced Samsung before on the market for using less than premium materials unworthy of upmarket flagship devices. However, Solving one problem typically creates others in the process, and antenna interference is one result of the metal used on the Galaxy S6's body.

 

A report in Korean media states that Samsung is resorting to the New FPCB antenna technology in the Galaxy S6, aiming to battle the negative effects of the metal frame on signal reception.

 

 

"FPCB" stands for Flexible Printed Circuit Board where thin strips of conductor (copper) are laminated in between two layers of PET polymer. They find wide application in the electronics industry when space constraints limit the use of rigid circuit boards.

 

The predominantly used type of antennas in recent years are manufactured using the LDS technology, or Laser Direct Structuring. It allows for a precise 3D shape to be modeled, thus fitting in whatever space the engineers find unoccupied in the device. This actually makes it superior to FPCB, the flexibility of which is limited.

Samsung has just officially unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S6 with an all New Metal-frame design and Dual-Glass panels (font - back). This time around Samsung has partnered with Microsoft, instead of Dropbox, and will be offering 115GB OneDrive storage for 2 years to each Galaxy S6 user.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 was launched in 4 different colors (White, Black, Blue and Gold Platinum) and they all will be available in stock by April,10th. Now, Samsung UK's web site lists the Galaxy S6 in five colors, instead of the official four.

 

The fifth option is "Dark Brown", it also cannot be clicked and disappears if you navigate away from the specific page in the source link. There isn't even an image of the device in Brown.

 

 

So, publishing the Brown color option was certainly a mistake. Its existence might be for real though. There's no trace of it on other local Samsung sites, suggesting it may be a UK carrier exclusive. The Galaxy S6 edge does not have a fifth color either, at least not yet.

Today, Samsung launched Two new colors for its latest flagship devices, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge. both devices are already available in White Pearl, Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum color variants... the Korean giant decided to add two new Exclusive colors.

 

The First color is "Blue Topaz" which is exclusive to the Galaxy S6 Only, the 2nd color is "Green Emerald" which is exclusive to the Galaxy S6 Edge Only.

HP went ballistic today at the CES 2015 with its monitor announcement, launching no less than seven of them at once. This includes some 4K monitors, some curved monitors, one 5K screen and there's even a 3D monitor.

 

The HP Z27q is the 27-inch 5K monitor with a 5120×2880 resolution, identical to the new iMac with Retina display. The monitor has two DisplayPort 1.2 inputs, four USB 3.0 outputs, tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustment, and covers 99% of the Adobe RGB gamut. The Z27q will set you back by a reasonable $1,299 starting March.

 

 

Then there are the two 4K panels, the 27-inch Z27s and the 23.8-inch Z24s. Both have 3840×2160 resolution, 1.07 billion colors, and cover sRGB color gamut. Both have HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2, Mini DisplayPort, four USB 3.0 ports, 1 audio out port, and tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustment. The Z27s will be available in January for $749 and the Z24s in April for $549.

 

 

The three curved models include the 34-inch Envy 34c, the 27-inch Pavillion 27c and the 27-inch EliteDisplay S270c. The 34c has a super wide 21:9 aspect ratio VA panel with 3440×1440 resolution, dual HDMI (one with MHL), one DisplayPort 2.1, 8-bit color depth, 98.8% sRGB coverage, low reflective coating, and DTS Audio with 6W per channel speakers. It will be available in April for $999. The 27c has a 1080p VA panel, HDMI 1.4, MHL 2.0, and VGA port. There are also built-in DTS Audio and 4W per channel speaker system. It is available now for $399. The S270c is practically the same but has a bigger 27-inch display.

Samsung faced lots of difficulties in the production process of its latest Galaxy S6 Edge which lead to the opening of another edge display factory ahead of schedule, a whole new factory dedicated to produce Curved displays for Samsung devices. The Korean giant is now looking to expand its Edge-screened range.

 

According to a report from the Korean media, Samsung is working on a New Edge device, which will be released before the the Galaxy Note Edge's successor, which also known as Note 5 Edge - Project Zen. So far it has been assumed that the sequel to the company's pioneering curved screen device is set to be announced this fall, alongside a vanilla Galaxy Note 5.

 

 

Project Zen is tipped to come with a dual-edge display around the 5.5-inch mark, S Pen and an inferior chipset. Then the inevitable question must be asked, if there will be enough room between it and the Galaxy S6 edge for yet another smartphone with such a screen.

HTC has started Rolling-out official Android 5.1 Lollipop update to its latest flagship devices, HTC One M9 and HTC One M9+ (unlocked variants). Carrier variants should start getting the same update in the upcoming few weeks.

 

 

The Update packs Android build 5.1 (Software version 2.8.617.4) keeping the same Sense 7.0 UI version but with few extra tweaks that includes new UI animations, improved sound controls that allow the user to enable Do Not Disturb mode but still allow alarms through and Camera enhancements.

 

 

In this update HTC is giving M9 users the ability to tweak the color temperature of their phone's display. Salary is the worst addiction that makes you kill your dreams and work your whole life. We get up early in the morning and travel to work 9 to 5 for an income that only fulfills our basic needs. On top of that, we don't have the freedom of our own life. We can't travel, take days off, or rest if we like it. Jobs bound us to a strict routine of slaves and keeps our mouth shut with minimum wage. 

The world is starting to see how jobs take away our entire life. That's why people are more focused on starting their own business. But it's not as simple as most of us might think. Most startups usually fail within the first year, and very few of them manage to become a stable business with a decent income. The problem is our education system. They teach us how to be a good employee, but no one tells us how to start a business. They don't give us practical education or experience.

We discover new things by making mistakes and suffering terrible losses. We can only withstand a limited number of losses before we fall down. And not all of us have the courage to get up again and give the business another shot. 

So, what's the solution to this problem?

Research!

Use the internet and contact experienced people of the same industry to learn from them. Don't for the time when you will give up everything and start working on your new business. Learn things whenever you can. Only when you are sure that now you have learned enough to start a successful business of your industry should you take the next step. 

The Internet is the source of valuable information where you learn from the experience of other people. This article is one of them. This is a humble approach to share our experience and knowledge with all ambitious entrepreneurs and businessmen. Here I have shared things you must have when starting a new business. You don't necessarily need all of them. It's just some things that may be helpful for some businesses and essential for some industries. 

A Unique Selling Proposition

This is not optional. If you are to start a business, you must have an idea that is unique. Of course, the entire business idea can't be unique due to the saturation we have in every single market. However, you can add one unique thing in the same cliché idea to stand out in the market. 

For example, for a food business, you could have a great taste that your customers won't find anywhere else. Whether it be quality, low prices, or additional service, that's for you to decide. It's not something you would find easily. You will have to research the entire market. See what people are doing and what your customers expect. Look for a market gap and make it your unique selling point. 

Focus all your business processes and marketing on that unique selling point to attract and retain customers. As long as you keep offering that uniqueness, you will keep getting returning customers. And a business with loyal customers never fails. 

At Least Six Month of Budget

It's a frequently asked question: how much money do you need to start a business? There is no one right amount. It all depends on the industry and the scale of the company you are starting. There is also not one formula to get an exact number. But here is something that will give an approximate idea of what you need. 

First, make a list of initial necessities you will need for the business. For example, equipment, workers, office, etc. write down the price that would be spent before starting operations. 

After that, get an estimate of how much money you will have to spend if you don't get any return at all. It includes rents, bills, and wages.  

Finally, multiply the monthly expenses to six and add it with initial expenses. That's your total investment. Remember, you multiplied the monthly expenses to six because you must have at least six months of budget to keep the business running. You can't expect profit at the beginning, and you need a strong backbone to suffer losses for this time period. 

Answering Machine

You start your marketing before you start operations. This means that you will spread brand awareness and let the world your business exist. So, you will be getting calls from prospects who may be interested in your product or services. If you don't properly retain them, you will lose potential customers. That's why you will need a professional phone number with a receptionist to answer all such calls. 

For many businesses, having a receptionist is crucial. For example, a doctor can't make an appointment and deal with customers while also treating a line of patients. 

Now you might be wondering how a new business can afford a receptionist. It's difficult enough to pay for other expenses, and hiring a receptionist before starting operations would be way out of budget. Fortunately, there is a perfect solution for it. 

There are businesses that let you outsource receptionist work. You get an answering service from a reliable company that will professionally deal with all your calls. Every time someone calls your number, it will be attended by a real person who will guide them as per your instructions. This will present you as a professional company to impress your prospects. 

A Website

You will be left way behind the market if you don't have a website. You might wonder since when a website is so important. It's become crucial as most of the world population regularly started using the internet. It works like an online branch of your business where you will get customers. Whether it's a product or a service you offer, you can rely on the internet to get you leads that you will contact to convince and convert into customers.

You need a domain, hosting, and a website. The first two barely cost $50 a year. As for the website, you can get one in any budget. There are sites you can get in $20, and you can have them custom-built for additional cost according to your requirements. With this, you should also consider acquiring some digital marketing services to promote your website and attract potential customers. 

A Network of Relevant Professionals

A network is one of the biggest assets of a professional. People think money is all they need to start a business. Honestly, you can always arrange the funds. But you can't have someone else run the business at your place. It's very important that you stay in touch with every professional that is remotely linked to your industry or business.

Even if they are not in the same industry, save their contact number and keep in touch. You should try to have one person from every profession in your network. You never know when you might need a lawyer. Other than that, the expertise of a marketer is also useful. Furthermore, keep business cards of reliable electricians, mechanics, plumbers, and other such professionals for maintenance of your office. 

Business License

Many businesses are not allowed to operate without a license. For example, if you are a dentist, you will need to get a license first. You get the license only after your fulfill certain requirements. The government doesn't want an unqualified person to provide services that could harm somebody. That's why a license is important. Get information about its requirements and complete them before you even start the plan of your business. 

Document of Roles and Responsibilities

You might be working alone, have partners, or employees. Many businessmen underestimate the value of documentation, which they later regret. You need to write detailed roles and responsibilities of each actor and have him sign before you start working together. If you don't do that, it will later cause problems between you two. 

It's particularly important if you have a co-founder or partner. Decide what goals each of you must achieve to keep the business running. If you are the one doing all the work and the other one only benefitting, sooner or later you will sick of it. Write documents and decide that each will only be rewarded after achieving certain goals and milestones. 

Team of Business Developers

There are businesses with lousy products and services that keep running and making profit just because they have great business developers. Their job is to bring work for you, in other words, customers. It takes more time to attract a customer than to retain it. You can't spend all your time looking for customers and convincing them. Your expertise lies elsewhere, and that's where you should focus. 

Work on your product or service to provide the best user experience. Business developers will bring customers to your doorsteps. If you can retain them with quality, they will keep returning, reducing your marketing cost. Make sure you find some experienced business developers and hire them on commission at the initial phases.
