Inarguably, the OnePlus 5 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2017 and even if you are a diehard fan of Samsung or Apple, chances are that you are taking a look at this article now just to see what the Chinese manufacturer might have cooked up this year. We won't disappoint you because we do have a lot of info on the OnePlus 5 for you today.
The Slimmest Flagship
According to CEO Pete Lau, the upcoming smartphone is going to be the slimmest flagship smartphone ever made, but that slimness will not come at the cost of performance or functionality in any way. However, there is a bit of confusion regarding whether the OnePlus 5 will indeed be the slimmest flagship smartphone in the world or just the slimmest flagship ever made by the company.
The Phone Beneath
In the latest teaser, we see a phone that is smaller in dimensions than the OnePlus 3, hidden beneath the OnePlus 3T. While this serves to show that it will be smaller and slimmer than the 3T, nothing else was revealed.
The Release Date
A "leaked" poster on Weibo shows the release date of an OnePlus device to be June 15; whether or not it can be trusted is something that is beyond us at the moment.
What We Know
The OnePlus 5 will without a shred of doubt, will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and Adreno 540 combo, helped by at least 6GB or even 8GB of RAM for an unprecedented multitasking experience. The 5.5-inch screen size will be retained with a bumped up QHD resolution. 64GB should be available from the start and a 128GB variant could be making an appearance later in the year as well.

Phone storage is one of the most important things that people require when they are dealing with smartphones. Some phones now come with as much as 64GB of memory and somehow, we always seem to fill it up. However, as a gambler, you can download as many apps as you want from the best nz casino sites because casino apps don't take too much space. I this article, we explore the ways you can get more storage in your android phone without having to delete everything. More often, we get carried away installing apps that we don't really need sometimes, as well as taking photos and videos.
Move photos and video off internal storage
Unbeknownst to many people, photos and videos actually take up a lot of space on your phone. This is why we suggest that you install a microSD card. After, make sure that you move all your photos and videos to the memory card. Also, you must set the memory card as the default location for all new photos and videos.
Free up space on Android with Google Photos
You will need to download Google Photos and set it to automatically backup all photos and videos over Wi-Fi. You may also want to backup your WhatsApp messages. As soon as everything is backed up onto Google Photos, you can go ahead and delete the local copies from your phone.
Delete WhatsApp media
A lot of online casino apps require a lot of space. This s why all gamblers must always make sure that they have enough space before they can think of playing on mobile casinos online.
You actually prevent WhatsApp from downloading any media automatically. However, you might be surprised to find out that the app actually stores all sent media on the phone.
To clear this media, go to your local storage and look for the WhatsApp folder. Next, go to Media, then WhatsApp Images and finally, Sent. From there, you will be able to delete all sent media, thereby releasing a lot of space on your android device. You can also delete any duplicates that you would have uploaded to Google Photos.
So far, the year 2019 has some amazing phones. The Samsung introduced Galaxy Note 10 plus, the Galaxy Fold, but the most important phone of the year was $399 - Google Pixel 3A. Right now, the trend is shifting towards budget smartphones like Apple and Samsung finding it hard to justify their $1000 tag prices. The phones which cost around $500 or under are becoming faster, stylish, and have a premium quality camera. Expensive phones are great but they have been almost the same every year. Thanks to Google, Moto, and OnePlus the technology is becoming more affordable.
Google Pixel 3A looks slick, fast enough and has comparable photos from a recent Samsung smartphone. The Pixel3A doesn't sacrifice the picture quality at all. It doesn't have 10x zoom, like Oppo's or an ultrawide lens on the P30 phones but the camera on the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3A is still highly remarkable. Even though dual or tri camera is in trend these days, Google uses only one camera and still the picture quality is amazing due to its software. It has 8MP front camera with a 12MP rear camera. The phone's rear camera has autofocus and phase detection. It comes with Android 9 Pie out of the box.
Between the astonishing camera and its pleasant user interface, the3A is a much better to phone than Android smartphones that cost nearly three times as much. The Google Pixel 3A has a Qualcomm's snapdragon 855 chips, while the iPhone XR and XS are powered by Apple's own A12 Bionic chip. These processors are powerful. They shoot to the top of every benchmark test. The Pixel3A can run 3D games like PUBG on high settings just fine. It has a 3000mAh battery that helps it offer a good all day long battery experience. It also includes an 18W Type-C charger that charges the phone very quickly. With the Pixel 3a, Google promises 3 years of guaranteed software support. The smartphone offers a good user experience without any lag or stutter during usage.
After months of leaks, Vivo Nex 3 is finally released. As expected, the headline feature is its waterfull full view OLED display, which spills over the sides of the Nex 3 and has screen-to-body ratio of 99.6 percent. The 6.89-inch HD+ AMOLED display has very less bezels which leaves no room for physical buttons on the side of the phone. The screen resolution is 1080 x 2256 pixels. Instead, Vivo is adding virtual buttons called Touch sense alongside a port-less and button-less design we saw earlier this year.
The Nex 3 is one of the most advance smartphones today. Vivo is releasing two variants of the phone with 4G and 5G network support, both of which run on the same processing chip - Qualcomm snapdragon 855 plus. To keep the phone cool it uses a vapor chamber cooling system. The battery capacity is 4,500mAh and supports super flash charge 44W fast charging. As for the security, the phone uses in-display fingerprint sensor.
Vivo introduced a circular triple-camera module that Vivo calls the lunar ring. This house a 64-megapixel main camera with another 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens. Vivo Nex 3 has again used the pop-up selfie camera. Vivo hasn't said anything about the price factor and the device will be available in only selected country in Asia pacific and other markets. Connectivity options include Connectivity options include 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth v5, NFC, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and GPS + GLONASS.
Foldable phones have become the reality after years of research and rumors. Samsung was the first tech company to launch and re-launch the foldable phone. Despite its earlier disaster release, the foldable phone is working just fine and people have bought it like crazy. Huawei was another company to follow the trend, and then there was foldable from Razr. But if you own OnePlus or love their technology and wonder why there is no foldable from the OnePlus so far then here is why. The CEO Pete Lau has some skeptical views about foldable devices. The verge caught up with the OnePlus head on the sidelines of the OnePlus concept one launch event. In a podcast interview, Lau expressed his concerns that OnePlus hasn't found any significant value in making a foldable phone just yet.
He believes that the appeal of foldables is "outweighed by the shortcomings or the disadvantages of the current state of the technology." Lau says he has qualms with the way creases appear on the displays of foldable phones such as the Samsung Galaxy Fold. Due to the plastic nature of current foldable displays, the screen can scratch easily and issues can occur at the point where the actual fold happens, Lau explains. "This isn't something that I can accept in products that are built,".
Lau says that the technology needs to mature to a level where display folds are crisp and don't impact the potential usability of phones. He further commented about the redesigned Moto Razr. In his opinion, though it is a different implementation, its display faces the same challenges as the Galaxy Fold. He isn't the only head of the tech company who has concerns about the device flexibility and usability. LG has also shared the same sentiments. The company had planned to manufacture a foldable phone in 2018 but later on dumped it. So, what do you think about the foldable.
OnePlus has officially come up with the upcoming smartphone in the budget category. The phone costs less than $500 and called Nord. It won't just another smartphone in the market as it will comprise a range of devices that mark the affordability. The phone is getting released to the UK, European, and Indian markets. The Nord phone is going to be the first phone of a new series line that will make the premium OnePlus experience accessible for more users. The device was initially rumored to be called as OnePlus 8 lite and OnePlus Z, but the company decided to settle for OnePlus Nord.
The company is focusing on ‘never-settle' spirit and creating some of the best product lines for its consumers, but it is also about challenging ourselves and going beyond our comfort zone, said OnePlus founder and CEO Pete Lau. He further added, "We are immensely proud of our flagship products and will continue to create more tech-leading flagships for our users. Now we are excited to share the OnePlus experience with even more users around the world through this new product line. OnePlus also confirmed, via its Instagram channel, that 100 units of its new smartphone will be available to order at 9 am BST (4 am EDT, 1 am PDT) on July 1.
OnePlus launched its affordable handset back in 2015 and since then it hasn't introduced any budget-friendly phone. So, far there isn't much information on the device. A few leaks are about its camera and processing chips. According to the rumors, the OnePlus Nord is designed to feature a dual-facing camera system that includes a 32MP lens for the primary camera and an 8MP depth-sensor camera lens in a punch-hole cutout in the corner of the display. The other leaks suggest a device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset, 6GB of Ram, and a 6.65-inch display screen with three cameras at the rear side. A limited batch of 100 pre-orders are set to open on July 1, so we should have a better idea of the final price by then.
There have been lots of hype around OnePlus new affordable phone - OnePlus Nord. A phone that promises a lot with a relatively smaller price. The new OnePlus Nord was rumored to offer a similar Android experience as any premium phone probably would provide, but at a lower price. The OnePlus Nord hasn't skipped an essential ingredient of a successful phone - a bright AMOLED display, a bigger battery, and multiple cameras. With its other series elevated to the flagship-tier, consumers were asking for a budget-friendly phone for many years, and now, we finally have it.
The phone falls into the sub Rs. 30,000 category and needed something to compete with the same category phones like Vivo's X50 series and Realme's X3. OnePlus Nord is the start of more budget-oriented series, and the company had established this even from the design and feel of its new phone's box. Instead of its typical red long boxes, the phone comes in a relatively compact black box with a large branding name on top of it.
Inside the box, you will find a new silicone case, red Type-c cable, 30T charger, and a SIM eject pin. The OnePlus Nord is much lighter than it looks like, and this is something you might notice even when holding it for the first time. The phone has a glossy finish look with a marble blue color. The camera cutout in the display and the positioning of the rear camera to the left is similar to how Realme X50 5G has placed their camera system.
OnePlus Nord has an AMOLED display with a 6.44-inch display and a Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. You also get an in-display fingerprint sensor, which works well. The OnePlus Nord features a Snapdragon 765G octa-core SoC. The phone is available in three variants - with 8GBRAM/128GB storage, the 12GBRAM/256GB storage, and an India exclusive variant with 6GBRAM/64GB storage.
The phone has a 4,115mAh battery which supports Warp charge 30T fast charging. Other features include NFC, dual-SIM support, and dual-band Wi-Fi. The rear camera is of 48-megapixel with optical image stabilization. The other cameras on the rear side are an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 5-megapixel depth camera lens.
The less-than-30,000 category just a lot more exciting this year, as we have seen two big names Realme and OnePlus released their budget-friendly phones. The Realme X3 series which includes the Realme X3 and Realme x3 superzoom offers some really good specifications including a telephoto camera for the price. OnePlus recently released its much-hyped Nored smartphone, making it the second affordable mobile from the company. Vivo also went ahead and launched V19, which also good a good rating from the users. These phones make some really good list of the phones that are under Rs. 30,000. But what if you have to choose just one. Don't worry. We are here to help you to make the decision and purchase the best phone for your hard-earned money.
The OnePlus Nord is a new phone from OnePlus and the good news is that it falls into the budget category while providing some of the best specs around. It manages to deliver a similar Android experience as the OnePlus 8, which is a pricier smartphone. OnePlus has kept all the major specs such as the AMOLED display, warp charge, fast charging, and a massive battery power to back up the phone all day long. The OnePlus uses a glass cover on the back and it's more like plastic.
The phone features Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G which does support 5G, that is cool. Overall it is hard to find any flaw in terms of performance. You can play video games or watch videos without getting it too hot or lagging performance. It uses four rear cameras with two front cameras. The primary camera is 48MP and uses the same sensor as the flagship OnePlus 8, complete with optical optimization to eliminate blur and unwanted noise. It can sharpen things in tricky shooting scenarios, like harsh sunlight. The front camera can record in 4K at 60fps.
In recent years we saw a trend of expensive and bigger smartphones being manufactured by smartphone companies but now companies are moving back to more affordable devices. Smartphone users are becoming more smart and deliberate with their purchase choice now and choose features over brand names. Chinese smartphone manufacturers have played a great role when it comes to introducing affordable smartphones with premium-like features. OnePlus has always been a leading name in the affordable category - including the OnePlus 8. Now, big names like Samsung and Apple are following the trend and coming up with more affordable versions of their phones.
If you think that a cheaper phone is of less quality, think again. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and OnePlus 8 come with the same Snapdragon 865 processor. Galaxy S20 FE has 6GB RAM whereas the latter has 8GB RAM. But surprisingly, the OnePlus 8 cost less than S20 FE. It's just not the processing power, but the OnePlus 8 offers a better software experience too. It runs on the light Oxygen OS that is optimized to deliver a faster and smoother user experience. You can also choose to customize the look and feel according to your personal preference to match your style.
OnePlus 8 is a light and thin smartphone, specifically designed for people who prefer beautiful phones. The phone supports 30w wrap charging, which can do a full charge in just 30 minutes. The phone has slightly slimmer bezels and a punch-hole camera on the top-left side. As per camera, the phone features a 48-megapixel as a primary camera, 16-megapixel, and a 2-megapixel camera sensor. OnePlus 8 is available as low as $599 and eligible Verizon users can get the OnePlus 8 as low as $10 a month. The phone has a premium glass finish that makes it a really stylish phone to keep in hand. So, what do you prefer on a phone? Its brand name, features, or price tag? Do let us know your opinion in the comments section below.
Google Pixel 5 is a great phone with an attractive design and an affordable price tag but the competition among phones within the same category is fierce. Google Pixel is known for its near DSLR-quality shots with a point-and-shoot camera. No mobile phone camera seems to bear Pixel 5's camera in low-light situations, which makes it a great mobile phone for users who look at the camera specs while making the phone purchase decision. Google Pixel 5 is the most expensive Pixel phone of 2020 but considerably cheaper than other flagship phones from Apple or Samsung. It starts at $699 with 128GB storage. There isn't a storage upgrade option and you can't expand the storage with a microSD card as well.
When it comes to photography, Google relies more on software than hardware to get the most out of a small sensor. But the competition has gone intense since the first Pixel topped the Samsung and Apple cameras. Now the iPhone 12 and Galaxy Note 20 ultra use their own software stuff to shoot and mix images that can compete with Google. As expected, Google didn't bring any major improvements to camera hardware in Pixel 5 and that's okay. The Pixel 5 has a 12Mp f/1.7 primary camera that can capture exceptional shots with rich colors, intense detail, and wide dynamic range. In a challenging situation, it can do a lot better than previous Pixel cameras, though most of the shots taken with Pixel 4XL are nearly identical to Pixel 5.
The color accuracy of the Pixel 5's camera is exceptional. Other phones seem to have some internal struggle under certain conditions where the Pixel 5 gets close to the real-life color in almost every shot. Google replaced the zoom lens on the Pixel 4 with a 16Mp, f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens despite saying last year that the telephoto lens is more important. The device also features an extra-wide-angle lens which is great for capturing landscapes, large objects, or densely packed skyscrapers. The front camera features an 8MP f/2.0 sensor for detailed selfies.
Samsung Galaxy M12 is due to an exceptional release next year, but the phone is already making waves in the tech industry due to its exceptional features that include a 7,000mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy M12 is going to have the same battery as the M51. The phone belongs to the budget-category phone series and even fell into the entry-level in the category as well.
Recently, we have seen a leaked video uploaded by onLeaks, that is supposed to showcase the 360 views of the Galaxy M12. They had uploaded the graphical renders earlier and now they have come up with a short video that shows M12 from different angles. Due to the angles, the video was shot from, you can easily see a two-texture rear side that reflects light.
The Galaxy M12 will be 163.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm, a fraction narrower and thinner than the M51's 163.9 x 76.3 x 9.5 mm. Like it, it will have a plastic frame, which will help keep the weight down (but we're probably still looking at 200+ grams phones). As per rumors, the device will have a 6.5-inch diagonal display screen. The tech giant is working on two different models - one would be the global version and the one will target more of the Indian market.
Samsung Galaxy M12, as per leaks, has the waterdrop style notch to feature the front camera. On the rear side, the phone has a square model that comprises four sensors and a flash. The phone contains a side-mounted fingerprint sensor whereas Samsung Galaxy A42 5G has an in-display fingerprint sensor. There would be a speaker grille and a 3.5mm audio jack that sits alongside the charging port. According to reports, we can expect the phone to be released somewhere in the first quarter of 2021.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro has taken photography to the next level. The phone features several camera modes that allow you to take almost DSLR-like photos with a simple point and shoot camera. The phone has a standard photo mode that uses a 50-megapixel primary camera. The sensor is RYYB instead of regular RGB which can take more light and create vibrant photos. Mate 40 Pro offers aperture mode that allows you to get manual control over how much light you want to take in. This mode is good for advanced users who like manual control over all the elements.
Recently, we have seen the latest trend of smartphones competing for overnight modes. The device takes great images even in low-light situations in night mode, although when you take a dark photo in the standard photo, integrated AI optimization plays its role to make pictures look brighter and sharper. If you are taking pictures where light is good enough, it is better not to switch to night mode as the standard model is also capable of taking low-light photos.
The portrait mode introduced in Huawei Mate 40 Pro is slightly more advanced than regular smartphones. As it doesn't just blur the background but also softens the background and applies a desaturation effect to clearly differentiate you from the background. If you like the traditional black-and-white style photography, perhaps, the monochrome effect is for you. The device can add a black and white filter to a color image. You can apply the monochrome overlay for regular images or portrait shots.
Last but not the least, the Huawei Mate 40 Pro features Moon mode which was introduced back in Huawei P30, but the company didn't highlight it much. The results have incredible improvement and you can take pictures of the moon by simply zooming in and keeping the moon in the frame.
Red Magic 5S is purely about gaming and powerful processing. It offers a great cooling system, long-lasting battery life, a customizable gaming ability, and a 144Hz display refresh rate. But while it is more focused on gaming features, ilacksck every-day details. The smartphone has an RGB rear panel with pressure-sensitive zones, and a built-in cooling fan to prevent the smartphone from getting hot while you play games on it. The phone is powered by Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865 processor. The phone is protected by corning Gorilla glass and has a large 6.65-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen which offers an HD resolution of 10x80 x 2340 pixels.
Red Magic 5S is powered by Android 10 on the backend and uses the Red Magic 3.0 user interface layout. The smartphone houses a triple camera on the rear side with 64 primary cameras, an 8MP ultrawide camera lens, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. For the front photography, it uses an 8MP wide-angle camera sensor that takes great selfies. To keep the phone running for long hours, it uses a non-removable Li-Po 4,500mAh battery with fast charging support up to 55W. You can charge the phone's battery from 0 to 15% in just 15 min, and 100% in 40 min as advertised by the company. You can purchase the phone in two colors such as silver, blue, and red.
Another amazing feature of the phone is its ability to shoot 8K videos at 15fps, 4K videos at 30fps or 60fps, or HD videos at 30fps, 60fps, 120fps, and 240fps. The phone has 3.0 USB, Wi-Fi connectivity options. The smartphone does not support extending an external memory. The phone has built-in memory options in 8GB, 12GB, 16GB RAM with 128GB, 256GB internal storage options. It has an under-display fingerprint sensor that uses optical sensors.

OnePlus 9 Pro is the premium flagship smartphone of the series and carries a trademark camera by Hasselblad. Let's talk about its design specifically. To be honest, as a premium smartphone, the device hasn't done any experiment with the design and comes with a slightly heavier body as compared to the other competing devices available in the market.
But the good news that the phone features a great build quality with OnePlus' unique AG-glass processing. The phone comes in three different colors, and among these three options, Pine Green variant is the most impressive one. The only cons we could find is the placement of the fingerprint scanner, which is too close to the bottom and may require you to stretch your thumb a little bit to access it.
One Plus Pro features a display made of LPTO O-Led, a new display material that helps phones to reduce power consumption even at an excellent high-refresh rate display. But that doesn't mean you get any longer battery life. OnePlus 9 Pro is one of the devices that don't overheat easily. The company has come up with a pretty conservative energy strategy to protect the phone from being overheated. If you continue to play video games for a long period of time, and the phone gets hotter than 47C, you might experience a performance degradation.
OnePlusl 9 Pro is using hybrid focus technology that enables you to take pictures with really quick focusing speed. Most of the samples taken by the primary camra are impressive and show a natural richness of colors that is pleasant to watch. The night photography also shows stunning photography and has an improved noise control over its predecessor. Along with the primary camera, you also get an ultra-wide angle lens. Both camera sensors support up to 8k video shots at 30fps. As a final verdict, we would call it a good catch for anyone interested in mobile photography alone, but if you are into video games, probably this isn't the phone for you.
Realme has announced the latest Q3 series in China today. All these smartphones included in the series are 5G capable. The Realme Q3i 5G is the cheapest phone with 5G so far, and starts as lows as $170. The phone has 162.5 x 74.8 x 8.5 mm (6.40 x 2.94 x 0.33 in) dimensions and weighs only 185g. The phone is available in supersonic blue and black colors. The Realme Q3i has a glass front with Gorilla Glass 3+ with plastic back panel and frame. The phone also supports dual SIM and has weather-sealed ports and loudspeakers.
Realme Q3i features a 6.3-inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors, 1080x2400 pixels and 20:5 aspect ratio. The phone has 409 ppi density with multi-touch feature. The device has a triple camera system with a 48 MP, f/1.8, 26mm (wide) primary camera sensor, a 2MP f/2.4, (macro), and a 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth camera sensor). The phone features an LED flash with HDR and panorama. The front camera has a 16MP camera sensor with HDR features. Both front and back cameras allow you to shoot a HD video upto 30fps.
Although the official pricing is confirmed, the phone might get cheaper and might sell around $150 in China. The phone comes with two storage configurations. You can purchase the 4GB or 6GB of RAM with 128GB internal storage. The device will be available on major E-Commerce platforms like JD.Com, Sunning and the official Realme website. The Xiaomi Mi Mix is a "concept" phone that you will actually be able to buy from November 4, provided you live in China. The ¥3,499/¥3,999 ($515/590 approximately) price tags seem almost underpriced, considering the kind of hardware and innovation it brings with it. The 6.4-inch Full HD display in front of the device nearly has no bezel with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.3%, something that was only a concept till now. The only bezel it actually has is at the bottom of the display, which houses an 8-mp selfie cam.
However, it would be unjust to judge the Mi Mix based solely on the beautiful all screen display, without taking into consideration the fact that it has removed most traditional sensors, as well as the microphone for phone calls! Yes, the Mi Mix senses proximity via ultrasound and a piezoelectric speaker does the work of the microphone via utilizing the metal frame; which in itself sounds like some crazy piece of science fiction tech to us! The futuristic design was apparently achieved by the engineers at Xiaomi by working with the French designer Philippe Starck.
The side buttons and the back of the Mix are ceramic and the display is curved near the corners to add to that full-screen look which it sports so flawlessly. Just in case the innovations seemed insufficient, note that the Mi Mix is also supported by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC, 4GB/6GB RAM, 128GB/256GB internal storage, a 4,400mAh battery, a 16-mp rear camera, an 8-mp front camera and even a 3.5mm jack. To be honest, we are blown away by the Mi Mix and what it promises to bring to the table.

A photo has been leaked online that shows a phone sporting a display that's not curved on the sides but right at the centre. The concave design may remind one of the LG G Flex, but this one is a Xiaomi. It looks like the Chinese brand has recently decided to explore all aspects of a smartphone's display. The beautiful Mi Mix was not only the first true bezel-less phone of the year, but it also sold faster than any phone ever did in China. The Mi Note 2 was unveiled at nearly the same time and it was the company's first phone to feature a dual curved panel. The Mi Note 2 took 50-seconds before going out of stock during its first sale.
As you can imagine Xiaomi's two experiments went very well for them and therefore, it would be quite interesting to see how this concave design fares, when and if it comes out. The image was spotted by GizmoChina on Weibo and from what we can see here, it's running on the Chinese version of the MIUI. As far as we can tell, the curve is limited to the centre of the phone only, as no curved edges can be seen in the picture.

Xiaomi unveils Redmi K20 Pro and it has everything you need in a premium smartphone. It is the latest and the first smartphone that cost less than $400 and still powered by the Snapdragon 855. Xiaomi has focused exclusively on the budget category with Redmi series but with Redmi K20 Pro it is going to change the whole Redmi branding for good. It has a similar design to K20 but has high-end hardware specification that makes it even better.
It is the first most affordable smartphone with Snapdragon 855 chipset which will really improve the performance of the phone. The device has a huge 6.39-inch FHD display without any cutout at the front due to a retractable front camera. It features a 20MP sensor for the front camera. The camera pop up under a second, and you can also customize the activation sound. But the most spectacular feature of the device is its evocative gradient background which will make you fall in love with its look and feel.
It has a 48MP primary sensor for the rear camera, an 8MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and a 13MP wide-angle shooter. The Redmi K20 Pro is powered by a 4000mAh battery with 27W wired charging, which takes around an hour to charge from zero to 100 percent. For connectivity, it has a Wi-Fi, a USB-C charging and Bluetooth 5.0. The Redmi K20 Pro will go on sale from tomorrow in China and will be available in red, blue, and carbon fiber color options. The Redmi K20 will go on sale from June 6 in China and will start from $290.
Xiaomi Mi 9 SE is another great phone in the budget category. The worldwide release of the Pixel 3a proved really good for the smartphone industry, as its low price and great camera with exceptional visual experience proved that the mid-range market has lots of potential to grow. Everyday smartphones seem to go bigger but not everyone is fan of huge display. The Xiaomi Mi 9 SE comes with a smaller display. There are already so many mid-range phones. The Pixel 3a is definitely one of the best, and the Mi 9 SE has made to the second position. The Nokia 7.1 is proved to be one of the best low budget smartphone.
The device comes with the glass sandwich design alone feels as good as the OnePlus 7. It is available in black color which comes with the problem of consistent need of wiping fingerprints. It is powered by the Qualcomm snapdragon 712 processor, 6GB RAM, and has 64GB or 128GB storage. That said, there is no headphone port or expandable storage. The battery is kind of small but enough for this device - 3070mAh.
The display is super AMOLED with FHD+ panel, comes with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution. It is running Android Pie out of the box and runs heave MIUI 10. The Xiamoi Mi 9 SE has triple camera setup consists of a 48-MP main sensor, 8MP 2x telephoto zoom lens, and a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens. The image quality is good. The 48MP sensor uses pixel-binning to produce sharp, colorful, and vibrant images. At the front camera it uses 20MP selfie camera. It lacks the overall quality. There is also a beauty mode for taking selfies with a number of tweak and options. The Mi 9 SE comes with an 18W USB-C fast charger. It will take you from zero to 100% in under an hour and 30 minutes.Much like the Pixel 3a, there is no wireless charging included. It's a shame given that the Mi 9 SE has a glass back, but it's not too much of a big deal given that fast-charging is included.
The Chinese brand Xiaomi launched a new smartphone Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro but this is a renamed version of the Redmi K20 Pro which was already launched back in May. It follows the Xiaomi Mi 9T which was itself a renamed version of the Redmi K20. The Redmi versions are available in China, while the Mi 9T models are manufactured for European countries. The rebranding will make sense to some people as Redmi brand isn't well known outside China.
The Mi 9T Pro has some more desirable features than Mi 9T. It has a rear panel with a nano-holographic finish which gives a stunning look. If you hold it in the hand, you can have at an eye-catching flame effect appeared to be deep below the surface. It looks fantastic, and comes in either red or black, but appears to be missing the blue color from the Mi 9T. the body is made of Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and rear. Xiaomi has chosen a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen for the Mi 9T, with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels.
With Mi 9T Pro the device goes notch-less as the selfie camera is a pop-up unit on top of the phone. The device is equipped with a 20-megapixel selfie camera, joined by a triple-lens camera on the back, made of a 48-mega pixel main lens, a 13-mega pixel wide-angle lens, and an 8-mega pixel telephoto lens. The phone comes with Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. The Mi 9T Pro has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip, compared to the Mi 9T's Snapdragon 730. It comes with 6GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage space. The battery has the same 4,000mAh capacity but gains faster charging. It is announced for release in Europe, the Mi 9T Pro costs 400 euros, or about $443, for the 64GB model, or 450 euros/$500 for the 128GB phone.
Xiamoi had great success with its phenomenally designed Redmi Note series, and just as the Redmi Note 7 made to the news by featuring a 48-MP phone camera earlier this year, Redmi Note 8 Pro is also coming up with a big camera lens. Realme semi-revealed its XT with the same sensor a couple of days ago, but the company is making it official now.
The camera phone with extra hardware and software capabilities are no longer surprise anyone. This is something almost everyone expects nowadays. But 48MP seems huge. Why would someone want a 64-mega pixel camera lens on a phone?
Another curious thing is - Is the image produced by a 48-mega pixel camera on a phone a high definition image? or the processing is done at some other level. Generally, mobile phones can't handle such a lens. There are two sensor designs in Redmi Note that are grouped together in fours for better light sensitivity. Using this technique a 48 MP camera phone will produce an only a 12-megapixel image. While Samsung 64-MP sensor gets you 16 MP resolution which is physically large, so it will capture more light.
In some situations, you might want to shoot in 64MP camera mode, but mostly 16MP mode will be useful. Realme has provided the sample images that were taken by the Redmi Note 8. The images do indeed presents lots of detail in certain areas of the image, though the heavy-duty processing was done on the software end.
There are a 6.55-inch 1080p screen and a quad-camera setup including that 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide, and two assistive 2-megapixel sensors along with a 20-megapixel selfie camera. The Note 8 Pro uses MediaTek's gaming-focused Helio G90T processor paired with 6 or 8GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of storage.
Since the technology has revolutionized the communication industry, we have witness some amazing innovations in mobile phones. The phones are bigger, faster, and smarter than ever before. But one area that most of the mobile phone manufacturers completely ignored is the charging ability. Thanks to companies like Oppo and Reno, we are getting fast charging now. Till now, the Oppo Reno Ace holds the title of the fastest charging smartphone with 65W charging ability. The phone can be fully charged from zero in just 30 minutes. Now, Redmi is here to compete with the Oppo Reno Ace with its 66W charging speed.
Redmi 5G phone with the model number M2001J1E/C has appeared on China's 3C telecommunications website. According to the specifications listed on the website, the phone will pack 66W charging speed that is higher than any other existing smartphone's charging ability. Xiamoi is expected to launch Redmi K30 series phone with 5G network support next month. This would be another milestone towards the fast charging improvements this year.
Earlier this year, Xiamoi claimed to test 100W charging that is good enough to fully charge a 4000mAh battery in just 17 minutes. Oppo, later on, claimed that it is working on a 120W charging solution that could fully charge a 4,000mAh battery in 13 minutes. Sounds exciting. Right? But these are just claims and we have no evidence that it is going to work. As fast charging can cause the phone to over-heat and so far, no one has achieved more than 65W fast charging ability.
Earlier this year, Xiaomi teased a foldable smartphone prototype but since then we haven't heard much about the foldable phone, neither from the official source nor from there were any unofficial leaks. Maybe the company was simply waiting for the right time to unveil their foldable. Meanwhile, the company filed for a patent of a foldable phone. The patent has already been approved and made its way into the world intellectual property office database.
The internet magazine LetsGoDigital spotted the patent filed by the Xiaomi that shows a Moto Razr like clamshell foldable phone. The device has a large display panel which folds in half from the middle, protecting the screen as a result. This is unlike the previous double-fold design we have seen on Xiaomi foldable design. It is entirely different from Samsung or Huwaei which opens up in the middle to become a tablet.
However, unlike the Moto Razr, this new foldable smartphone patent has a visible pop-up camera for taking selfies. The front camera system includes a camera, a flash, and a sensor to detect the face. There is a separate camera system on the rear side with a tiny display above it. It has a sensor alongside the flash. The secondary display at the rear side looks to be dedicated screen for the notifications of messages, or emails when the phone is folded and closed. This will help to keep track of incoming calls and messages even without having to open the fold every time to see who is calling.
From the looks of it, the patented foldable phone does have a somewhere realistic design. However, companies file many patents and it doesn't necessarily mean Xiaomi will launch this phone. The company could just be covering its bases as far as foldable phones go, trying to find the right design it can eventually bring to the market. Apart from Xiaomi, Samsung is also working on a clamshell foldable phone design.
Mi 10 pro plus is rumored to be the fastest charging phone to be released this year, according to the tipster Digital Chat Station. This post went online just a day after a Xiaomi smartphone reportedly posted an impressive score on AnTuTu benchmarks. The phone with the model number M2007J1SC recorded a benchmarking score of 687,422. Earlier this week, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun also talked about the top-class specifications. Considering all these developments, it is safe to assume that the upcoming handset may be Xiamoi's premium flagship Mi 10 pro plus.
The report suggested that the upcoming phone may feature a combination of wired, wireless, and reverse wireless charging technology. Yesterday the same tipster also shared the benchmark scores of a Xiamoi device. Scoring 182,883 points in CPU, 292,704 points in GPU, 115,687 points in memory and 96,148 points in UX tests, the device had a total score of 687,422. In comparison, the high-end Lenovo Legion Phone Duel posted a score of 648,871. The rumour mill suggests that this device may be the upcoming Mi 10 Pro Plus.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun shared information on the device specs. The phone is expected to feature a high-refresh rate scree, a powerful camera with 30x and above zoom. For security, it uses an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers and inbuilt cooling technology to prevent the processor from overheating. Jun also mentioned that the device battery may have a capacity of 4,500mAh and above. It's camera features a front and rear optical sensors with sensitive automatic brightness control. In terms of connectivity and communication with other devices, it is expected to support near-field communication and an infrared remote control. The phone might be launched in the next month in China.
Xiaomi has released four premium smartphones with 108MP primary cameras. These four phones are the Mi 10, Mi 10 pro, Mi Note 10, and Mi 10T pro, all of which are expensive smartphones. However, the company is releasing an affordable phone with a super high-resolution camera sensor too. The leaks come directly from the reliable leaker Digital Chat station on Weibo, who posted about the upcoming smartphone J17, which features a 108MP primary camera and another sensor paired with a telephoto macro lens.
The recent Xiaomi Mi 10T has the codename J3 and most Xiaomi have codes beginning with J, so J17 is likely a phone from the company. Other rumors suggest that we may see Redmi Note 10 early next year. Redmi is Xiamoi's affordable smartphone series and in many countries it competes with another affordable smartphone - Motorola's Moto G line. Xiaomi usually introduces new technologies in its Mi series before bringing it to Redmi series.
So far, Redmi series have the high-resolution camera sensor up to 64MP, so 108MP would be a big jump. This would be the first affordable phone to feature such a high-resolution camera. Perhaps the upcoming phone the leaks hints at is the Xiaomi Mi Note 11, an unconfirmed follow-up to the Mi Note 10.
108MP camera seems to be a hot selling point for premium smartphones this year. We have seen a high-resolution camera up to 108MP in the past 12 months or so, including the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and Samsung Galaxy Note 20 ultra. But all of these phones were expensive and not something everyone could afford. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 ultra was nearly over $1,000 which is an insane price tag.
Now, we leak by a reputable leaker with username ‘digital chat station' on Weibo social network that is surprisingly pleasant. According to him, the first 108MP Redmi phone is in the last phases of the manufacturing process and we might have it soon. He further added that it's part of three new upcoming Redmi Note 9 series devices that are expected in mid-November rather than a Redmi Note 10 series.
According to him, the phone will feature a Samsung Isocell HM2 sensor. This is a new 108MP camera sensor from the company and features a 0.7-micron pixel with a 1/1.52 inch sensor size - slightly smaller in both categories than the company's earlier 108MP camera sensors. The HM2 still features new binding technology, combining data from nine adjacent pixels into one for a crisper and cleaner image.
This isn't the first time we have such a leak, as the earlier leaks suggest that a phone called J17 by Redmi might have a 108MP camera and a telephoto macro camera. The "J17" lines up with a Xiaomi device with model number M2007J17C/M2007J17G that was previously spotted on certification websites and could offer 33W charging. The Redmi Note 9 Pro max is currently one of the most popular high-end devices in India. So, if the new phone fall in the budget-category, we could be looking at the cheapest 108MP phone.
If you liked Redmi K30's design, you are going to love K40. it's a much more refined model than its predecessor. It weighs only 196g. From the rear side, the design of K40 is almost the same as Mi 11 design. The camera module is elongated and camera sensors are distributed more evenly.
The fancy gradient back cover and camera placement overall make the rear side of the phone more clean and elegant. The red and blue gradient color is the primary color of the K40 where it refracts blue and red in different lights. Many people are going to love this fancy gradient.
K40 uses a flat E4 OLED screen with 1080 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate featuring 1,300 nits of peak brightness while consuming almost 15% less electricity, the performance is truly astonishing. With the support for a three-finger 360Hz touch sampling rate, the screen is more responsive than other phones.
The front camera is housed inside a tiny 2.76mm hole-punch, and this is probably the smallest hole-punch we have ever seen on any other mobile phone. The screen has an adaptive color display which was found in iPhone. It adjusts the screen's color temperature to the color temperature of the ambient light that helps to reduce eye strain.
Given the price tag, we are not expecting too much from the photography section. K40's primary camera doesn't have any optical image stabilizlation. The ultra-wide camera is 8MP and there is a 5MP telephoto macro lens of the same type as the Mi 11. In real life, the K40's main camera take slightly over-exposed photos.
The dynamic range is also not so good and the colors are not vibrant enough. We would rate the camera performance as an average show. The K40 comes with a 4,520mAh battery with software optimization that is pretty good with 33w of charging. It can be fully charged from 0 to 100% in 54 minutes.
The ASUS ZenFone AR has been confirmed at the CES 2017 in Las Vegas and it's a beast in every sense of the term. The ZenFone AR is made with virtual reality and augmented reality in mind; therefore it has built-in support for Google Tango & DayDream as expected. Apart from the insane 8 gigs of RAM, the smartphone is powered by multiple other absolute premium-end hardware specs as well.
A customized Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC with vapour cooling system for AR and VR functionalities
5.7-inch Super AMOLED QHD (1440x2560 pixels) edge-to-edge display with a screen to body ratio of 79%
8GB/6GB RAM
23-megapixel Sony IMX318 camera with TriTech+ autofocus system, dual-PDAF, second-gen Laser Focus, 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS, continuous-focus and 4K video recording
8-megapixel front shooter with f/2.0 aperture and an 85-degree wide angle lens
128GB/256GB of internal storage with hybrid nano SIM/micro-SD card slot
3300mAh battery
USB Type-C, Bluetooth v4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac
Exclusive Asus ZenUI VR 360 degree app support on PhotoCollage, Gallery, and ZenCircle applications
Everything about the Asus ZenFone AR is premium and up to date, except may be the SD 821 chipset. Make no mistake, it is still the most powerful Qualcomm chip till date, but given that the Snapdragon 835 has already been announced and it will be better than the SD 821 in both power-efficiency and performance, Asus may have missed a trick there.

Are you one of the mobile phone users who love to play video games when feeling bored? Although many people play video games on their smartphones, not many companies consider it a mainstream rend. Asus is one of a few companies that design high-end smartphones specifically for gaming. A lot of premium phones are advertised as gaming phones because of their high-powered processor, display design, and they do run games relatively well. However, the Asus ROG phone series is the best when it comes to gaming phone.
The ROG phone and ROG phone 2 were great but the company didn't focus too much on the design before, but what we have now is a relatively much better-designed version of the gamer aesthetic and slick looking phone. The front face is plain black, with two stereo speakers above and below the display, but there is also a 3.5mm audio jack. The front camera is in one corner of the screen which means you get a seamless user experience while playing video games or watching videos on the phone.
The rear side of the phone has a large centered ROG logo that lights up with different colors when Xcode is activated. A small transparent panel shows off the phone's elaborate cooling system and tiny vent to make it cool while playing games. Although, there is only one drawback of having such a glossy background. The phone slides around on most surfaces and leaves fingerprint marks on the cover. The company has used corning Gorilla Glass 6 on the front and Gorilla Glass 3 on the rear side.
The phone is slightly heavy and not for everyone. The main reason for its weight is due to the 6,000mAh battery and cooling system. This isn't a phone for you if you prefer slim sleek designs. Asus has gone with a 6.59-inch 1080x2340 screen, and its biggest advantage is an unprecedented 144Hz refresh rate. Mobile phones are no longer used simply for making phone calls and sending texts. In truth, those are probably the least two common uses for mobile phones today. Instead, people use their mobile devices to work, access social media, browse the Internet, stream video content, and more.
And as most people are always on the go, mobile phones are used everywhere. This fact makes mobile phones incredibly vulnerable, which makes it necessary to have as much protection as possible. A VPN, such as the Surfshark VPN for mobile phones, can keep you and your device protected on the go in the following ways:
Secure Your Data
A VPN provides an insulated avenue through which your online activity travels. The data will not escape this avenue, and no one can get into it. In fact, the avenue is nearly impossible to find. Should a determined hacker find the avenue, the data is encrypted so the hacker will not be able to decrypt it. Fortunately, this helps to keep your private information, bank accounts, and more secure, which is needed when out in public.
Use Secure Connection
When you use a VPN to visit a website, you are not connecting directly to the site. Instead, you are connecting to your VPN's servers that provide a safe connection to the website. This hides your browsing history from others while also masking your physical location.
Maintain Privacy
As your browsing history and information do not get collected, they are not sold to third parties or used against you in any way. What you are doing online is kept protected as well as your physical location. These features can protect you from several undesirable scenarios.
Gain Access
As a VPN does not use your actual location but instead the location of their servers, you are not bound to any location restrictions and censorship. Whether you are an activist who wants to remain anonymous, a sports fan who wishes to view content from other countries, or a Netflix user that wants to binge out on content not available in your area, a VPN can make it happen by making it appear that you are in a location where these things are allowed.
Choosing a VPN for Mobile Phones
When it's time to choose a VPN, you should not do it haphazardly. There are several options available, so you need to know what to look for.
Security
The most significant point of a VPN is to provide you with security, so of course, you want to find one that guarantees that. To do so, you need to find one that does not log its user's activities. Unfortunately, some VPNs do keep logs. This is especially true with some of the free options as selling your information is how they make their money. Read the fine print to ensure that the VPN does not keep logs.
Speed
With our mobile phones being used for work, keeping up with family, browsing the Internet, and more, waiting around for content to load is simply out of the question. Some VPNs that do not have many servers actually slow down your loading speeds. A VPN with at least 1,000 servers in several countries will provide good speeds and access to more international content.
Kill Switch
If your connection to your VPN drops, that VPN needs to sever your Internet connection immediately to prevent any chance of vulnerability. Your privacy and data could be very compromised if your VPN connection suddenly drops, and you have no idea. As you continue to use an unsecured connection, it is open season to any hackers, companies, or governments that rely on public Wi-Fi connections and mobile connections to collect your information.
Instead, you need a VPN that protects you even then. A VPN with a kill switch means that if your connection to the VPN drops, it immediately kills your connection to the Internet. When choosing a VPN, be sure that this is one of the features.
Connections
Most people or households connect to the Internet on more than one device at a time. Some might scroll through social media on their mobile phone while streaming a movie on their smart TV. Both parents and children may be using the Internet on different devices. Or you might go to the coffee shop to work on your laptop while your phone is at your side.
Regardless, it is important that you keep all of your devices protected, even when you are on more than one at a time. A VPN that provides several connections means that you can be sure all of your devices are secure. Try to pick one that allows for at least five connections, but the more, the safer you are.
Ease

Vivo is no longer just another Chinese manufacturer trying to copy Apple; as a matter of fact, it has not only risen as a global smartphone OEM to reckon with, one can go as far as saying that the Chinese company has managed to beat both Samsung and Apple when it comes to introducing true innovation. If you are wondering why anyone would think so, then you probably don't know that Vivo has already showcased the in-display, under the screen fingerprint scanner with its Vivo X20 Plus UD smartphone, that both Apple and Samsung have failed to do, even after repeated attempts by the latter in the last year or so. As if that was not impressive enough, take a look at the leaked shots of this smartphone from Vivo, which will likely be coming in with the in-screen fingerprint scanner and this gorgeous, truly bezel-less display.
Sources are unsure whether this is the Vivo Xplay 7 or not, but it could very well be. It would be really interesting to see if Vivo also packs in a 4K resolution in that beautiful display, just like the rumors had been predicting. If they do, that would make Vivo the only company apart from Sony to have a smartphone with a 4K display. It is quite possible that the upcoming Snapdragon 845 SoC will be powering the device as well, alongside an internal storage capacity of 256GB/512GB. Would you buy this beauty if it became available in your country?

Tips and tricks from Fonehouse.co.uk
Mobile phones are a ubiquitous sight for people to see. We encounter them frequently, and they're used for a wide selection of different tasks. However, how many people actually know how to get the most from their phone?
It's relatively common for people not to understand how to utilise a phone in the best possible way. We presume that they're automatically set up to make our lives as easy as possible, but this isn't always the case. In a lot of cases, you have to really know a trick or two to make sure that your phone is optimised correctly. Sites like Fonehouse have heard many different ideas for how best to try and make the phone the best possible thing it can be, and we're going to be looking at some of them here and now.
Back Up What You Can't Afford To Lose
Music, photos, important business documents. They're all things that we can access without a moment's hesitation, but they're not permanent. If you drop your phone, damage it or expose it to water, you can lose everything. This obviously isn't something that you want to happen, so you need to make sure that you backup anything that you can't afford to lose. It protects all the things that you want to keep in the event of them perhaps not being available to you. Technology is far from perfect after all, and in a world of bugs and faults, there's never been more of a need to stay secure.
Consider A New Browser
A lot of the core apps provided to you by your phone will be pretty useful. However, perhaps it's time to consider something other than Safari for your iPhone. Every browser will offer you a different and possibly better experience. For example, Google Chrome allows users to view tabs that they have open on another device. It's worth taking the time to look around and see what is available to you regarding browsers, and even consider alternatives for other things as well. Perhaps a more specialist reminder application, or a music provider that works for your lifestyle.
Folders Are Your Friend
Trawling through pages of apps can be an absolute chore to try and do. When you're just looking for one application in three or four pages worth, you soon find yourself wishing for an alternative. This is where folders come into play. They're designed to help you sort applications based on their usage and characteristics. They can be and often are your best friends, so it's worth taking the time to stop and look at how you can arrange things.
Use Shortcuts
Shortcuts are designed to help us get to various parts of our phones without having to navigate through hundreds of different menus. A lot of home screens on phones, especially those made by Apple, are designed to make it so that people can get around their phones with ease. Plus, a lot of them can be customised and changed to suit the needs of the people who are using them, so it's perfect for so many different people to use. If you don't use your home screen all that much, you should definitely look into how you can customise it to suit your specific needs and requirements.
Keep It Simple
All things considered, sometimes it's best to keep your phone as simple as possible. The more applications that you have on the phone and the more you try and do at once, the higher the risk of something going wrong. Sometimes the best way to do things is to keep it simple and straightforward. This is achieved by limiting the number of apps you have open, and not pushing the phone too far.
All in all, these are just a few of the different things which you can do to make sure that you are getting the most from your phone. Because we all use our mobiles so often, it is so important that we take the time to make the most of the phones that we have. Despite what we would like to think, our phones aren't actually always set up to make our lives the most convenient that they can be. This requires us to tailor all of the various functions and features of the device to suit our own unique needs and requirements. Only by doing this can we expect to have a phone which is convenient, highly intuitive and attuned to our lives.
In a world where the Nokia 9 PureView sports a penta-camera setup on its back, and even mid-rangers like the upcoming Redmi Note 7 Pro is supposed to carry a 48-mp Sony IMX586 sensor on release, it is just so hard to determine a clear winner these days.
Is it the Apple iPhone XS or the Galaxy S10+ which has the best night mode? Or does the Google Pixels still have the best single-camera you can get your tech-savvy paws on? Well the answer may not surprise anyone who is familiar with the recent releases and smartphone reviews, but to those that have firmly believed Apple, Samsung and Google to be the leaders in smartphone camera department, this will come as a bit of a shock for sure.
The Huawei P30 Pro has by far, the best rear camera setup on a smartphone you can possibly use to snap photos with, as of now. While the Google Pixel 3/Pixel 3 XL's single 12.2-mp rear camera is a runner-up and might even match the four lenses of the Huawei P30 Pro in some aspects, the 40MP + 20MP + 8MP + ToF (Time of Flight) lenses beat the Pixels in low-light performance to such a degree, that it isn't even comparable at this point.
Then there are the added advantages of having a very useful 20MP ultra-wide lens by your side, as well as the 10x optical zooming option, which can be coupled with digital zoom to reach an astounding 50X superzoom from a smartphone!
If you have any doubt regarding the actual picture quality, do check out multiple videos on YouTube that review the Huawei P30 Pro's imaging capabilities and compare it with that of other smartphone cameras. If only it had a better display and a better UI...

Whenever a new cell phone model comes out, people are always amazed by its new features and design. They would immediately check out the price and do their best to come up with the money for it. Sometimes, cellular companies offer installment plans that entice more customers to buy these new cell phone models. Whenever you find yourself doing that, pause for a bit and truly consider if you need a new unit.
The phone you're holding in your hand right now can still function the same way as when you bought it. Cell phone repair today uses advanced technology that it can repair almost all types of damages done to a mobile phone. If you're still not convinced about retaining your old phone, here are some more very convincing reasons why you should:
Save Money
Cell phone manufacturers release several models a year. If you really look hard at its features, you won't find any significant changes from the previous models. Some only have improved camera settings, but do you really need that right now? You could wait another year or two so the camera is even better. By having your current cell phone repaired, you will save hundreds of dollars because phone repairs don't cost anywhere near a new phone.
New cell phone models that are high-end cost around $700 to $999 USD. If you
bought a cell phone only the previous year, it's not really practical to spend
this much money on a new one unless you're a celebrity or a businessman who is
making so much money. However, for regular people with regular jobs, this
amount is simply unrealistic and a waste of good finances. Wanting to have
bragging rights because you bought the newest
phone model will let you end up deep in debt later in life because this
will never stop on just cell phones alone. You will eventually end up buying
more expensive stuff just so you can brag about it.
Save Time
When you have a damaged phone and you send it to the manufacturer, it could take months until they approve a replacement or repair. You should know, though, that not all are approved for either replacement or repair. There are many cases wherein the manufacturer denies claims for repair. Aside from this bad news, you will have wasted a lot of your time communicating with them back, and forth and end up with a damaged phone still. It could sometimes take a few months until things are resolved, and if it isn't, you would have wasted months for nothing.
When you choose to have your unit repaired at a cell phone repair shop, you
will most likely have your phone back after a couple of days. In some cases, it
only takes a few hours or even minutes. You can wait in the repair shop while
they replace a broken glass or replace a damaged screen. Phone repair companies
work fast because they want to give great customer service. However, you need
to be careful when you choose a cell phone repair company because there are
companies that are not trustworthy. Be sure to read customer reviews online on
their social media pages to learn if you're dealing with a reputable company.
Talk to their customers and ask questions, such as how much the service usually
costs and how long it takes.
Reputable phone repair companies will give you a warranty
for the services they have provided you with. They allow a specific amount of
time for you to use your phone and, if the same issue occurs, you can take your
phone back to them and they will repair it again without additional charges.
Most manufacturers only give a one year warranty for a new mobile phone. After
a year, you will have to pay the full amount if you want them to repair your
phone, and these manufacturers usually charge more for repairs than other cell
phone repair shops. Some do not even provide warranty for repairs.
Environmentally-Friendly
When you discard an old phone, it will only add to all the trash
in landfills and at the rate that people are changing their gadgets, it
will only be a matter of time when there will no longer be space for it. Help
the environment by not buying a new phone each year and having your old one
repaired instead.
Conclusion
People are becoming more aware of the fact that new cell phone models are really not as innovative as manufacturers would want them to believe. These manufacturers are spending so much money marketing these "new features," but when you look closely, your old phone already has this feature, or this new feature is not that useful in your daily life anyway. So, have your phone repaired. That way, you'll save a ton of money.

The Smartphone has never been more popular. In the modern age, our phones have become an extension of self, we use them constantly to update, navigate and traverse the modern landscape. We check the traffic, monitor the weather and use GPS to make our way around. According to an article published in Tech World there are up to five billion cell phone users across the globe - that's a lot of handsets. Because most modern smartphones are so delicate, most people choose to protect their phone with a case. The trouble is most of these cases are made from environmentally detrimental materials. With over a billion new handsets sold every year, that adds up to a big pile of waste heading to the landfill or even worse, the ocean.
Thankfully, there are better options out there. Many proactive companies have begun to offer greener, earth-friendly phone accessories. We've picked our two favourites and outlined the benefits of their products.

Phone notifications can really be annoying at times. Sometimes, all you want to do is have a peaceful nap or play your favourite online casino games at online casinos sa or anywhere without any disturbances. The great thing about Android phones is that they have various tools that you can use to turn off notifications. Below, we list a few of the ways to turn off phone notifications on Android.
Screen your calls with Do Not Disturb mode
Activating Do Not Disturb keeps your phone from giving you notifications. However, we know that now and again, you may really be tempted to check your phone for any new notifications. Excitingly, this feature allows you to let only the most important calls and text messages to come through. This means you won't get disturbed by messages or calls that are not really very important.
Enable 'VIP' alerts for email messages
We are human and now and again, curiosity gets the best of us and we are tempted to check our phones, even when we are in important meetings. There is a solution, though, for allowing only the most important emails to give you flash alerts. All you have to do is make use of Gmail's Priority Inbox. You can turn it on or off, as required, in order to determine which email messages actually give you notifications.
Turn off unneeded lock-screen notifications
It can really be frustrating to get disturbed by your phone when the phone's lock screen lights up. By default, you will have to check the display in order to see what's going on. At times, it's really nothing important, which leaves you annoyed. Well, Android has a solution for this. You simply have to minimize your lock-screen notifications, or completely turn them off. This feature allows you to select only the notifications that are important to you to light up the screen. If you prefer, you can turn off all notifications. But if you are a gambler, don't turn off your best sports betting websites app notification for latest sports updates. This feature is quite handy as it means fewer disturbances.
Thanks to the numerous advancements in technology, mobile phones can now do many impressive things, apart from the standard calling and texting they were initially made for. However, one of the biggest issues which the manufacturers have failed to find a way around is battery life for these devices.
Although major brands always try to install longer-lasting batteries on their phones, taking care of them doesn't just stop there. Some activities can be carried out by the users, which tend to drain the battery quite fast. And there is nothing worse than looking down on your phone and realizing that it is running out the juice.
Fortunately, there are a few things that you can do to boost the battery life, hence extending the time the phone remains on. Before you start becoming desperate searching for a charger, here are five tips that will ensure that your phone battery lasts longer:
Mind your apps
Certain apps are notorious for being battery guzzlers, especially those that are heavy on graphics. Whenever you notice your battery is acting up, you should go to your smartphone's settings and identify the battery usage for each app.
The phone will always show you how an app is using up the juice, so if one of them tends to use too much of it, there are three options available. If uninstalling the app altogether isn't part of the options that you have, then you can try to stop it from being used in the background, or you can force it to stop.
Lose the location services
It is always easy to sell & trade in your phone online if you feel like the battery starts to act up. However, if you intend to keep it, you may have to consider losing the location services as they eat up a lot of your juice.
The use of the location or GPS feature on your phone is super helpful in finding out where you are and finding out your next step if you're lost. However, it is a heavy battery drainer, so you have to have them turned off whenever you don't need the service.
Reduce push notifications
Getting an instant notification from apps and your favorite websites ensures that you stay connected at all times. Who wouldn't want to be notified if their post on Facebook received a comment or like?
However, granting apps and sites the permission to send to you push notifications is a sneaky way to drain your battery; hence, you should restrict this from happening, and whenever you're expecting certain notifications, you should visit the website or app directly.
Avoid extremes of heat and cold
At some point, your phone might get too hot due to excessive usage or too cold when exposed to certain temperatures. The best thing to do is to try and regulate the temperature of the phone, lest the battery becomes damaged.
If it is too cold, you should consider taking it to a warmer place, and if it becomes too hot, you should remove it from direct sunlight or stop using it for a moment.
Turn the Wi-Fi connection off
Whenever your Wi-Fi is turned on, it'll always be on the lookout for new hotspots, and as you would imagine, this tends to eat up the battery. Only turn on the Wi-Fi on when you need it.
Conclusion
Having a poor battery can make your phone quite unreliable. Luckily, you can always sell & trade-in your phone online for a better device.
You are thinking about purchasing a refurbished phone so that you can enjoy mobile casinos online. Before you are going out and purchase the cheapest refurbished phone you can find, there are a couple of things you need to know.
It is important to reconsider. There are many reasons why you should not consider buying a refurbished phone, and why you should rather spend a little more money and purchase a phone that will give you value for money. These are just five of the reasons why you should not buy a refurbished phone, ever.
Things can go wrong with the phone
Because a refurbished phone has been used before, things can easily go wrong with the phone. It can happen the same day you bought the phone, or it can happen a week after you purchase it.
Normally a refurbished phone had one or another fault on that was repaired. But, it won't stay repaired for long. Why is the phone refurbished in the first place? This is something to think about.
Warranties aren't good with refurbished phones
With a new phone, you will get a warranty of between 12 to 24 months. However, no matter what you will not get the same amount of warrantee with a refurbished phone. You will be lucky if you are getting a 6-month warranty. Some refurbished phones don't even have a warranty on them. Meaning that you are purchasing it as-is.
This is dangerous to purchase a refurbished phone if it doesn't have a good warranty on it. There might be a reason why the warranty isn't long or why there isn't a warranty in the first place.
You will have fewer worries with a new phone
With a refurbished phone, you will not know when the phone is going to break. Even the battery of the phone won't be as good as a new phone's battery. This means that you will always worry if the phone is going to last through the month or not. Only people that have owned refurbished phones before can tell you that you will always worry about the phone and wait for it to breaks.
The moment that you have a new phone, you will not have any worries at all. You will know that the phone will be in perfect condition and that it will last for years to come. Or until you let the phone fall and the screen breaks.
The phone might be damaged and you didn't know that
Most of the time, a refurbished phone is damaged or was damaged before it was refurbished and repaired. Meaning that even if you can't see it, the phone isn't in top condition. In most cases, a refurbished phone looks new, but it doesn't mean that it is really in the good condition it seems to be in.
The result is that the moment that you are getting the phone, you might realize that there are problems with it. Let you realize that it was just a waste of money. And, then you can't do anything about it. Most refurbished phones aren't replaceable by the business where you have purchased it from.
It will not feel like a new phone to you
You can ask any person that has purchased a refurbished phone before. Even if this is a new phone for you, and there is nothing on the phone that will remind you that the phone is refurbished, it will not feel the same. With a new phone, it feels just different, then purchasing a refurbished phone.
You might always wonder about the previous owner of the phone. Was there something uploaded to the phone that might gather all your personal information. Or, you might be wondering if the phone was stolen or not.
For playing mobile casinos online, you might consider purchasing a refurbished phone. It is cheaper and you can use the money you have left for gambling. However, these 5 reasons shown you that this might not be such a good idea to purchase a refurbished phone. You will not know if the phone is 100% in perfect condition, or if there was a screen replacement before. If someone has damaged the phone, that is repaired in such a way that you can purchase it. You need to remember that there is a good reason why refurbished phones don't have a long warranty. Because these phones can't really be trusted on the long run.

The upcoming Realme XT pro seems to like be pretty much like the Realme XT, which is not surprising. This includes a 6.4-inch AMOLED display panel with a Full HD+ resolution. For the security purpose, the device is using an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics. The battery is rated at 4,000mAh with support for 30W VOOC fast charging from the 20W we are used to seeing from other Realme devices. It is unclear if the smartphone uses a pop-up camera for the selfies as we have it on the Realme X, or there will be a different housing.
Realme has come a long way since early 2018 as the Xiamoi subbrand. The company focused on budget-friendly phones and then moved to the higher-end smartphones that have proved to be quite successful so far. Realme launched its first flagship device last year, known as Realme X2 Pro, and now they have launched their first 5G smartphone - the Realme X50 Pro 5G.
The Realme X50 Pro 5G has an all-metal casing with a quad-camera system on the rear side along with a bezel-less display. On the front, you can see a dual-camera cut-out. This may seem like a repeated design but maybe the company didn't want to do much experiment with the look. The back cover is available in Rust Red and Moss Green colors. The phone seems pretty thick for many, but the additional thickness may not bother you as it feels quite comfortable in the hands. There is a pair of front-facing speakers that are pretty good in terms of quality. The phone has an extra in-display optical fingerprint scanner for security.
The Realme X50 is one of the first devices in the market to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. The processing chip is launched back in December of 2019 and offers almost 25% greater performance than its predecessor Snapdragon 855, and even more power-efficient than the Snapdragon 855. The Adreno 650 GPU follows a similar approach with a 20% faster image rendering when compared to the older version.
The device also comes with a charging brick that lets you charge your phone from 0 to 100 percent in less than 40 minutes. Leave it on charge for ten minutes and you are good to go for a few hours. The phone tends to heat up a bit when charging but it cools down pretty quickly. The only con you can say here is not-so-long battery life. You may have to charge your phone more than once in a day if you are a heavy user.
