Microsoft launched its first Smart augmented reality Glass, called "HoloLens" few days ago along with Windows 10. Oppo has announced three phones under the Reno 2 brand name after 10x zoom camera phone released this year. All three devices the Reno 2, Reno 2 Z, and Reno 2 F are launching in India first and have four-facing cameras in various configuration. The early Reno with 10x zoom is still the fastest Reno in the series with its processing chip - Snapdragon 855. The Reno 2, is more like a sequel of original Reno that sits right at the top of what you can expect from a budget-friendly smartphone. It has Snapdragon 730 processing chip, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. The device has a screen display of 6.5-inchd with dynamic AMOLED display pale. It uses the same screen technology as the Galaxy S10 and Note 10. The Z and F both have quad-camera system including a 48MP primary camera. The only difference between the Z and F is that Z uses Sony's sensor whereas the F goes for Samsung's cheaper sensor.

Quad-camera array isn't a new thing anymore. It features an 8MP camera lens, a 16mm-equivalent wide-angle module, a 26mm camera using 48MP sensor, a 13MP camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor. It all adds up to 5x optical zoom with software do the remaining work. All the phones have USB-C, flash charging, a headphone jack. To keep them working all day long, the battery is 4,000mAh. Modular sends in a neatly packed box that contains an auxiliary cable, a USB cable for charging the headphone, a quick start manual and of course, the headphones themselves. Depending on the color that you chose, the headphones will either come in rose gold, gunmetal or black. It doesn't contain a whole lot but the included auxiliary cable is a nice little touch that users will appreciate.

After using it for some time, we have come to the conclusion that the Mod-1 wireless Bluetooth headset by Modular is an excellent pair of headphones in almost every possible way. Aside from packing in more features that nearly every other headset in the price range, it also produces surprisingly crisp sound for the price you pay for these. Add all that to the fact that you can basically wear these around for hours due to the lightweight and the dependable battery life, and it becomes very hard not to recommend the Modular Mod-1 to anybody who is looking to buy a pair of quality Bluetooth headsets without breaking the bank.

Build Quality and Design

In terms of build quality, the PuroQuiet headphones stand out from the bunch, for all the right reasons. The aluminum ear cups (blue/pink/grey) and headband were a pleasant surprise to find, since these PuroQuiet headphones are designed specifically for children and young teenagers. In other words, it's colorful to look at, but feels premium to hold, which is a rarity, as plastic dominates this category.

Sound Quality and Active Noise Cancellation

A pair of headphones are only as good as they sound, and the PuroQuiet On-Ear Active Noise Cancelling Headphones do sound quite good. It truly sounds like their claim of less than 1% harmonic distortion was an honest one after all! However, there's  really more to it than just that.

It doesn't matter how rich the media source and the output device is, if the user cannot hear the notes in the same quality and purity, in which they were meant to be heard. The PuroQuiet active noise cancelling headphones solves this issue and makes nearly everything sound even better than the specs suggest.

When the ANC switch is flipped On, a combination of 82% noise isolation at 1 kHz, and active noise cancellation that can lower noise by 22 decibels, does a surprisingly good job of amplifying the audio experience. Your child will get to appreciate the quality of their music and media, even when they are in loud surroundings.

Designed to Safeguard Children from Damaging their Ears

Parents will be glad to know that all PuroQuiet headphones are designed to protect children from hearing loss, which is far too common today, than it should be. At no point will the maximum volume go past 85 decibels, which is well within the limits of safety, and is not known to cause any damage to human ears.

Should You Buy One for Your Kid?

If he/she is looking for a new pair of on-ear headphones, the PuroQuiet wireless ANC headphones are a great choice, especially for the price. The pair feels lightweight, in spite of being constructed chiefly with metal; something which creates an excellent first impression. Admittedly, that advantage does not apply anymore, but this powerful little machine is still one of the most functional, and yet simple portable blenders of its kind. Simplicity, Portability and Functionality

 

BlendJet designed the portable blender to help us make quick smoothies, shakes and baby food on the go; all of which the little machine is perfectly capable of getting done in or under the one-and-a-half-minute mark (per cup). The single button, press and release system makes blending stuff pretty much as simple as it can possibly get, but do keep in mind that this is not a big, full-sized kitchen blender and don't treat it as such.

If you put all your ingredients and ice into it at the same time and in the wrong order, don't expect the hand blender to perform in the same way that a large kitchen blender would. Make no mistake, the BlendJet portable blender can most certainly crush ice with ease, thanks to the 5V motor and its 6-point, 304 stainless steel blades. However, things will take significantly longer to get done, if you pile too much of everything into the cup, without following any of the instructions.

On the other hand, when we did follow the instructions stated by them quite clearly on the website and inside the manual, BlendJet's classic, portable blender functioned admirably. We have listed down a few tips for your convenience next. Don't learn it the hard way like we did!

• On full charge, the blender can be used for blending 10 - 12 cups, so at least charge it for an hour before starting

• The main trick is to add all liquids and semi-liquids (water, milk, juice, pulpy juice, fresh cream, etc.) necessary for the recipe, into the blender first

• Another neat little trick is to simply turn the blender upside down after filling and closing the lid

• This allows the blades to instantly reach their maximum speed due to a lack of friction

• Now when you put it right side up again, the fully powered blades will blend through, a lot faster

• If you cut your fruits and veggies into smaller pieces, the blender will work faster through them

• When possible, blend ice separately and do so with a lot of water

• To avoid accidental overloads, pay attention and leave some room above before starting the blades

Should You Buy It?

The answer completely depends on your usage, rather than the product itself. The real question is, do you have use for a portable blender? If that's an affirmative then the answer would have to be a confident yes from our side as well!

There are hardly any products out there that can outmatch the original BlendJet Portable Blender, especially considering the price-to-performance ratio. This means that BlendJet is the perfect choice, if you could benefit from a portable and powerful hand blender. The Moto G8 Plus is the best possible experience at a budget price in the G-series. The G-series phones are considered the best inexpensive phones of the years now. The Moto G8 Plus has more premium features such as a versatile camera, stereo speakers, minimal bezel, and better battery management than its predecessor Moto G7 plus. Due to the rising competition in the same category, we have seen some premium features coming to budget phones. The latest phone brings in a 48MP triple camera system with fast charging as the main selling USB. But is it enough?

The Moto G8 is priced at $310. It has a plastic body and available in two colors - cosmic blue and crystal pink. The back panel has a gradient-like glossy finish, and the logo aligned in the middle. There is a volume button and unlock button at the right side, which the left side has a hybrid SIM card slot. On the top edge, there is a microphone and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The G8 plus is water repellent, but it is not the same as IP67 rated phone, so keeping it away from the water is always a good strategy.

Overall, there is nothing extraordinary about the design. The Moto G8 Plus has a slightly bigger screen than the G7 Plus at 6.3-inches. It is an IPS LCD panel with a Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) resolution and a U-shaped notch up top. The screen has 19:9 aspect ratio, which is decent for watching videos, as they're often in that ratio. The screen is topped with a layer of Panda Glass which is similar to the popular Corning glass solution for protection against drops. Moto G8 Plus is powered by a 4,000mAh battery, which is a pretty decent capacity even at the low-price tier of phones. You can last for a one day on a single charge with normal usage that includes being active on social media. The phone supports 15W fast charging and can fully charge in 150 minutes.

The game currently boasts a 4.4/5 rating on the Google Play Store, so it's clear that those who are playing it have enjoyed it so far.

Engaging Directives and City Names

After initially downloading the app, which is available for free for both iOS and Android, the first play through of the game does what all good games should do: it gives you a basic idea of what to do and how to best navigate around the first few challenges. The game uses a helpful, directive style that encourages you to get your city ready for the wider world and the battles you will soon undertake against other cities.

Directive openings to games can be frustrating if you're the type who likes diving into a new title, but the tutorial here really does help with an understanding of Vikings' core mechanics. You're even allowed to release any frustration as the directives demand that you attack another city before you have finished with the rundown (don't worry, no warriors were lost in our first battle!). Serious Graphics and Light-hearted Animations

As for the important parts, the game runs smoothly, with stand-out graphics that brilliantly highlight the level of detail required to enjoy the game. The fun little animations of your mercenaries and slayers practising their attacking moves also add an element of light-hearted entertainment. Perhaps more importantly, the screen doesn't feel crowded when you're playing and the buttons you need, including the all-important global map that helps you to see where you will next pillage from, are easy to keep in sight at all times.

Vikings: War of Clans allows for a sensible balance between being able to concentrate on getting your city to a pristine level so you can produce resources through your farms, forges and lumber mills, and allowing you the time needed to train up an army so that you can enjoy interacting with other players.

If you're keen on strategy games and have an interest in anything viking, or you simply just get a kick out of wiping out your enemies' cities and destroying the hard efforts of others (don't pretend that doesn't apply to you, we've all got a thrill from it!), this is definitely an MMO game worth your time in 2017.
