Samsung is working on bringing Lollipop 5.0 update to all its users. Today, Official Galaxy S5 official Lollipop 5.0 OTA update is Rolling-out in Spain to all unlocked SM-G900F devices. The same update will reach more European countries and users very soon during the Next month.
So far, the Lollipop update has endowed the Galaxy S5 with a new lockscreen and card notifications, priority mode, heads-up notifiers, a clipboard tool, a new fingerprint lock screen, improved fingerprint reading, and more goodies - think Material Design apps and a speedy new ART runtime.
About 2 months ago, Samsung Poland has confirmed that Galaxy Note 2 will gett the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, after that Samsung Denmark official website listed the Note 2 as "planned for Lollipop Update".
Today, Samsung Mobile Spain has officially confirmed AGAIN via its twitter account the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop if nothing happened during the update process.
Denying what some un-confirmed reports about "Samsung Gulf" denying the update for the 2-years old flagship which are spreading around the web after so many confirmations from different regional firms. The flagship is indeed capable of running Google's latest Android 5.0 Lollipop smoothly but it's up to Samsung to decide that for better User Experience.
