LTE-Enabled LG Optimus Running on Jelly Bean announced

More and more devices are now upgrading or are coming out with the latest Jelly Bean and the most recent would be the LG Optimus LTE II. This is a new phone that was launched by LG at the MWC and its predecessors are the Optimus LTE and LTE II.


SK Telecom will introduce the phone today in South Korea. This will benefit from the latest improvements and additions from the latest Android Jelly Bean update.


With the new Optimus LTE III, LG decided to keep most of the key elements of its predecessors. Compared to the Optimus LTE II, the new device's dimensions are almost similar. It measures 131.7 X68.2 X9.6 mm. It also has the same screen size and the same IPS display, which is capable of displaying a resolution of 1280 X 720 backed by an Adreno 225 graphics unit.


It has a 1.5 Ghz dual core Snapdragon processor. It also sports a bunch of features that are standard for smartphones today like NFC, 1080p video recording with its 8 MP rear camera and a 1.3 MP front facing camera. It has 2 GB of RAM and an MicroSD card slot that supports up to 32 Gb space. The device is powered by a 2,500 mAh battery so it should get most people through the day without charging. In addition, the device comes in black and white.
