The new Google Nexus 7 tablet , manufactured by Asus, will sure keep everyone on their toes with its expected date of release. According to some reports, it apparently features a full HD display (1920x1080), a big upgrade from the previous tablet's generation. Moreover, the new Nexus 7 is said to collaborate with Qualcomm for its chipset. A quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset looks feasible at this point.

According to Michael McConnel, the move to Qualcomm from Tegra was largely based on competitive cost of the Qualcomm Snapdragon and their "decision to single-source" essential elements to make logistics more streamlined and also to create a matching interface.

The Nexus 7 is popular among enthusiasts and those who are looking for true Android performance. It is believed that there are about 6 million users who bought the device and the introduction of the Nexus 7 will surely increase this current figure for this year. It is also possible that the new Nexus 7 will be launched on mid-May and there are also rumors of a new Nexus 10, made by Samsung. However, there are no reports yet to back that information.
