Samsung to launch Galaxy S4 in India on April 26

Samsung has started sending out invites to the press for the Galaxy S4 launch in the Indian market. Samsung will unveil their Galaxy S flagship device on April 26, Friday with sales starting within the next few days.

Galaxy S4 has an internal memory of 16GB, which can be expanded up to 64GB, and has 2GB RAM. Powered by a 2600 mAh battery, its battery is 20 per cent larger than that of the S III. Running Android 4.2.2 OS, the Galaxy S4 has a 13 megapixel auto focus camera with flash and zero shutter lag. It has a 2 megapixel front camera with Full HD recording @30fps with zero shutter lag.

Its dual camera feature lets you shoot with the front and rear cameras simultaneously. When capturing moments, users can choose from a variety of frame effects which blend the two pictures naturally and also adjust the size of the small picture inside the big one. Users can select 8 different ways to combine the two photos taken by the front camera and the rear camera.

Samsung is rumoured to price the Galaxy S4 competitively around the Rs. 40,000 mark to take on HTC's One that will go on sale at around the same time.
