Treyarch has officially announced the next Call of Duty, the "Call of Duty: Black Ops II". The official site for the game went live yesterday on May,1 but today we got the trailer. The Game will be officially released on 13.11.2012 worldwide.

The new game takes place in the year 2025 during the second Cold War. You play as David Mason, the son of Alex Mason from the previous game, although there are flashback portions that take place in 1980 where you will also get to play as Alex Mason. Your main objective in the game will be to hunt down someone called Raul Menendez. Also, interestingly, and spoiler alert if you have not played the previous game, but Frank Woods, who supposedly got blown up in the previous game, is now somehow back in the new one.

Target has released a $1 pre-order/reservation card which confirms the release date to be on November 13, 2012. The will hit all popular gaming platforms PlayStation, Xbox and PC by that date.

Electronic Arts accidentally showed a banner in their Origin digital web store for the 3rd part popular crysis series "Crysis 3", The game is a work in progress and coming soon.

There were two options of the Crysis 3 Limited Edition game mentioned for Xbox 360 and PC, so it is still unclear if there will be a PlayStation 3 version as well.

EA comment on this leak was:

"The best kept secret in shooters just cannot be contained. Stay tuned for more information on April 16."

The latest patch has gone live for Bethesda hot-selling role-playing game The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, but as to be expected, it is only available for PC players. For those playing on the Xbox 360 and PS3, the game remains at version 1.4. PS3 players in particular still have reason to be sore because that version still has some memory bugs. The PS3 version of the game game under increasing scrutiny.

First, It has the new name. it will be called "Play Station Orbis", it is not yet clear if sony will use this Name to market the 4th generation console or "Orbis" is just a codename for the product on the development stages. The word "Orbis" itself, from Latin, means circle, or ring, or even orbit.

The Console specifications leaked shows its CPU and GPU type:

• AMD Southern Islands GPU

These processors enable the console to display Orbis games at a resolution up to 4096x2160 and in 3D as well, as Sony looking to bring 3D-Gaming support to the PS4. Sadly, PlayStation Orbis will drop the ability to play PS3 games which is sad for playstation fans who will have to purchase all their favorite games again to be able to run it on the Orbis.

Ubisoft has just released the first trailer for Assassin's Creed 3, the next part of the Assassin creed series, The Game is set for release on October 31, 2012. The game will launch on Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii U. The publisher does not make it clear, but we would not be surprised if the PC and Wii U versions arrive after the PS3 and Xbox 360 ones. After a Massive Success of the COD:MW3. Today, Activision confirmed that a new Call of Duty game will be coming during 2012. COD The popular First-Person shooting Game that all gamers are addicted to it will set a another new records in saled this year too.

This comes as no surprise since the franchise has seen new titles annually and Modern Warfare 3 has made over 1 billion dollars. However, No information on the title was revealed. Previously, reports suggested that Activision may be prepping Black Ops 2, but that has not been confirmed yet.

HTC could be the first company outside Sony to offer PlayStation-certified mobile devices, according to the latest leaks, bringing titles previously limited to handsets like the XPERIA Play to future HTC phones and tablets.

The deal could be announced as early as Mobile World Congress later this month, with full certification in the second half of the year. Sony confirmed it was in negotiations with other firms for PlayStation gaming in late 2011. So we Might see more PlayStation certificated phones in 2012.

Looks like the PlayStation Vita OS will no be limited to that device. Sony is looking into porting the Vita OS onto smartphones and tablets, Not just this, but Sony also looking into porting current popular Smartphones apps to the Vita platform. Vita OS has been designed by Sony to be expandable and can be used for powering smartphones and tablets.

Sony deputy president Kunimasa Suzuki said that they will be putting in energy in building up the PlayStation Suite for this very purpose. They may not be in a hurry to port it over on to other platforms right now but it is certainly something they could do down the line.
