After selling over 150 million units worldwide since it went on sale almost 13 years ago, the old PlayStation 2 legacy is now finally making an exit. According to Famitsu, Sony has stopped shipping the console to retailers in Japan.

The PlayStation 2 went on sale in Japan back on March 4, 2000, and was a tremendous success for the company. The popularity of this console ended up killing Sega's Dreamcast console and even Microsoft's original Xbox and Nintendo's GameCube didn't stand much chance against Sony's juggernaut.

PS2 is the most popular game console in the world, it also has one of the biggest library of games for any platform out there.

The GTA series developer, Rockstar Studios, has just released a new trailer for their upcoming game GTA V (aka GTA 5). The video does not feature any gameplay sequences but gives a look at the general setting of the game and story.

GTA V will take place in the fictional location called Los Santos in San Andreas. It will be Rockstar's biggest open world game yet and feature three new protagonists, all of whom will be playable. The three characters have different stories that intertwine as the game progress and eventually you will be switching between the characters as they work together to accomplish a single goal.

The famous Games studio, Rockstar, has revealed some details about its upcoming Grand Theft Auto V aka "GTA 5" blockbuster in the latest issue of Gameinformer magazine. For starters, there are going to be three main characters in the game for us to play with.

Yes, Rockstar is betting high with GTA V by putting three protagonists. Using a new game mechanic, you'll be even able to switch between characters while on a mission.

As for the characters themselves Michael, Trevor and Franklin. Michael is a former bank buster in his early 40s giving up his retirement to earn some extra cash. Also in his forties is Trevor, a seasoned criminal and ex-military pilot. Lastly, there's Franklin, who is in his mid-twenties and is the street hustler of the three.

Rockstar says that Los Santos, the imaginary city where the action is based, is the biggest world the studio has created yet. Additionally, there will be more means of transport than ever including a wider variety of cars, bikes (dirt bikes, road bikes, mountain bikes, BMX bikes), helicopters, planes, ATVs, trucks and even jet skis too.

Rockstar's 5th version of the Grand Theft Auto game series will launch during the Spring of 2013. GTA V (aka GTA 5) will be released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles around that time according to a leaked photo of a retail display.

A GTA V fansite in Poland obtained photos of an upcoming retail display, inviting customers to pre-order the game, and mentioned the release date "Sprint 2013".

From the leaked posters and Photos, it looks like the PC version will be a little delayed, after the Xbox and PS3 release.
