Moto Nexus 6: 5.9" QHD Display, 3200 mAh Battery, Dual Stereo Speakers

Moto Nexus 6

The Motorola Nexus 6 is Real, we have the Specs, the Design and the release date (October, 15th).

As the rumors have suggested, the Motorola-made Nexus 6 will look like a larger Moto X, complete with the same aluminum frame as Motorola's new flagship. It's also said to have a volume rocker and lock button closer to the middle of the side for easier access and black front-facing stereo speakers.

In terms of specs, we're told to expect a 5.9-inch 2560x1440 display, 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, 2-megapixel front-facing shooter and a "3200+ mAh" battery. The Nexus 6 will run Android L, which is said to be Android 5.0, and include support for Motorola's Turbo Charger.

The design of the new Moto X is a nice evolution from the original Moto X, especially with the aluminum ring around its outside, so it's nice to hear that the new Nexus is expected to feature the same design. That 5.9-inch display is sure to be a turn off for some folks, though, and it's said that there's been no credible info to suggest that a smaller version is in the works. Good thing that the Nexus 5 will likely see Android L/5.0 as well.
