New renders of the OnePlus 12 have leaked online

OnePlus is expected to announce their next flagship phone soon in the form of the OnePlus 12. Now thanks to a collaboration with @OnLeaks and MySmartPrix, they have shared renders of the upcoming handset on their website, giving us a glimpse as to what the phone's design could look like.

Now, this isn't the first time the OnePlus 12's renders have leaked, but apparently the new renders show an updated look that are allegedly based on a prototype of the phone. For the most part, the overall design looks similar to the previous leak. The main change here would be to the camera module.

Previously, the OnePlus 12 renders showed a triple camera cutout on the back, but the new renders (which you can see above) show four circular cutouts. This doesn't mean that the phone will have a quad camera setup, but it is speculated that the fourth circular cutout that wasn't present in the previous renders could be used for a laser sensor for better depth perception and autofocusing.

The phone is rumored to come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also pack 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,400mAh battery. OnePlus hasn't confirmed when the phone will launch, but it is rumored to take place in December with a China launch first, followed by a global launch in January or February of 2024.
