Oppo Reno 2 Review – A phone with premium look and a lots of cameras
Oppo has announced three phones under the Reno 2 brand name after 10x zoom camera phone released this year. All three devices the Reno 2, Reno 2 Z, and Reno 2 F are launching in India first and have four-facing cameras in various configuration. The processing power of these phone are also different from each other. The top-end Reno 2 isn't as high end as its predecessor flagship smartphones.
The early Reno with 10x zoom is still the fastest Reno in the series with its processing chip - Snapdragon 855. The Reno 2, is more like a sequel of original Reno that sits right at the top of what you can expect from a budget-friendly smartphone. It has Snapdragon 730 processing chip, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. The device has a screen display of 6.5-inchd with dynamic AMOLED display pale. It uses the same screen technology as the Galaxy S10 and Note 10. The Z and F both have quad-camera system including a 48MP primary camera. The only difference between the Z and F is that Z uses Sony's sensor whereas the F goes for Samsung's cheaper sensor.
Quad-camera array isn't a new thing anymore. It features an 8MP camera lens, a 16mm-equivalent wide-angle module, a 26mm camera using 48MP sensor, a 13MP camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor. It all adds up to 5x optical zoom with software do the remaining work. All the phones have USB-C, flash charging, a headphone jack. To keep them working all day long, the battery is 4,000mAh. An optical in-display fingerprint sensor keeps the security intact whereas the phone runs on ColorOS 6.1.
