Samsung pushes Tizen to 2013 to focus on Windows Phone 8

Samsung has for a long time planned to replace its own smartphone platform "Bada" with Tizen OS, Tizen was known as "MeeGo" before being ditched by Nokia that preferred Windows Phone OS. While many of us hoped to see the first Tizen-running phone from Samsung this year, it seems like Samsung is going to be a bit too busy for that.

Instead of Releasing the First Tizen smarthphone in 2012, Samsung will be focusing on the development of Android devices, as well as on smartphones running Microsoft's upcoming Windows Phone 8. Samsung decided to push Tizen to Next Year 2013.
