Vivo's new V30 Lite is an affordable mid-range smartphone

The price of flagship phones in recent years have gone up quite a bit where we're talking about paying over $1,000 for a smartphone that we would only use for a couple of years. If you'd rather not pay that much for a smartphone that you probably won't be using for a long time, then Vivo's new V30 Lite could be worth checking out.

This is a brand new mid-range handset from the Chinese maker. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset and will come with 12GB of RAM, which is quite substantial for a mid-ranger. It will also pack 256GB of storage along with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

In the camera department, the Vivo V30 Lite will come with a triple camera setup which includes a 64MP main shooter with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP depth sensor, and will be accompanied by a 50MP selfie camera. The Vivo V30 Lite will also come with a 4,800mAh battery with support for 44W charging speeds, an IP54 rating, and 5G connectivity.

As for pricing, the Vivo V30 Lite will be priced at around $530. For now, the handset seems to be only available in Mexico and it is unclear when or whether or not it will be hitting global markets.
