It seems Battlefield 3 has stolen Call of Duty thunder, But Activision is not going to give up, So here comes another trailer for the game.

But this is no ordinary trailer. It features live-action video with notable actors such as Sam Worthington, who plays a veteran gamer and Jonah Hill, who plays a newbie.

The video is actually pretty well made and not as cheesy as such videos usually tend to be. There is even a cameo in the end by American basketball player, Dwight Howard.

The first trailer for the much-anticipated Grand Theft Auto V has been revealed, with the action again taking place in California in the fictional city of Los Santos. Rockstar games began teasing the title last month, prompting a huge batch of leaks and rumors about just exactly what we could expect.

Among the rumors, we have heard that you will be able to play as multiple characters, though talk of Rockstar using Los Angeles rather than its fictional counterpart obviously has not panned out. We are also yet to see the final line-up of cars you will be able to drive.

Hot on the heels of the PlayStation 3 price cut comes the news of a new cut-price Nintendo Wii. But the new price tag is not the only feature, as this new cheaper Wii will also be considerably smaller than the current model.

The new Wii features a horizontal design that sits flat on your table and is barely wider than the slot loading DVD drive on the front. Unfortunately, this new Wii loses the ability to work with GameCube games and accessories.

The new Wii will be available in a Family Edition, which will contain the new console, the Wii Remote Plus controller, nunchuck accessory and copies of Wii Sports and Wii Party. The current Wii will be discontinued upon the launch of the new one.

Sony had some good news for prospective PS3 buyers at Gamescom yesterday. The five year-old but still going strong console is receiving a healthy $50 price cut, with the new prices being $249 for the 160GB version and $299 for the 320GB version. They have also launched a special edition inFAMOUS 2 bundle that comes with the 320GB model along with the copy of the game and a 30-day PlayStation Plus subscription for $299.

Also announced at that event is a new cut price version of the PSP. The PSP E-1000, as it is called, has a sexy new matte black finish and slightly new design but it loses out on some features to get that new €99.99 (RRP) price. There is now just a single loudspeaker instead of two and no microphone but most importantly, there is no Wi-Fi built-in anymore.
