Xperia


A New Image has been leaked for the Sony LT29i, codenamed Xperia Hayabusa. The images confirm a very close resemblance to the Japan-bound, LTE-capable Xperia GX, save for the lack of the FeliCa logo under the LED flash and the different chrome rim around the phone.

We've seen leaked images of the Xperia Hayabusa before, it's rumored to feature an HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display sized at 4.55 inches, 1GB RAM, a dual-core 1.5 GHz processor with an Adreno 320 GPU and a 13 MP camera. The Xperia GX, which was already unveiled as a Japan-exclusive, is similar but features LTE, a 4.6" display, and is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Krait processor with Adreno 225 GPU.

Soy Xperia

 

Sony's new Xperia line is now available in the United States via the company's stores and its website. The Xperia S comes in black and white and will set you back $559.99, the Xperia P comes in black, red and silver and costs $479.99, while the Xperia U comes in Black/Pink, Black/White and White/Yellow variants for $299.99.

 

All these are all prices for unlocked smartphones and you don't need to sign any kind of contract.

 


Sony Xperia XL


The Sony Xperia SL (LT26ii) is due to launch later this year and will basically be an Xperia S refresh. According to the reports, the handset is expected to sport an overclocked 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 chipset (MSM8260) and new colours.


The leaked press image (above) supposedly shows the Sony Xperia SL in its new colours pastel pink and what looks like blue/violet.

Xperia S


The Sony Xperia S is one of the hottest Android devices from Sony, It was released with Gingerbread 2.3 but Now Sony is updating its Android flagship to Android Ice Cream Sandwich.


Xperia S


Opera S users is getting the ICS version 4.0.4 and it comes with resizable widgets and better lock screen. The OTA update weighs around 200MB so you'd better make sure you're connected to a solid Wi-Fi network before starting it.



Sony OLED

 

Sony has developed a 9.9-inch flexible OLED panel and announced it at SID 2012 ( Similar to Samsung YOUM Technology) which took place from June 3 to 8, in the US.The pixel count, pixel pitch and resolution of the panel are 960 x 540, 228μm and 111ppi, respectively. Its thickness is 110μm.


The screen uses white OLED backlight, which is then filtered through Red, Green, Blue and White color filters (Sony's WhiteMagic display that debuted on the Xperia P). This display will look great with Corning new line of flexible-tough Willow Glass.
