Do you need a phone with a bigger battery size but with a less price tag? Motorola has recently unveiled the Moto G8 power lite, an affordable phone with a huge 5,000mAh battery. Just a couple of months ago, the company introduced the Moto G8 Power smartphone. The Lite version offers almost the same specifications but comes with a reasonably impressive price that is less than $200.
The device has a 6.5-inch HD+ display, the Moto G8 Power lite is powered by the powerful MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of onboard storage. The device comes with an expandable storage option that allows you to increase the storage up to 256Gb with a microSD card. As this is a power device it lives up to its name by featuring a high-capacity battery but relies on a micro USB port with charging at up to 10W speeds.
When it comes to the photography section, the device doesn't take it lite. At the rear side, you will find a triple camera array that has a 16-megapixel primary sensor, 2-megapixel macro lens, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. The selfie camera has an 8-megapixel lens and is housed within a display notch. There is also a rear-mounted capacitive fingerprint scanner to open the phone using biometric prints.
The only drawback here is that the device is still relying on the older version of Android Pie rather than Android 10 out of the box. Moto isn't very good with software updates and that makes us wonder that if the users will get the updated OS anytime sooner or not. The company has launched the phone in two amazing colors - turquoise and blue. It will be soon available for sale in selected markets like Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania over the coming weeks.
