Galaxy S7 Gets Updated with the February Security Patch

If you live in the UK or in Austria and use a Galaxy S7, we have great news for you. The Galaxy S7 in some parts of Europe have started receiving the February patch, namely the two countries just mentioned. Firmware version G930FXXS4ESAE has been released for the Galaxy S7 and although the source mentions that the same patch should also be out for the S7 Edge as well, no firmware version was mentioned.

Just like all the other February patches for this year from Samsung, it contains fixes for the following bugs and vulnerabilities.

·        5 critical vulnerabilities in the base Android OS

·        Multiple low, moderate and high risk vulnerabilities in the base Android OS

·        12 vulnerabilities exclusive to the Samsung software
