Realme India is launching a new phone and has already started to sent out invites to the launch of the Realme X50 Pro 5G in India. The interesting thing here is that the device supports 5G connectivity and users have to pay for this extra feature, but there is no 5G in India yet. The 5G-enabled flagship smartphone will be launched in India on February 24 at an event in New Delhi at 2:30 PM IST. The company announced to release the phone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on the same day. Since the event has already canceled due to mobile manufacturers leaving the event after the Coronavirus outbreak. Realme X50 Pro 5G will now make its debut at an online-only event.
Realme is proud to announce that India will have its first 5G smartphone, as it will be launched a day before the iQOO 35G in the country. While 5G support will undoubtedly make the Realme X50 Pro 5G future-poof. Although not many people would buy the phone just for this feature alone, this will be India's first 5G device. So far, there are three companies are ready for 5G trials, but commercial 5G rollout in the country seems a distant dream.
Realme X50 Pro 5G will be powered by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 865 processor. Realme has also confirmed that the phone will have a 90Hz AMOLED display with dual-punch cameras, a 4500mAh battery, and 65W super dart fast charging technology. The screen is 6.5-inches and has 1080 x 2400 pixels. The device has corning gorilla glass. It has built-in 256GB storage and 12GB RAM. It has a quad-camera system that supports 64MP primary camera, 12MP, 8MP, and 2MP camera lenses. For the front camera, it uses a 32MP and 8MP camera lens. For security, the device uses fingerprint scanning technology.

Yesterday, HTC announced that it received the Android 5.0 Lollipop source code from Google and it is currently working on developing the update. HTC confirmed that it bring lollipop to the HTC One M8 and One M7 in 90 days starting from (Nov,3rd).
So, depending on the date timeline the company announced, If you own an HTC One M8 or One M7 you should expect Lollipop OTA update to hit your phone sometime during February,2015.
First HTC device to get Android 5.0 Lollipop is the Nexus 9 which is now Available on the Play Store.

Back in November, HTC received Android 5.0 Lollipop's source code from Google. The Taiwanese company already promised and still confirming that it will deliver the update to the HTC One M8 and One M7 users in 90 days (from the day it received the source code). Well, we are almost there... the 90 days period will end Next month.
We already saw leaked screenshots of a complete build of the HTC Sense 6.5 with Android 5.0 Lollipop from a One M8 device, according to these screenshots, HTC seems to be doing a good progress in the development of the Sense 6.5 for the update. so, If you own an HTC One M8 or One M7 you should expect Lollipop OTA update to hit your phone sometime by the End of Next month (February,2015).

Samsung tweeted a new teaser just a few days ago and that little tweet has confirmed what the rumors had been saying all along; the Next Galaxy is going to be unveiled on February 21. One can argue that Samsung has not mentioned anything specifically about the upcoming S7, but most of us are sure that it is indeed the Galaxy S7 that we are being "teased" about. After all, what else could the box that the guy wearing the Samsung VR glasses is reaching for contain other than the Next Galaxy S7?
As far as we know, the Galaxy S7 will not stand alone in Barcelona because the Galaxy S7 Edge+ will be unveiled alongside it at the same event. We are not saying that these are the only two pieces of tech that we will see the Korean giant launch at the Samsung Unpacked 2016 event, but these two are definitely the top candidates. If you are as excited as we are about the event then we have more good news for you. Samsung will host livestreaming of the entire affair, so that everyone who is interested can join in on the action live at Samsung.com.
If you want to know all that has been "leaked" so far or what the rumors are saying regarding the S7, check out our other articles because we have got everything covered.

Now that multiple sources have confirmed that Samsung is going to push back the unveiling of the Galaxy S8 to an exclusive event in April at New York City, we weren't really expecting to hear anything about the S8 at the Mobile World Congress next month. If a recent report by The Investor is to be believed, then Samsung might actually be unveiling the S8 at the upcoming MWC 2017 in Barcelona. The same report also mentions that the delayed release date remains unchanged, in spite of the early showcase. In case you are not aware, it is highly likely that the Galaxy S8 will be released for sale in and around mid-April (18th as reported by some of the sources).
While we are not sure what to believe at this point as both the contrasting reports come from credible sources, we would not really mind taking a look at the much anticipated Galaxy S8 next month. The general consensus is that Samsung will display the S8 with a handful of units which the company will bring out especially for this event. By the time it's April though, there will reportedly be ten million S8 smartphones ready to be shipped out to markets around the world.

The Galaxy J7 Prime had started to receive the security patch for the month of February just yesterday and today, the same update is rolling out to the J5 Prime. Both updates feature no major changes or improvements apart from filling in the security gaps in the base Android build.
The updates will bring build version G610FDDU1AQA2 for the Galaxy J7 Prime and G570MUBU1AQA3 for the Galaxy J5 Prime. Both packages will land on your devices via OTA within the next few days.
In other news, the next iterations of these two devices, aka the Galaxy J5 (2017) and the Galaxy J7 (2017) are speculated to be released this March with mid-range specs. If you are interested in the specs of the J7 (2017), check it out here. Google will be deprecating the Google Talk application for Windows. Google stopped allowing people to download the app long time ago but you can still continue using it, that is, until February 25,th.
Google already has a replacement in the form of Hangouts, which has been around for over a year now, and includes a lot more features, such as group messaging, audio and video calls, and emoji support.
If, however, you use Google Talk on a third party application, such as Pidgin, to access Google Talk, you can continue to use it for now, as only the Windows desktop app of Google Talk is being deprecated for now. However, it is still recommended to switch over to Hangouts for all the additional functionality you are getting.

Xiaomi's Mi 5 flagship smartphone whose launch was delayed, will now launch some time after the Chinese New Year in February, as per a post made in social media by the company's cofounder, Liwan Jiang, on Wednesday. He also revealed that the Mi 5 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820.
Xiaomi phone enthusiasts were disheartened in November when the Chinese smartphone manufacturer pushed new set of devices into the market - the Redmi Note 3 and Mi Pad 2. They also made it official that there won't be any more new device related announcements in 2015. Qualcomm was at the receiving end for this delay.
According to various reports the Snapdragon 820 is supposed to be much better than the troublesome Snapdragon 810, which affected several of 2015's major smartphones. The Mi 5 will be backed by 4 GB of RAM and have 32 GB and 64 GB variants. Other speculations about the Mi 5 include full metal body, fingerprint scanner, QHD display, a 16 MP primary snapper and massive 13 MP camera in the front along with a powerful 3,600 mAh battery featuring Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 standard.
The Mi 5 is expected to have a 5.2-inch display, encompassing a huge 565 ppi. As per Previously leaked price details, the smartphone will be available at $310 and $390 US dollars. But these prices are not yet official. .

ThePirateBay website went down on Early December last year, resulting of a police raid on Data center that has all the Pirate website data. Today, ThePirateBat.se official website has put a countdown to the date "February,1st". The website has also added firework animations and a "WeAreTPB" (We are The Pirate Bay) banner, but nothing else appears to be new.
It looks like the Pirate Bay is coming back online on the first day of Next month (Feb,2015)... As per their past history, The Pirate Bay has always managed to jump back into action, since their services are all cloud-based and their database is not in a single location, the timer suggests that the website will bounce back into action next month. We can only wait and watch to find out what will happen on February,1st.

It's hard to believe but the second month of the new year is about to come to an end in just a week's time! Time does fly and as always, we advise our readers to make the best of that time by playing as many games as you possibly can!
These eight will likely keep you busy for the entire month of March as well, but in case you are looking for some online casino games, we recommend that you check out the reviews of the best online casinos first, before actually playing on any of them to make sure that, you are getting the best online gaming experience that you possibly can. Nowadays online casino canada offers you quality reviews written by real players, so you will know for sure which game to play on your smartphone or tablet and win big bonuses.
On a serious note though, here are eight of the best Android games for the month of February that you should definitely check out on your tablet or smartphone.
Geometry Dash SubZero
Geometry Dash is not a new game and the latest addition to the series is more about a refreshing new look, different levels and a new soundtrack than a sequel really. Nevertheless, the completely free-to-play (No in-app purchases) platformer/runner is one of the better releases of the month.
Jellynauts
This little MOBA/hack-n-slash title comes from Yodo1 aka the publisher of Crossy Road, and although it's still in beta, this one looks like it could shape up to be one of the better games in the genre.
Portal Knights
Portal Knights looks quite amazing for an Android game, so that's an instant plus, but there's more to it than just looks. The sandbox RPG features crafting, loot, combat mechanics and even local multiplayer via Wi-Fi.
Prizefighters
The pixelated art style and the seemingly linear gameplay may seem boring but once you start playing it, it's actually quite an engaging arcade fighting game that simulates the boxing games of the 1990s quite accurately.
Rusty Lake Paradise
We do prefer games that ask for one-time upfront payment rather than milk the free-to-play but pay-to-win model, and Rusty Lake Paradise is a fine example of that done well. It's the latest story heavy, point-and-click adventure game in the Rusty Lake series that's easy to play and nice to look at.
Gunstar Heroes
Do you like SEGA Forever games? If you do, then you will really like Gunstar Heroes. The action-platformer is a classic and since most of the modern games in the genre are inspired by games such as these, you can expect to have a wonderful time with it. Just hook up a controller though because that's how it was meant to be played.
Lord of Dice
Lord of Dice mixes up both MMORPG and strategy elements together and it executes both pretty well. The anime-style artwork is nice to look at and the gameplay is satisfying enough.
Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia
Another RPG makes its way onto this list as Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia was released for Android smartphones this month. As it is with most Final Fantasy games, there's quite a bit of backdrop to all the characters and there's definitely a strong story for the player to follow while levelling up in single-player and occasionally battling it out on the multiplayer mode.

Motorola is slowly letting people in the media know that it has something planned for February,25th, which is next Wednesday. On that day, the company will be making an exciting announcement.
It's an unconventional product launch, that's for sure. Motorola is sending media outlets a mysterious box, which is set to arrive at their doorsteps on the aforementioned date. The contents of the box haven't been revealed yet, but apparently "everything you need fits inside one box".
So those who will receive these boxes will be "in the front row" for the announcement thanks to what's in the box. It's all rather puzzling.

Google has already officially revealed that Android 5.1 Lollipop exists just a few days ago. We got a change-log and some details about this version but no release date so far. A leaked image of a Moto G 2nd generation running Android version 5.1 has appeared online (photo below).
The Moto G on the photo is running a build that is dated on 2nd Feb and Motorola is still testing it. Android 5.1 Lollipop is expected to arrive by the end of this month (February), starting with nexus factory images followed by OTA package updates.

Samsung continues to support the Galaxy Note 4 with regular security updates as the February patch begins to hit the unlocked Galaxy Note 4 in Europe. Considering that even some of the its newer devices have not yet received the February patch from Samsung, it is a bit surprising. Nevertheless, it's good to see Samsung still supporting its older flagships.
The firmware version for this update is N910FXXS1DQB4 and it brings all the fixes included in the February SMR release along with a few of Samsung's own custom bug fixes and performance improvements. Although people keep saying that the Galaxy Note 4 is now too old to receive any updates from the OEM, Samsung keeps rolling them out and that's a good thing. Nevertheless, an official Nougat update is certainly not coming to the Note 4 or any of its contemporary handsets.
If you are in Europe, the update should hit your device within the next few weeks. If you are in any other region, you may have to wait a while before getting it. You can also head over to our firmware section to find all the latest available updates for your Samsung smartphones.

The February security update has started to hit the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 just recently. As always, it's good to see Samsung supporting a device that's almost three years old. Security patch for the month of February has now started to reach the Galaxy A7 original. You may argue that it's already the middle of March, but hey! Better late than never. Besides, the Galaxy A7 original was released back in 2015 and it's a good thing that Samsung is still updating the device with regular patches. Then again, it has been the trend with Samsung recently to support even some of its older phones; a trend which we like very much.
The update comes in with the firmware version A700FXXU2BQB1 and should reach your region soon. In case you are wondering where this report originated from, know that the OTA file is currently being rolled out to the A7 handsets in the Netherlands.
