In mid-February, the premiere of two flagships Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro was released in an online event. But due to Coronavirus outbreak company decided to delay the launch. The flagships have top-end characteristics, an attractive design and many functionalities, but it seems that the company is planning for more.Until today, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro was a high-end phone of the premium category and occupies a leading position in the portfolio of smartphones of the company. But it may happen that it won't be the able to hold the same position for long time, and all because of the release of Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro +.
Rumors have confirmed the upcoming announcement of the plus version. The phone has a slogan "Look beyond the world". The ultimate flagship Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro+ should have a 100 megapixel sensor in the main camera, support for 12x optical zoom, a display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, the top-end Snapdragon 865 platform and fast 65-watt charging.
The authenticity of this news remains to be verified. According to rumors circulating in the network, in the second half of the year, Xiaomi plans to show five more flagships based on the Snapdragon 865. There are also predictions that the company will release a device with 6.67-inch (2340 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ AMOLED 19.5:9 aspect ratio HDR10 + display with 90Hz refresh rate. The phone will be powered by Octa Core (1 x 2.84GHz + 3 x 2.42GHz + 4 x 1.8GHz Hexa) Snapdragon 865 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 650 GPU. Xiaomi Mi 10 may feature a high-quality 108MP rear camera with 1/ 1.33″ Samsung sensor, 0.8μm pixel size, f/1.69 aperture, OIS, 8P lens LED flash. 13MP 123° ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.4 aperture. 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture, 8k at 30fps, 4k 60fps, 960fps at 720p.
Smartphones are blurring the line between them and desktop computers nowadays and Xiaomi is about to blur that line even further with their upcoming Mi Note 2 Pro. According to a screenshot posted by AndroidPure, the upcoming handset from the Chinese manufacturer will sport beyond flagship grade specs like 8GB of RAM and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 CPU, clocked at 2.6GHz! The superphone will also have an in-built storage of 256GB and Google's latest and greatest Android OS Nougat will be running on it right out of the box. However, the only catch is that this "screenshot" could very well be a fake, much to our dismay.
As we now know that the previously rumoured launch date of the Mi Note 2 Pro (September 24) turned out to be wrong, it still is a bit of a mystery as to when it will actually be released. Since the Mi5s and Mi5s Plus was just launched in China, the date for the Mi Note 2 Pro's launch could be further away than rumors had originally predicted. In case you are not aware, these two are also packing the Qualcomm SD 821 chipset and enhanced camera capabilities that the OEM has declared to be better than even those sported by the flagship grade Samsung and Apple smartphones. Considering that the smartphones also cost about half of what an Apple iPhone 7 or Samsung Galaxy Note 7 would cost, things are getting really tight for the big boys.

Last year's Redmi K20 Pro was inarguably one of the best flagship smartphones from the company. The device offered high-quality hardware at a very affordable price, making it one of the most popular smartphones of the year.
Xiaomi has officially confirmed on Weibo that the Redmi K30Pro will arrive in March, although we don't have a specific date yet. It also uploaded a poster showing a phone without a punch-hole camera in the top corners. The Redmi K30 Pro has expected the company's latest smartphone belongs to the flagship category, just like its predecessor K20 Pro.
We have heard a lot about the phone so far, and now we know that it is coming next month. The poster and the leaks also give hint that Redmi K30 Pro will feature a pop-up selfie camera instead of the K30's punch-hole cute-out. The picture doesn't show the whole display but it doesn't make any sense for having the selfie camera the bottom of the device. But it is far more likely that Xiaomi is reverting to the K20 family's pop-up camera.
A few rumors suggest that the device will feature a 64MP quad rear camera system. Other leaks suggest that the K30 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 865 and will support the 5G network connectivity. The device has a 4,700mAh battery that is sufficient enough to keep it on charge for a whole day even for the heavy user. Unfortunately, the phone doesn't offer wireless charging. We have to wait till next month to see what else the phone has to offer.
Realme released the C-series smartphone in Malaysia last week, and now the company has teased the next phone for the Indian smartphone market - that's Realme C11. The news was confirmed at the official page at the social networking site - Twiter. In a tweet, the company revealed that the next phone in the C-series, known as Realme C11 is coming soon to India. This is the only phone by Realme to be launched in this quarter at least. As Realme India CEO further added in his tweet, we can expect other smartphones in the same series later this year.
He also claimed that there are 7.5million uses in India that have bought their C-series phones. In a follow-up tweet, the company asked his user to keep an eye for the next exciting addition in the series. As per the news, the company is also planning to add one more stylish product to attract young consumers who are also budget-conscious. It makes sense that we don't have to wait for too long as the phone is already launched in Malaysia just last week. There isn't any news on where else the phone is going to be launched so far.
The Realme C11 is going to be launched with a single variant of 2GB memory and 32GB internal storage that is priced at around Rs. 7,500. It is expected that after taxes the phone is going to be less than Rs.10,000. The Realme C3 was launched in India at Rs.6,999 in February this year. The phone will be powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 S0C, along with 2GB. It features a 6.50inch HD_ display with 1,600 pixels and a notch for the selfie camera. For photography, you can find a dual-camera setup on the rear side of the phone. The device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery.
The premium smartphone space in India has been completely dominated by Samsung and Apple till now, but over the recent years, things started to change in favor of Chinese smartphone manufacturers like OnePlus, Xiaomi's Mi 11 Ultra, and Vivo with X60 and Y73 series. We have already seen the Vivo X60 standard, Pro, and Pro plus in action and these smartphones turned out to be an impressive set of phones that can shoot a lot of videos.
Vivo has teased the launch of another budget-friendly smartphone - Vivo Y73 in India soon. The company has taken to Twitter to show off its first teaser of the smartphone after its launch was already tipped last week. The phone is expected to be around 20,000 INR. The phone is expected to have a triple rear camera system on the back panel.
The company tweeted the teaser on its Indian Twitter account, hinting at the imminent release of Vivo Y73 in the region. As per the teaser, the phone will be available in two colors - Blue and Black. The Blue has a diamond-patterned design and features a water drop-style notch at the front. The teaser suggests that the phone is coming soon but they haven't announced the date yet. The upcoming smartphone is rumored to feature an AMOLED display.
The phone has 8GB RAM and is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G90 SoC and run on Android 11. The Google Play console listing suggests that Vivo Y73 will feature a full HD+ display with 1080x2400 pixels. The phone is tipped to carry model number V2059. The phone is said to have at least three camera sensors inside the module in a triangular formation, with a large camera sensor on the top and two small cameras being placed at the bottom. The phone has a sleek design with power and volume buttons on the phone's right side.
A whole long list of SD 865 smartphones are going to arrive soon, so hold on to your purse and don't waste your money on current gen flagship smartphones just yet, because they are going to become a lot cheaper in a matter of weeks!
To give you an idea of what's to come, we have compiled a short list of the three highly anticipated Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 powered smartphones which will be the first to reach consumers.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Series
No one can say for sure whether the S20-series will really be the first smartphones to get to the market, with a SD 865 SoC in them, but rumors surrounding Samsung are almost always true these days! · 1080 x 2340, 19.5:9, S AMOLED 6.39" / 6.7", 120Hz display
· 128GB storage & 8GB RAM / 256GB storage & 12GB RAM / 512GB Storage & 16GB RAM

Vivo IQoo
This one will likely be a timed exclusive in India, and this move could make the new sub-brand of Vivo, the first OEM to release a Snapdragon 865 powered smartphone in the country. Not much else is known about the smartphone, but it is rumored to have impressive flagship specs such as a 120Hz display and 64+12+12+8 megapixel rear camera modules to go along with that flagship SoC as well.
As of now, it is expected that the Snapdragon 865 chip with its brand new Cortex A77 - powered Kryo 585 cores will finally be able to close the huge performance gap that exists between Apple's latest A-series chips and anything that any Android OEM is able to churn up. Of course, we will just have to wait and see how that actually turns out!

According to a Forbes report, Microsoft is about to launch a wearable device in the coming weeks. The gadget will reportedly hit the shelves in time for the holiday shopping season.
Microsoft's upcoming creation will focus on tracking physical activities that include steps, heart rate, and calories burned among others. Some smartwatch functionality is also expected, though it will not be the product's main highlight. Battery life of the wearable device is tipped to be in the ballpark of two days.
A tool that every Samsung user has it installed on his computer, Samsung KIES, the Samsung's smartphone manager suite for PC and Mac, will get a major overhaul. According to confirmed reports, Samsung is planning on releasing KIES 4 with a completely new design to look similar to the company's TouchWiz Lollipop look with flat Material Design elements.
Samsung Kies 4 is expected to be available for download sometimes during Q3,2015 (March - June). So the Galaxy S6 will have a new computer buddy to play with very soon.
In terms of functionality, there's no information if Samsung will be adding new features to the software or just change it looks. Many users love Kies for its data backup skills and it's likely that the company plays it safe and just apply a refreshing coat of paint to the suite.
2015 is almost here, Samsung is preparing for its upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S6. However, this year Samsung will be releasing two new flagships Smartphones. Latest reports indicates that the Korean Manufacture is preparing to release a smaller version of the Galaxy Note Edge, It will be called "Samsung Galaxy S Edge". The Galaxy S Edge is reported to have the same design as the Galaxy S6 but with a curved-display.
Instead of releasing a Prime variant which is like releasing the same device twice but with higher Specs, Samsung decided to change its strategy to provide a newer/better option with a new technology, Flexible Displays. The Galaxy S Edge will pack the same Specs and Design as the original Galaxy S6 but with curved display on the side. Rumored Specs for the Galaxy S6 include QHD display, Exynos 7420/Snapdragon 810 chipset, and 16MP or 20MP camera.
Both Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S Edge is expected to be announced on Early 2015 and to be released on the markets by Late Q1,2015 with Lollipop Pre-installed.
Samsung's latest TouchWiz UX version finally added support for Themes. The Galaxy A series (A3, A5 and A7) were the first devices to feature TouchWiz themes, then the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy S6 supported the same features later on.
The new TouchWiz supports theme creation tool that allows you to design and share your very own theme. Sadly, The availability of the tool is extremely limited, but Samsung seems to be working on expanding its reach. Samsung's Support answered to a user than Galaxy S6 will join the mentioned phones in the theme creation service and its availability will be expanded over more markets.
The Samsung's support team suggests you keep an eye over this page, which will allow for Galaxy S6 support this April. We guess the Galaxy S6 edge will get the theme creating feature alongside the Galaxy S6.
You may know the popular GTA PC game, developed by Rockstar studios. Well, There is a new movie about this game, called "Grand Theft Auto". As for the actors, Daniel Radcliffe, star of the Harry Potter film series, is in negotiations to star in a movie about the creator of Grand Theft Auto.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Radcliffe may portray Sam Houser, the co-founder and president of Rockstar Games in a BBC Films movie. The film, aptly titled Grand Theft Auto, will center on a real-life conflict between Houser and Jack Thompson a disbarred Miami lawyer who pushed for a ban on violent video games in the early 2000s.
Bill Paxton will play disbarred attorney Jack Thompson, the man who tried to take down Grand Theft Auto developer Rockstar Games. The movie will be out in 2016 and we may see the first trailer later this year.
According to confirmed reports from the Korean media, Samsung is preparing to officially announce its flagship Phablet device - Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920) - on August,13th. Latest renders of the device shows that the Galaxy Note 5 will pack a microSDXC slot that can handle up to 128 GB (UHS-1 memory cards).
Also Today, another batch of cases has been made available by the same retailer along with a new render, which once again proves that the Galaxy Note 5 will indeed have a curved back. This is now clearly visible, as some of the said cases are transparent.
Upon closer inspection, we can see just how much the Galaxy S6 edge has influenced the new Note design. As for the cases themselves, there are from the Rearth Ringke Fusion and Rearth Ringke Slim series and already up for preorder.
In another related leak, a Samsung device with a model number SM-N920F attributed to the Galaxy Note 5, is on its way to India for testing. The information comes from import tracking website Zauba. According to the entry, the unit was shipped on July 16 from South Korea and has a declared value of about $572. The number is, of course, in no way indicative of a retail price. The fact that the phone is already on its way for R&D in India.
We are waiting for Samsung's major press event in New York on August,13th. The event will be focus on the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge+ phablets.
Today, Samsung released a new Teaser joined by a countdown timer to the event, depicts the three devices stacked on top of each other, but it's about as vague as it gets.
It looks like that the Galaxy S6 edge+ is on top, its curved edge gently accented. The Galaxy Note 5 is underneath, only it's facing down, so you can see the curve on its back, similar to the one of face of the S6 edge+. The S-Pen has been popped-out, with the groove in its top end highlighted, further fueling our suspicions that a novel means of ejection has been implemented.
And then there's the third device a substantially larger one, firmly in tablet territory. Given that the theme of the teaser is "BIG", it could be the recently announced Galaxy Tab S2 in its 9.7-inch incarnation, but the strips in the bottom part of the frame weren't present in the official images, so this one will remain a puzzle, if only for another week.

Blackberry needs no introduction in the mobile phone industry. It was a huge brand when the iPhone hit the market and eventually Blackberry had to leave. According to the latest news, the phone is coming back, with Android and 5G support. The revival is, however, made possible by a Texas startup called Onward Mobility that has been building security solutions for enterprises and Government for some time. The new Blackberry phone will support 5G connectivity. The phone feature a physical keyboard and a list of security-focused features. Almost 6 months ago Blackberry brand license TCL communication announced that it would cease the sales of Blackberry devices starting from August 31 and now we have a new announcement.
OnwardMobility is set to release the first 5G Blackberry smartphone, as early as the first half of 2021. The phone will be based on the Android operating system and feature a physical keyboard. The phone will be launched in North America and Europe. However, there isn't any fixed date of its debut. The company has partnered with Foxconn subsidiary FIS mobile to manufacture the new Blackberry phone. The new device is touted as a feature-rich 5G ready in the press statement. "Enterprise professionals are eager to secure 5G devices that enable productivity, without sacrificing the user experience," said Peter Franklin, CEO of OnwardMobility. "BlackBerry smartphones are known for protecting communications, privacy, and data."
There isn't anything on the specs right now. However, Franklin in an interview said that it would come with a redesigned clean-sheet keyboard and might have a competitive price. This suggests that the phone might not be pricier like the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 or the upcoming Apple iPhone 12. Instead, it is likely to fall in the budget-category. John Chen, Executive Chairman and CEO, Blackberry said in a statement, "We are excited that customers will experience the enterprise and government level security and mobile productivity the new BlackBerry 5G smartphone will offer."
Nokia seems to be over. Sadly, the Finish Giant won't be releasing any Smartphones anymore, this was confirmed by Nokia CEO Rajeev Suri at a recent analyst meeting in London. Nokia will still consumer products to its fans.
Nokia, the former biggest phonemaker in the world, could get its return as soon as tomorrow Nokia just teased that it has been working on something. It will show it off or talk about it at the #Slush14 startup and entrepreneur meetup that starts tomorrow in Helsinki and is said to gather some 10 thousand people.
The teaser itself shows a new device but we can only guess what it is a HTPC, a TV, home automation tech? Hopefully we're going to know all about it tomorrow.
It's hard to imagine Nokia not making any smartphones or phones in general but we'd wager a guess that it's not all over for the company, despite what its CEO reassures us of now. CEOs change and so do plans in the tech world and Nokia is only forbidden to make Nokia phones until December,31st of 2015.
Despite some awkward flaws, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones are the biggest Android smartphones in the market right now. The LG G6 is its closest market competitor right now, but the older Qualcomm Snapdragon chip doesn't really help its cause much. As the iPhone 8 is still quite far off in terms of being released, the upcoming Nokia 9 could be Samsung's only real competitor, if the rumoured specs of the HMD smartphone turn out to be true. Cheek the rumoured spec sheet below to see what we mean.
5.5-inch QHD OLED display
Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor
6GB of RAM
64GB/128GB internal storage
22-megapixel dual lens Carl-Zeiss camera on the back
12-megapixel front camera
3800 mAh battery with Quick Charge 4 support
IP68 water and dust certification
Android 7.1.2 Nougat
Nokia OZO audio VR ready sound
The specs do look mighty impressive, especially the OLED QHD display and Nokia OZO audio. However, it isn't only the specs but the popularity of the Nokia name coming back into business as well. We will have to wait and see if it turns out to be as stellar a device as we are hoping for it to be. In the meanwhile, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ are the best Android phones you can buy right now (pre-order to be precise!).

A rumor about an upcoming HTC device from the desire family, that will be called the "HTC Desire Eye" has been not been confirmed yet but it seems logical. If HTC will release the "M8 Eye" it should release another mid-range device of the same type, and the "Desire Eye" is the one.
HTC Desire Eye is tipped to pack a 5.2" 1080p display and run on the powerful Snapdragon 801 chipset with a quad-core Krait 400 processor at 2.3GHz and 2GB RAM.
The most interesting feature is the camera department of the HTC Desire Eye a 13MP front Selfie Camera coupled with a dual-LED front-flash and a 13MP rear camera. This should be quite interesting combo and a tough competitor for the upcoming Oppo N3.
The rest of the tipped specs include 32GB internal storage, a 2,400 mAh battery and IPX7 certification for water resistance. The Desire Eye will run on Android OS with Sense 6 UI with Eye camera app on top of it.
HTC is getting ready to launch a universal USB charger that will allow select handsets to be powered up 40% faster than with regular chargers. Called HTC Rapid Charger 2.0, the accessory uses Qualcomm's Quick Charge 2.0 technology which debuted last year on the Snapdragon 800 SoC, and is obviously included in newer chipsets.
While the HTC Rapid Charger 2.0 is compatible with all HTC smartphones, there aren't that many which can benefit from its faster charging abilities. For now, HTC is listing the following models: HTC One M8, HTC One M8 Harman Kardon Edition, HTC One E8, HTC One remix, and HTC Desire EYE. It's not clear if the HTC One M8 for Windows is also included here.
At the moment, HTC isn't saying exactly when the Rapid Charger 2.0 will be released, and neither how much it's going to cost. Anyway, it's probably safe to assume that its price will be roughly similar to the one of Motorola's Turbo Charger, which is currently sold for $34.99.
Yesterday, HTC announced that it received the Android 5.0 Lollipop source code from Google and it is currently working on developing the update. HTC confirmed that it bring lollipop to the HTC One M8 and One M7 in 90 days starting from (Nov,3rd).
So, depending on the date timeline the company announced, If you own an HTC One M8 or One M7 you should expect Lollipop OTA update to hit your phone sometime during February,2015.
First HTC device to get Android 5.0 Lollipop is the Nexus 9 which is now Available on the Play Store.
HTC announced the One M9 with Sense 7.0 UI on top of Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. Well, the Taiwanese company didn't forget the last year's amazing flagship One M8 and confirmed during it's MWC 2015 event the Sense 7 UI update is coming to M8 users.
The Update will pack all the software features that are currently on the HTC One M9 to the One M8. Users should expect Sense 7 to come with Lollipop 5.0.2 update, we don't have an exact date yet but according to our sources it will come during Q2,2015.
After long time of waiting, Mo Versi, VP of Product Management at HTC America announced that T-Mobile's HTC One M7 will get the official Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update on March,10th. The company has already updated its One M8 devices on most regions.
HTC One (M7) T-Mobile Owners! We've received technical approval on the L OS and OTA will start on Tuesday. #htcadvantage
— Mo Versi (@moversi) March 7, 2015
Mo Versi shared on Twitter that the Lollipop build has got the technical approval. The update will certainly package all the major Lollipop goodies such as refreshed recent apps menu, notifications and system wide tweaks.
We have an official confirmation from the president of Samsung Mobiles, Koh Dong-jin, that the flagship will start receiving its Android 7 updates by the end of 2016 or possibly even sooner. He specified the timeline as "two to three months," so that's November by latest. This is good news for owners and fans of the phablet, especially for those who expected the Note 7 to come preloaded with Android 7.0 right out of the box.
In the words of Koh Dong-jin himself, "It is very important for us to offer up-to-date information with the new OS, but what's more crucial is to build a stable and seamless platform for users. That's why we are planning to do enough beta testing before any OS updates." Perhaps this is the reason as to why the Note 7 came preloaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow instead of Nougat like many rumors predicted it will. We do agree that it is better to take time in providing a less buggy and more stable experience to the users than just rushing out with a version of the latest OS that feels like a downgrade. However, with the LG V20 announced as the first smartphone to sport the seventh version of Android, Samsung better not delay it too much.

T-Mobile has now made it official on Twitter that the just-released Samsung Gear S3 is coming to the carrier. It would be the frontier LTE variant of the smartwatch that will be available from the carrier and not the Gear S3 Classic. Here's the tweet from the company,
"The @SamsungMobileUS Gear S3 frontier is our first LTE connected smartwatch. Look for it to hit stores this fall!"
The Gear S3 is quite a big device with a screen size of 1.3-inches and a diameter of 46mm, especially when compared to its predecessor, the S2. It is undoubtedly, targeted more towards the male customers. When it comes to improvements, the Gear S3 has a much better Always On display with the full gamut of 16 million colors and this time around, you can even see the second hand moving on the AO screen. It also supports voice calls (frontier LTE versions only), MST and NFC based Samsung Pay, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and has an IP68 certification for water resistance.
Both versions of the Samsung Gear S3 can withstand extreme cold and extreme heat, but only the S3 frontier (black only) with rubber bands has LTE/3G connectivity option. The silver colored S3 Classic on the other hand, comes with leather wrist bands. Both the smartwatches are protected by Gorilla Glass SR+ on top.

We have good news for all fans of the Galaxy Note series of smartphones out there, the Note 8 is coming in 2017. In contrast to what reports straight out of South Korea had been saying, Samsung has confirmed today that the Note 8 is indeed going to be launched next year. According to Reuters, the special Note 7 exchange program employed in South Korea will not only include the Galaxy S8, but also the Galaxy Note 8, when they come out. The affected Note 7 customers who opt for the plan will be able to exchange their replacement S7/S7 Edge and have the new S8 or Note 8 at half the price.
Although we are calling it the Note 8, there is a high chance that the next flagship in the series may adopt a brand new moniker due to two reasons. The first reason is that the Note branding is tarnished at this point due to the Note 7 disaster and opting for a fresh start may not be such a bad idea. Secondly, Samsung did release a "Note 8" tablet back in 2013 already. The report also debunks the rumor that Samsung will concentrate on just one flagship smartphone this year to reduce the pressure of meeting timelines, in favour of incorporating a more rigorous security and safety check before releasing a smartphone.

A leaked User Agent Profile confirms that Galaxy A7 SM-A700FD will pack a 1080p display, which is a dual-SIM version of the device. The screen will have a 5.5" diagonal, giving it 400ppi pixel density, up from Galaxy Alpha's 312ppi.
The profile also reveals that the Galaxy A7 will have a 64-bit processor (ARMv8-A instruction set) and will be clocked at 1.5GHz.
Even the entry level A series phone, the Galaxy A3, will have a 64-bit processor a Snapdragon 410 probably, with a quad-core Cortex-A53 processor at 1.2GHz. It seems that the Galaxy A5 will use the same chipset, but it's not clear yet if the Galaxy A7 will go up to Snapdragon 61x or simply go for an overclocked 410.
The Samsung Galaxy A7 will launch with Android 4.4.4 KitKat next month and is rumored to cost around $450 - $500.
Samsung has announced the availability of the Galaxy Note Edge in Canada. The device, which was spotted up for pre-order on Best Buy Canada website a couple of days ago, is priced at CA$400 on-contract, or CA$900 outright, and will go on sale in the country on February,18th. Both Rogers and Bell will sell the device, which will be available in Charcoal Black.
"The Galaxy Note Edge is one of our most innovative and unique smartphone designs to date, which once again demonstrates that we are listening and responding to our consumers," - said Paul Brannen, Executive Vice President, Mobile Solutions, Samsung Canada.
The key selling point of the Galaxy Note Edge is the curved display present on its right edge. The Edge Screen helps busy Canadians get more done on-the-go with incoming calls, texts, emails and alerts appearing neatly contained in the Edge panel without interrupting your main screen experience, Brannen said.
Samsung has been testing an updated version of the Galaxy Tab 4 family for quite some time. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 was the first spotted running a brand new CPU and now rumors about the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 following suit have been confirmed.
The update in question has to do with the chipset. The old Snapdragon 400 is being swapped with a new 64-bit 410 model. While this is no major performance upgrade, the newer silicon is 64-bit, thus futureproofing the device and preparing it for the benefits of a Lollipop update.

— Roland Quandt (@rquandt) April 7, 2015
The rest of the specs sheet remains completely unchanged and so does the price tag. The device still comes with 1.5GB of RAM and a spacious but low-res 10.1-inch, 1280 x 800 pixel display.
A tool that all Samsung users has it installed on their computers, Samsung KIES, the Samsung's smartphone manager suite for PC and Mac, will get a major overhaul. According to confirmed reports, Samsung is planning on releasing a new version of its manager software - KIES 4 - with a completely new design to look similar to the company's TouchWiz Lollipop look with flat Material Design elements.
Samsung Kies 4 is expected to be available for download sometimes by the end of this year Q4,2015. So the Galaxy Note 5 will have a new computer buddy to play with very soon.
In terms of functionality, there's no information if Samsung will be adding new features to the software or just change it looks. Many users love Kies for its data backup skills and it's likely that the company plays it safe and just apply a refreshing coat of paint to the suite.
Earlier this year we have reported that Samsung has officially announced that it's building on a bendable/foldable smartphone for this year. Well, it looks like we are getting really close to see this device on markets, it packs codename "Samsung Project Valley" and it has faced some delays and expected to be ready to launch by January,2016.
Samsung is reportedly testing both Snapdragon 620 and 820 for the phone. It doesn't become clear if that's for two separate versions of the phone or just looking for the most suitable chipset. Either way, it will have 3GB of RAM.
The battery will be non-removable, as the Korean will have to design a custom battery for this device but Samsung Project Valley will allegedly have a microSD slot. The screen will certainly be OLED, there are no bendy LCDs.
Stay tuned for more info regarding Samsung Project Valley and this whole new series of foldable devices coming from Samsung very soon.
Even though earlier leaks had suggested that both the Galaxy C7 Pro and the C5 Pro would be released this December in China, that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. According to a leak on Weibo, the two handsets will instead be released next month. No reasoning was specified on the report, as to why the launch has been delayed by a month.
It was only in October that the two smartphones were spotted while being imported to India for R&D purposes. They have since been seen on benchmarks as well and here's what we know (based on rumors) about the two upcoming devices so far.
Galaxy C5 Pro (SM-C5010)
5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED panel
Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 (MSM8953) SoC
4GB RAM
64GB/128GB internal storage with expandable micro-SD card/SIM card hybrid slot (up to 256GB)
16mp/8mp rear and front cameras
3,300mAh battery
Fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C
Galaxy C7 Pro (SM-C7010)
5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED panel
Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC

Keep in mind that most of these specs are speculated and may not match the final product accurately.

In a report by SamMobile, it was revealed that Samsung is all set to launch its next iteration of the Galaxy Xcover series. Although the handset which appeared on the database of the Wi-Fi Alliance wasn't exactly branded as the Galaxy Xcover 4, the SM-G930F model number leaves us with little doubt as to which smartphone we are seeing here. In case you are not aware, the Xcover 3 had the model number SM-G388F when it came out almost two years ago in 2015.
No release date has been revealed yet, but it will probably be released somewhere in April, just like its predecessor. Unlike its predecessor though, which came out with Android 4.4.4 KitKat, the Xcover 4 will be running on Android Nougat 7.0, right from the outset. Check out the screenshot above to see more details. In the meanwhile, if you have a Galaxy Xcover 3 that you want to update with a custom ROM, find one at our firmware section. Here's the tutorial on how to use Odin3 and flash ROM updates easily onto your Samsung smartphone.

The Galaxy S8 Active is once again coming to AT&T, just as last year and the year before that. If you are not exactly aware of what the "Active" version of Samsung's Galaxy S-series smartphones are, then know that they are fundamentally the same smartphones, with the only differences being a bigger battery and better protection against shock, dust and water. In that regard, the S8 Active will be the more durable version of the regular Galaxy S8. Considering how fragile the S8 and S8+ looks, we would say that's good news for AT&T users.
The news was leaked by SamMobile and although the site did not have any images of the Galaxy S8 Active, it did leak two important pieces of info to all of us. Firstly, the S8 Active will be codenamed Cruiser and secondly, the device will have the model number SM-G892A. The bigger battery which usually accompanies all Galaxy S Active smartphones is the main attraction for us and if you would like to get your hands on one as well, you may have to wait till June.

It's true and it's about to happen in June. The infamous Galaxy Note 7 which had caused Samsung to lose billions of dollars, as well as suffer a lot of criticism, bad reputation and take jabs from even the contemporary US President Obama himself , is finally coming back to its home country with a smaller 3,200mAh battery and a roughly 300,00 Won ($266) price cut. The refurbished Galaxy Note 7 will now be available for purchase in South Korea, starting from June.
No new units have been made according to the reports and there will be only about 300,000 of these refurbished smartphones available with a slashed price tag of 700,000 won (or $620). Samsung won't be rebranding it as anything else, so it will go on sale with as the Galaxy Note 7 (SM-N935), just like it should. In spite of all the negativity, it should be noted that the Note 7 was a huge hit for the company and before everything went haywire, critics all around the globe praised it as the best smartphone by Samsung yet. Would you buy one at this price point if it was available near you?

@OnLeaks and PriceBaba have jointly released a leaked smartphone render which will allegedly be Samsung's first foray into the world of dual camera modules. It isn't the Galaxy Note 8 (which will almost certainly sport a very powerful dual camera module), but instead, it's the rumoured Galaxy C10 (SM-C9100) and C10 Plus (SM-C9150/SM-C9158). Rumors were already predicting that Samsung might expand their Galaxy C line-up further with the C10, but this almost confirms it, given the reliable reputation of the leakster.
The fingerprint sensor seems to be at the front of the device, along with the traditional Home button. The dual camera is of course the highlight of the render, which seems to be in a landscape arrangement; that is one above the other, instead of being side-by-side. Other features seem pretty standard with an USB Type-C port, a headphone jack, loudspeaker, microphone, volume rockers and a power button. Interestingly enough, we are also seeing the Bixby button, but we will have to wait and see if Samsung actually decides to stick with it. You will find the video and the images in the article and after you have taken a good look, do let us know what your thoughts are.

After years of speculations, we finally have something official to speak about the topic. During the press conference in Korea where the Galaxy Note 8 was launched a few days ago, President of Samsung Mobiles, DJ Koh went on and said the following lines.
"We have a plan to adopt a foldable display in our roadmap. We are currently addressing some technological hurdles to commercialize such a device. We will launch a foldable device when we are fully ready, and we are aiming to do so next year..."
Granted, it's only a plan according to the statement, but it isn't very unlikely that this plan will finally come into fruition in 2018. The reason I think so is because he said it out loud in a press conference. Would the President of Samsung Mobiles have declared it to the press if it wasn't all but confirmed? That would be unwise and the CEO of Samsung Mobiles is not unwise! The question is, will Samsung be launching a new line of handsets with foldable displays or will they just incorporate it into their existing flagship lineups? What do you think?

We know that the twin cameras on the upcoming Galaxy S9 (or maybe the S9+ only) are going to be pretty amazing, especially if the rumoured f/1.5 aperture turns out to be a reality, but will it sport the rumoured 1,000fps video recording as well? Keep in mind that it's an old rumor that had been circulating for a while now and it just got recent attention after the famous Chinese tipster Ice Universe (@Universeice) stated the same earlier.
As of now, the only smartphone camera that comes even close to producing 1,000fps is on the Sony Xperia XZ Premium (960fps). Not that Samsung cannot do it of course, but we will have to wait a bit longer to get confirmation. In case you do not know already, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be unveiled at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona, on the 25th of February.

Some reports are indicating that the Galaxy Note 9 might be released earlier than expected, but can you guess the proposed reason for that assumption? Well, apparently the Galaxy S9 and S9+ have not been as big a hit as Samsung expected the two of their latest flagship smartphones to be and this decision regarding the Note 9's expected early release has been presumably taken in accordance with the somewhat disappointing sales numbers. The report comes in out of South Korea, so there might be some credence to it, although, we are not totally sure at this moment.
Whether or not this is true is something that cannot be ascertained as of now, but there's no denying that a lot of the S8 owners don't feel the need to upgrade this year and that's understandable, given that the S9 and the S9+ look almost identical to their predecessors from the front. This report is backed up by two facts, with the first being that Samsung is about to start manufacturing the 6.38-inch AMOLED displays for the Note 9 in April, which is two months earlier than when they usually start the display production for their next Note phablet. Secondly, the Note 9's Android Oreo 8.1 powered firmware is also in development, which is also much earlier than their usual schedule. What do you think?

Samsung was supposed to be the first OEM in the world to bring the foldable smartphone to our doors, but now that ZTE has already beaten Samsung to the first punch by years, the only hope the old and cancelled Project Valley enthusiasts have is that the Korean company will at least be releasing one in 2019. If the latest report by The Wall Street Journal is anything to go by, that might really turn out to be true.
According to the report, the upcoming device will sport a 7-inch Super AMOLED display, that will fold in half from the middle like a wallet. There will apparently be a secondary display on the outside of the device as well, to make it usable even without folding out the phone. As you would expect for a device with essentially three different displays to be, the Galaxy X, aka Winner will be a costly smartphone at roughly $1,500!
Expected to be launched at the Mobile World Congress 2019 (Feb 25 - 28), keep in mind that while this is a much more specific leak than what we are used to in regard to the illusive foldable Samsung smartphone, the release date is still just a speculation.

Ever since the Galaxy S21 ultra was revealed, Samsung fans were eager to get their hands on it mainly because of the awesome camera features and adaptive display refresh rate. Usually, Samsung smartphones aren't good with their battery life, and consume batery life much faster but this isn't the case with the Galaxy S21 ultra. Most users are reporting more than 5 hours of on-screen time. The Galaxy Note 20 ultra is the first Galaxy phone with a variable rows refresh rate which allows the device to adapt and drop the refresh rate to 10Hz depending on the activity you are performing. It seems all very seamless while keeping the battery last longer.
The device has an ultra-wide camera that has dual pixel autofocus, and Samsung has enabled users to shot videos at 60 frames per second. The result is a more dynamic and sharper video that is better than anything you can get with its predecessors. The Galaxy S21 Ultra is priced at $1,199, which is $200 less costly than the S20 ultra. The new phone comes in a sleek design and offers a much faster-processing speed with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 chip. The in-screen fingerprint sensor is now bigger and it should be a bit easier for anyone to unlock this device.
Samsung didn't put the charger or microSD card slot to expand the storage but overall the S21 ultra looks like the most versatile Galaxy phone ever. The phone has a dual telephoto camera lens with 3x and 10x optical zoom that can get you very close to the subject. The S-Pen works in the same way as its predecessor. With a price tag of over $1,000, the S21 ultra isn't a cheap phone but it's a great phone with premium features. Samsung has already started its pre-order starting January 14. The phone will be released on January 29. The phone is available in Phantom Silver and Phantom Black colors but the matte finish looks sophisticated and expensive. Samsung will offer Phantom Navy, Phantom Titanium, and Phantom Brown colors as well.
Samsung has released the European Galaxy S5 LTE-A (SM-G901) firmware hinting at the phone's imminent announcement. The firmware is based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat and is available in the UK and Switzerland. As time passes, Samsung will roll it out to additional European countries as well.
With IFA 2014 in Berlin fast approaching, we suspect Samsung might announce the Galaxy S5 LTE-A for Europe at its press event on September 3. Unless Samsung decides it doesn't want its Galaxy Note 4 to share the spotlight. The European version of the Galaxy S5 LTE-A differs from its South Korean sibling in a few key areas.
The 5" Super AMOLED screen is of 1080p resolution, not QHD. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Samsung's Exynos 5430 chipset with 2GB of RAM. Its South Korean sibling packs a Snapdragon 805 chipset, QHD screen and 3GB of RAM.
S5 LTE-A Firmware Details:
• Model: SM-G901F
• Model name:
• Country: United Kingdom (EE)
• Version: Android 4.4.4
• Changelist: 2413392
• Build date: Mon, 11 Aug 2014 04:43:51 +0000

After too many rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is getting a Google Play Edition very soon. A Photo of the Galaxy S5 Google Play Edition has appeared on the Official Android Website (Android.com). The Photo shows a white Galaxy S5 running Pure Lollipop 5.0 along with photos of the other current GPE devices.
According to some trusted reports we received, Google will release the Galaxy S5 Google Play Edition with Android Lollipop Pre-installed on the device sometimes during November,2014. Looks like the company delayed the release of the device until the Android 5.0 Lollipop final version is official. Of course it will pack the exact same specs as te current Samsung Galaxy S5.
Stay Tuned for More info!
Google will release the final Android 5.0 Lollipop version officially on November,3rd. Samsung is already working on bringing the Lollipop to the Galaxy S5, Check these Screenshots from the latest Lollipop test build. Today, We got some reports suggest that Samsung Galaxy S5 Lollipop OTA Update will start Rolling-out on late December, this year.
That's when the deployment will commence, though as usual it will take a few weeks for all regional versions of the S5 to get the new bits, which means the update will take from December to February to reach all Galaxy S5 variants. Also, TouchWiz UX will get a complete New flat UI with the Lollipop build.

Even Though, Samsung has just released two flagship devices Note5, Galaxy S6 edge+ into the markets just this month, the Korean giant doesn't sleep or slow down. We have reported before that Samsung Mobile R&D (Research & Development) department is working on the Next-year flagship aka Galaxy S7 codename "Project Jungfrau".
First Galaxy 4K Display
The latest confirmed info we have that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will indeed pack a 4K display with a 3840 x 2160 resolution and 800ppi pixel density which will make it the first Samsung device to feature a 4K sAMOLED display.
Samsung Galaxy S7 will come in 2 variants as always Regular and Edge, the device is expected to be announced during the 2nd quarter of next year Q2,2016 along with some other products on the same line-up. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be pre-installed on it upon launch. The important question is... will you buy a smartphone with a 4K display ?
Let's wait and see what Samsung is Preparing for us next year.
It was confirmed during the Mobile World Congress earlier, when Rick Osterloh, SVP of Goggle hardware said "There is an annual rhythm in the industry. So, you can count on us to follow it," This more or less can be paraphrased into, 'yes, we are going to release a newer and better version of the Pixel this year, just like all the other major OEMs.'
Just like you, we were also wondering if he would give us a date or at least a rough timeline regarding the next Pixel's launch. However, it was not to be so, as he had this to say; "You can count on a successor this year, even if you don't hear a date from me now."
While the Pixel did already come with the latest processor, Google Assistant, the latest Nougat OS, a Quad HD AMOLED display (XL) and a fantastic set of cameras, what we would have really appreciated was a bigger battery. Hopefully, the Pixel 2 series of smartphones will offer better battery life, along with all the other upgraded bells and whistles. In spite of it being too early to predict anything, what we can say for sure is that the Google phones will sport the latest version of the Android OS (Android v8.0 possibly), as well as the minimum of a Snapdragon 835 SoC.

Oppo just officially announced the date for the launch of Oppo Find X2. The phone will be launching at Mobile world congress 2020, a few days before the event will start officially. We also learned the Find X2 is going to feature a new Sony-developed camera sensor, which also houses Sony's latest 2x2 on-chip lens solution, enabling high-speed autofocus, high-resolution, high-sensitivity, and high dynamic range. Its predecessor was a great success in terms of sales figures and one of the most beautiful phones you can find in the market. But strangely, the company was silent about launching the Find X2.
Oppo happened to release the Reno series along with the Find X2 that kind of overshadowed the success of Find X. Everyone in the tech industry was thinking that the Oppo Reno series would take over the other lines. We have seen a few iterations of that device since the original phone was launched back in April of last year, and the Find series seemed to get lost somewhere in the background. But according to the Android Authority, a new Find phone is coming and it's already an interesting phone to invest in.
The device is arriving in the first quarter of this year. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, and new flagship Sony sensor. The main focus of the device is its screen quality. At the snapdragon tech summit last week, an oppo representative confirmed that a new snapdragon 865-powered device is coming and now we know that device is Oppo Find X2. This will enable the phone to get access to some of the brand new features like two-gigapixel processing, 25 percent faster performance, and much more.
The new sensors being uses used in the device can use every pixel as a phase detection pixel, meaning it can detect phase differences in both the X and Y directions. Also, it should be much easier for the focus to work on the edge of the frame, as older sensors were only able to use the center portion to calculate focus. The last year's model was one of the phone devices to hide the selfie-camera through a pop-up design, which was appreciated among the consumers.
