WinX DVD Ripper Platinum by Digiarty Software brings the unique feature of copying DVD to Android devices. It perfectly bridges the gap between the last gen DVD technology and next gen portable media storage by enabling DVD ripping, copying and playing on all Android smartphones and tablets.
Why You Need a DVD Copy Software for Android Devices
In case you are wondering why one may need a DVD copy software to begin with, then you are probably unaware of the fact that Android can't decode encrypted DVD content. What it means is that since all original movies, songs, videos etc. on physical discs are encrypted by default, you can't copy any such content from a DVD to Android devices, without first using a DVD copy software like WinX DVD Ripper Platinum to rip the content and make it compatible with the Android OS.
What WinX DVD Ripper Platinum DVD Copy Software Brings to the Plate
Now that we have discussed why we can't load content from DVD to Android devices directly and need a separate DVD ripper software to do get it done, it's time to take a look at the features which makes WinX DVD Ripper Platinum the leading DVD copy software in the market.
Preventing Loss of DVD Content and Quality
Whether it's 720p high definition or a 1080p Full High Definition video content, WinX platinum can help you rip the DVD without any loss ion quality whatsoever. Furthermore,. Once you have your DVD content stored away in soft format on smartphones, tablets, hard drives or even a SD card, it isn't just limited to the physical life of the DVD disc anymore!
Even when you just clone (1:1) the content to an ISO Image file or convert it in MPEG2, MP4, 3GP, MKV, WebM and TS or any other format that you want with the WinX DVD Ripper Platinum, no quality is lost whatsoever. The developers even provide constant updates for new formats, so that users can continue to rip new DVD formats without facing any issues.
Play Your DVD Content on ANY Device
WinX DVD Ripper Platinum can rip and convert any DVD content (Music, movie, workout videos, etc.) into so many formats that TV sets, PCs, Macs, Android smartphones and tablets, iOS devices, USB/Micro-SD/HDD, Xbox gaming consoles, PlayStation Portables and just about every other device which supports audio/video playback will now be able to recoignize and play your DVDs!
How to Use WinX DVD Ripper Platinum?
The steps are pretty intuitive, but here‘s a small step-by-step tutorial to help you get started, post installation.
Step 1 - Either insert the DVD via an optical drive, or load any ISO image or DVD folder.
Step 2 - Run WinX DVD Ripper Platinum and select the DVD/ISO file, after clicking the DVD Disc tab.
Step 3 - Select the DVD Backup Mode/Device Profile from Output Settings.
Step 4 - Select the To MP4/MP3/MPEG/3GP or any of the other long list of formats that you need the DVD to be ripped in.
There is a simpler alternative which lets you choose the manufacturer of your Android smartphone (To Samsung, To Huawei, To Sony, etc.), so that the DVD is automatically ripped in a format that best suits the manufacturer's usual playback capacities.
Step 5 - For those that want to enhance or customize the final content to their liking, WinX Ripper Platinum also allows users to set/change the video/audio codec, output quality, audio volume, frame rate, resolution, subtitles and much more.
Step 6 - Click the Browse button, select the destination folder and click on Run.
That's it for your part, because now you just have to sit back and watch the DVD get ripped according to your desired criterions, at 32X real-time speed, as WinX DVD Ripper Platinum utilizes your PC's CPU and GPU to hardware accelerate the whole process! Most tasks are completed in roughly 5-minutes or less.
WinX DVD Ripper Platinum is Free to Download and Use
You know that you have a confident and reliable developer behind the software, when they allow a trial period, which is exactly what Digiarty Software always has on offer with their releases. Try the WinX DVD Ripper Platinum software out for free first before purchasing it, to know how useful it can actually be. They also have a 30-day money back guarantee, in case you want to try the fully featured package without any risks.
Google Chrome Beta for Android has just been update to v42.0.2311.51 with some critical bug fixes and stability improvements along with some New features added in the "flags" section
One of the New features on Chrome Beta v42 is the "pull to refresh" feature, which is available to (almost) all web pages. It's now easier to refresh any page, just like you do on any App, just pull and release to refresh the page. Besides, If your internet connection (WiFi/3G) got disconnected, Chrome Beta will auto-reload the webpage when it detects that your connection is back online.
The other change we're seeing is in the settings UI, which is more material in v42 on KitKat devices. Finally, there's a new flag in Chrome Beta to scan credit cards to fill forms faster, but it doesn't appear to do anything when enabled right now.
You can get the Chrome Beta v42 on your Android device right now by Downloading the APK below until the update hits the Google Play Store. The APK below is Official and has not been tempered with by any way.

Google Chrome is now the No.1 browser in the Play Store as the most popular web browser in the Android Platform. Chrome has just officially reached more than "1 BILLION" installs on the Play Store.
While induction into this elite group hasn't been quite as impressive since membership hit the double digits, Chrome is among the first of Google's apps that doesn't owe all of its success to pre-installs. The first beta release of Chrome came in early 2012 and only supported Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. At this time, ICS was still new and only a handful of devices were shipping with it. There were still brand new phones launching with Gingerbread.
It wasn't until several months later that Chrome would come pre-installed for the first time on the original Nexus 7 running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Most manufacturers continued to stick exclusively to their own "stock" browsers until 2013, when many of them started to include both two browsers.

Good News for Android users, as Nokia HERE app is now Available for FREE on Google Play. What is HERE ?. Well, it's the famed mapping service that is still under Nokia's wing, which provides its users with completely offline navigation, has a wide array of available maps, up-to-date info for public transportation, as well as turn-by-turn voice guidance all of this free of charge.
Up until now, the app was only available for Samsung devices on one of Samsung's online app repositories. Apart from arriving on Google Play, HERE Beta also adds navigation support for plenty of new countries (Algeria, Angola, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Cyprus, Iraq, Libya, Mauritania, Mauritius, Nepal, Paraguay, Saint Helena, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Suriname, Zambia, Zimbabwe), though these countries have not been fully-mapped just yet.

HTC Scribble is Now Available in the Play Store. HTC Scribble is one of those little add-on features in Sense that doesn't get much press... on account of it not being very useful. Scribble is basically a digital scrapbooking app made to highlight some other features of Sense, like Zoe and some rudimentary stylus support. The app was introduced on the plus-sized HTC One Max, but may be available for other One devices.
HTC bills Scribble as a super-flexible way to do everything from making a digital collage to keeping track of a budget, but aside from a few neat extras like the ability to take a photo inside the app itself, it's probably more unwieldy than dedicated apps. Text, audio recordings, and a variety of stickers can be inserted into a Scribble project, and at least some of the text can be dynamic, including basic column support.

HTC is still publishing it's main OEM system Apps on the Play store for easier updates regardless of firmware versions, operator approval. Today, HTC just published it's Video Player App for HTC Sense. The App is available to a selected HTC devices.
This is the same video player that's built inside HTC's Sense UI layer, with multiple format decoding, gesture controls (two-finger swipes act as FF and RW for example), streaming, still image capturing, and subtitle support. The player also allows a few simple editing tweaks like trimming and playback speed adjustment for slow-motion videos.
You can download the HTC video player version 6.5 APK from the link below, or wait until the update hits your HTC device via Google Play Store.

HTC introduced the fitness and health focused app "Fun Fit" alongside its flagship smartphone One M9. Loaded with several helpful features, the application is now available for free from the Google Play store.
HTC has tailored the Fun Fit with a Sense-like fee, coupled with basic features for health and fitness tracking. For instance, the app will offer data related to steps taken, calories burned, time and distance.
These tracked activities will be shown in the form of fancy charts for better understanding of the data. Users can also feed their measurements and set goals. And of course, Facebook integration allows sharing the data with friends and contacts over the social network.

Today, HTC One M8 Google Play Edition is available in stock on the Google Play Store for devices, The price of M8 GPe phone is $700, which is about $50 more than the Sense version and the unlocked Developer edition.
Anyway, the HTC One (M8) GPe is unlocked and compatible with the GSM networks of AT&T and T-Mobile in the US. It's not currently available outside the US but it will work on most GSM networks around the world.

The beta version of Samsung's latest music application is now available on the Play Store and it's free to download. This will make updating the app easier for Samsung as it no longer has to be part of the Samsung's firmware upgrades. It is an initiative that will make updates for individual Samsung made software more frequent.
If you are wondering what is so special about Samsung Music, you might be disappointed as it is similar to most other music apps on the Play Store, excepting the fact that it is made primarily for Samsung devices and optimized accordingly. The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are the first flagship smartphones from Samsung to come without the default music player pre-installed and this is probably the beginning of a new trend.
If you are interested to download and give Samsung Music a try then make sure that your device is running at least Android Marshmallow 6.0 as anything below that is incompatible with it. The Samsung music player supports popular formats like WMA, MP3, FLAC and AAC among others. It is also capable of sorting your songs in six categories, namely Artist, Track, Album, Composer, Folder and Genre. Anyone who has used a Samsung device before will feel at home and if you have another compatible device that you want to try it on, feel free to download it now.

Samsung has recently released an application on the Play Store named Wi-Fi Transfer. As far as functionality is concerned, the name itself is quite self-explanatory as it allows users to transfer various files via Wi-Fi without utilizing an active internet connection. One of the two devices is used to setup a Wi-Fi tethering connection, while the other one connects to the first device through the temporary Wi-Fi network.
The technology itself can be used to transfer files between any two smartphones running on Android. However, since Wi-Fi Transfer is an app by Samsung, the only handsets that are able to use the application right now are the ones made by Samsung.
The Play Store already has a good number of apps that allow the same facilities and most of them are compatible with the majority of Android devices. We are not sure what the exact purpose of this application was, but Samsung certainly seems to think that it was needed. The list of compatible smartphones even in the roster of Samsung is unfortunately on the lower side and several bugs have been reported. As it is a newly released application, we are sure that things will get better with each update.

If you go and search for it in the Play Store or in the App Store, you will find an app named Galaxy Unpacked 2017. It is available for everyone to download and this is what the description says:
Find out everything you need to know about Samsung Unpack with the Samsung UNPACKED 2017 app.
If you're an invited guest, you can also use the app to gain quick access with your e-ticket.
• Get the latest event information direct to your phone, 24/7
• Quickly confirm your attendance
• Enjoy fast entry and avoid registration queues on the door
Download the Samsung UNPACKED 2017 app now!
However, once you open the app and try to sign up, an error message will pop up, informing you that the registrations will open on Wednesday March 22; which is exactly a week from now. As you have probably guessed by now, the event mentioned is the March 29 Unpacking event which will reveal the Galaxy S8 officially to the world. In the meanwhile, if you want to know all that has been leaked about the S8 and S8+ so far, click here and here.

Samsung Music will no longer be on any of the company's smartphones from now on as they have joined forces with Google to make the Google Play Music app default for all future Samsung smartphones. It cannot exactly be said that this would be a huge loss; given there was nothing very special about Samsung's music player to begin with!
The tie-up has also resulted in all S8, S8+ and Tab S3 owners receiving premium Google Play Music services without any charges, for a period of three months. Additionally, owners of all the three devices will be allowed to upload and stream as many as 100,000 songs from their offline collections. The limit on regular subscribers on the other hand continues to remain at 50,000 songs as always.
All the other expected premium and free features of the Google Play Music app like free radio, mood based intelligent music suggestion, podcasts, streaming, etc. will be available right out of the box, as long as you decide to purchase any one (or multiple) of the aforementioned Samsung devices. YouTube Red will also be a part of the three-month deal for the Samsung users. In case you really did like the Samsung Music Player, it is still available for download from both the Galaxy and the Google Play Store.

We all know that Google is bringing the Play Store on some Chrome OS powered devices very soon, but it hasn't happened yet unfortunately. However, the company did earlier reveal which three devices were eligible initially to get the upgrades necessary for supporting the Play Store and now they have confirmed the whole list. According to the list, at least one Samsung Chromebook is sure to get the stable channel update and that's the Chromebook Plus.
The other five Chromebooks which are also assured to get support for the Play Store are the Acer Chromebook R11 (CB5-132T, C738T), the Asus Chromebook Flip C100PA, the Google Chromebook Pixel (2015). the AOpen Chromebase Mini and the AOpen Chromebox Mini. Although Google has stated that being on the beta channel doesn't guarantee stable Play Store support for these devices in the future, it is worth mentioning that the Acer Chromebook R13 (CB5-312T) and the Asus Chromebook Flip C302 are on the beta channel. Samsung is allowing customers to try out the Galaxy S5 in various stores in select markets. However, in case you can't visit a store that has the S5 on display, Samsung officially launched a Galaxy S5 Experience App that "provides interactive introduction on Galaxy S5 and Wearable Devices." on the play store for any Android device.
Don't expect the app to work as if you're actually playing with a real Galaxy S5. This is merely a walkthrough of the main features that you'll find on the new smartphone, including its camera, the S Health app, the Ultra Power battery saving mode, and so on.
S5 EXP App Features:
- GALAXY S5 Feature Experience mode - Interactive experience modes offered in an intuitive way.
- GALAXY S5 Hands on Video - Video clips of key features (linked to YouTube).
- GALAXY S5 Design Preview - Experience design with different colors and angles.
- Wearable Device(Gear2 and Fit) - Introduction of Gear 2 and Fit main features.
- GALAXY S5 Accessories introduction - Introduction of GALAXY S5's key accessories.
You can download the Official Samsung Galaxy S5 Experience App for free from the Google Play link below.

After too many rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is getting a Google Play Edition very soon. A Photo of the Galaxy S5 Google Play Edition has appeared on the Official Android Website (Android.com). The Photo shows a white Galaxy S5 running Pure Lollipop 5.0 along with photos of the other current GPE devices.
According to some trusted reports we received, Google will release the Galaxy S5 Google Play Edition with Android Lollipop Pre-installed on the device sometimes during November,2014. Looks like the company delayed the release of the device until the Android 5.0 Lollipop final version is official. Of course it will pack the exact same specs as te current Samsung Galaxy S5.

Reading a book on a small screen is not easy. Digital books can scale text according to screen size to ease the problem, but in case of PDF files and comic books which have fixed page size it won't be possible to scale according to screen size without having negative impact on the content.
Google recently announced an update to its Play Books app specifically designed to address this issue. Now Comic book lovers will have better reading experience in their favourite smartphone and tablets.
It focuses on better navigation by implementing a new vertical scrolling feature for comic books in landscape layout. All you need to do is flip the device on its side and scroll through the complete story using vertical swipes. Apart from this Google has also made it easy to search and discover new comics. The redesigned app now organizes series' by the editions, volumes and issues. You will be able to see all the individual issues and synopsis simply by tapping on a series. According to a senior product manager from Google, there would be personalized recommendations for new comics and series to the users.
On this occasion, for a limited period of time Google is offering some digital issues for free. In total they are giving away 44 comics including some of the all-time favourites like Batman and Spawn. According to Google, every Thursday there will be additional deals. Click on the link given below to grab the freebies:

Google published a New App AdWords Express on the Play Store, a simplified version of AdWords that makes advertising simple to set up and track without having to dedicate much effort. Tthis app can help you manage your AdWords Express account from your phone as simple as possible.
AdWords Express isn't a particularly complicated service and the app reflects that with a simple interface. Account managers will be able to create and modify ads, adjust spending, receive alerts, and check the performance of their ads.

For Google Fans, April Fools' Day jokes is the best, the company has been releasing features, functions, and videos to bring a smile to users faces. Google has been doing this since 2000, and 2014 is no different as they try to one-up 2013. This year its the Pokemon Master Challenge for Google Maps. Google made a statement :
You can see Google Maps Pokemon challenge in action on the video below. Happy April Fools' Day!

The Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ and the Tab S3 have High Dynamic Range or HDR capabilities, but due to lack of quality content, that has not been put into full effect so far. That's about to change though as Google's own Play Movies & TV will now support HDR on these devices. The extremely bright QHD+ Super AMOLED displays are perfect for watching HDR content on them so it's definitely good news if you own any of the devices.
The only thing is that the HDR content is only available in the US and Canada at the moment but it should soon be making its way into India and the UK as well. Rest assured that wherever you are in the world, you will most definitely be getting the same treatment sooner or later, provided that Google Play Movies & TV are available in your location of course. There are a few catches though and they are as follows.
1. The 4K HDR content in the library is only limited to a few movies like Batman Vs. Superman and The Amazing Spiderman 2 at the moment.
2. There's only one Android smartphone/tablet out there with 4K resolution and HDR support; the Sony Xperia XZ Premium
3. You will be spending a lot of data by streaming 4K content and a superfast internet connection with excellent download speeds is necessary to do that.

Irrespective of what the state government in any state of the United States might decide, it is now official that Google has taken a strong stance against weed in the Play Store as well.
You can check out the official statement in the store itself, but it can be summarized with the bottom-line that from now on, the Play Store won't support any applications that has anything to do with the weed business at all, irrespective of the business's legal/illegal status in the state of question.
It is disappointing and surprising to see Google taking the same stance as Apple and Facebook already did, especially when the industry has started to grow so profoundly.
Personally, I think it might just have something to do with the strained relationship that Canada now shares with the US. Similar to how Huawei has been shunned by Google due to the new policies implemented by the Trump administration, this could very well be a result of the political pressure on Google to affect the cannabis industry's uninhibited growth in Canada. Then again, it's just a hunch and I could be completely wrong.

Google is taking a different approach this year for the Android N Developer Preview. They have been releasing updates earlier than expected. For example the new Quick Replies from the notifications area was pushed to Hangouts very soon, the new set of attractive Unicode 9.0 emoji was released even before the official announcement and now the Google Camera app (v3.2) has been rolled out to the Google Play Store.
The new Google Camera comes with all the updates mobile enthusiasts have already read. It has the ability to take pictures during video recording (kudos to the exclusive camera button right above the record button in video mode), latest slow-motion mode (if your smartphone can support it - 120 fps in case of Nexus 5X and maximum 240 fps for the Nexus 6P) in the nav drawer along with more icons and buttons. Worthy to note that all the Nexus devices won't have all the features.
Recording in HDR Mode will most probably give the experience of increased speed as available in the N preview 2. Earlier there used to be a very long processing period for the HDR shooting. Now, it has become much better, although not very smooth. Right now, there is no action pending from your end. All you need to do is wait for your turn to get the update in stacked release schedule. Although you can download and install .apk, it is highly recommended that you should take care of security issue and make sure that the file is from a trustworthy source.

As promised at the Google I/O earlier, a new Beta section has arrived in the Google Play menu for beta testers. If you are testing beta software on your Android device, you should now be able to find them under My apps & games > Beta in the Play Store.
The best part about the section is that it will let you opt out of the beta testing as well, if you so choose. Conversely, the user will also be able to sign up for new beta testing options from the same menu. In order to see this section on your smartphone, the required Google Play version is 6.7.13 as per reports.
Although this isn't something that will interest the average user, tech-enthusiasts should find the new feature pretty useful. We like the option of being able to experience new features for our favorite apps before others, but beta testing can cause performance issues on your smartphone. If you are facing such problems from any of the beta apps, you can now opt out of the program with ease. Provided that your Play Store is up to date and you still cannot see the options, you will possibly need to wait a while before the update arrives for your smartphone.

Surveys indicate that about 1.3% of all devices running Android are still running Gingerbread on them and if you are one of those users, it's REALLY time to upgrade. Google has officially declared that all support for Android 2.3.x devices will be discontinued from 2017, as soon as they launch the next version of the Play Services (v10.2).
What this means is that your device will neither be able to load any of the Google Play service applications, nor will it get any updates to the existing apps on it. The minimum OS requirement for availing the Google apps and services will shift to Android 4.0.1 Ice Cream Sandwich, post the launch of Play Services version 10.2 next year.
According to Google, "Version 10.0.0 of the Google Play services client libraries, as well as the Firebase client libraries for Android, will be the last version of these libraries that support Android API level 9 (Android 2.3, Gingerbread). The next scheduled release of these libraries, version 10.2.0, will increase the minimum supported API level from 9 to 14 (Android 4.0.1, Ice Cream Sandwich). This change will happen in early 2017."
"The Gingerbread platform is almost six years old. Many Android developers have already discontinued support for Gingerbread in their apps. This helps them build better apps that make use of the newer capabilities of the Android platform. For us, the situation is the same. By making this change, we will be able to provide a more robust collection of tools for Android developers with greater speed."
I would suggest that you upgrade to a very minimum of Android Lollipop 5.1.1 or preferably Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 when you do, because Ice Cream Sandwich is sure to be cut out soon as well.

One of the first things that Google announced at its big event today is that Android just keeps on growing. Google CEO Sundar Pichai said on stage that at the moment, there are more than 1.4 billion active Android devices in the world. "Active" in this context means that they've been used within the last 30 days.
This number is up 40%, from 1 billion, back in June of 2014. Keep in mind that this doesn't represent the total number of Android devices that were ever sold, it's just those that are still active, or have been so in the last month.
The Google Play Store is now being used on more than 1 billion devices. Again, this means 1 billion phones and tablets have used Google's content store in the last 30 days. So it appears that the Play Store either isn't installed or simply isn't used on a staggering 400 million devices out there.

As it turns out, the Play Store isn't as safe as you may think and eZanga claims there are literally hundreds of malicious apps on the Play Store which may harm your phones to varying degrees depending on the particular app and how you sue it. The worst part is that these apps are hard to detect as they do not fit the traditional description of an Android malware. Their malicious activities range from draining the battery and your monthly data plan to collecting information about you and making advertisers pay more than they should by making use of fraudulent accounts. Perhaps the biggest threat which these apps hold is the fact that they can in the future, start selling information that they are now collecting from users unethically.
As eZanga has already plans of informing Google officially in details about the growing problem, hopefully Google will be able to sort this mess out. In the meanwhile, you can stay safe by simply making sure that you do not download any poorly rated app from a shady developer. Also, installing a trusted antimalware software may not be a bad idea. To read more about it, check the original news at Android Authority.

Google has just officially released Google Play Music App version 6.0 for Android. The new version packs a free ad-supported Radio service which is available for all United States users only.
The update also brings performance improvements in app's animation which results in a more smoother UI Animations, along with various bug fixes and stability improvements. No major changes in the Play Music App functionality or User Interface in this release.
The update is rolling-out on the play store but if you don't want to wait, You can Download official Google Play Music 6.0.20 APK from the link below.

Google is currently rolling-out the first Google Play Services 8.3 update for all Android devices worldwide. We still don't have the full change-log for this update yet but it should be posted very soon on the official Google Android developers blogspot.
So far, Google Play Services 8.3 brings more Android Auto desktop new features support and the Android Auto companion app from the play store. Also this release brings support for Android 6.0 Marshmallow final release and the New Google icon design too.
If you don't want to wait for the update to hit your device, you can download the Official Google Play Services 8.3 APK below. Make sure to follow the instructions below to get the version required for your device.
*WARNING*: We've seen reports of constant crashes with these. Proceed at your own risk.
To figure out the right version of Google Play services for your Android device, go to Settings -> Apps -> Google Play services, and look at the last 3 numbers in the parentheses. You'll see something like -XYZ where:
* X defines Android version:
0 for Android <5.0
2 for Android 5.0 and 5.1 starting with Play Services v8
4 for Android 5.0 and 5.1 before Play Services v8, Android >= 6.0 after
7 for Android 5.0
8 for Android TV
* Y defines CPU architecture:
1 for armeabi
3 for armeabi-v7a
4 for arm64-v8a
7 for x86
* Z defines DPI:
0 for universal
2 for 160
4 for 240
6 for 320
8 for 480
Notes:
It seems that -7YZ builds became -4YZ with Google Play services v6.5. If you were on -7YZ before, you should now install -4YZ.
It seems that -4YZ builds got split into -2YZ for Lollipop and -4YZ for Marshmallow with Google Play services v8. If you were on -4YZ before, you should now install -2YZ in Lollipop and -4YZ in Marshmallow.
Looks like -8YZ builds are for Android TV.

Google has finally updated it's Play Newsstand App with Materiel Design UI, to be ready for the Android L launch this month. The Newsstand essentially combining Magazines and Google Currents in one app. The widgets has been updated too.
Newsstand is now using Material Design, which incorporates "larger images, more contextual headers, and smoother transitions" into the overall feel of the app. Users are also able to swipe horizontally between topics, as well as vertically to get more info on a particular topic.
Also new with this update is a better way to read magazines on phones. The experience has generally been fine on tablets , but definitely needed some work on the smaller screen. As of now, phones will get the option to pick and choose between articles, which will display in a much easier to read format more like that of the current News section of the app. Improved topic cards are now front and center, making it even easier to find content relevant to your interests.

Google has just pushed a new update to the Google Play Services App to version 6.1.71 which brings some minor enhancements. The first think you'll notice is the New Material Icon for the Grey "Google Settings" App on your App drawer.
The Update also packs some UI tweaks that brings the Android L Material-style check-boxes.
Note that his APK behaves oddly on the L preview. The colors are dark, resources mismatched, and the overflow button causes a force close. It seems Google is holding back some updates (like the Play Store) from the L preview, likely due to API conflicts. If you are using Android L Preview, Download at your own risk!

Angry Birds games have a long history. The original was a huge hit, but each successive attempt felt less interesting. Today, Rovio has just released the Angry birds Transformers game on the Play Store for FREE. The game is unexpectedly very entertaining.
In this title, the birds and pigs have been transformed into Autobots and Decepticons, respectively. In each level your chosen Transformer runs through the level while you tap on objects in the background for him or her to blast. The goal is to take out all the pigs by knocking over the towers, just like in traditional Angry Birds, but you've only got a limited time to peck away at the supports with lasers as you run past.
The transforming aspect comes into play when you need to speed up to avoid being smashed by something. Download the game now from the Google Play store link below.

It's been almost one year since Google unveiled the new Play Newsstand App for Android, which incorporated features from both Play Magazines and Google Currents under one roof. To celebrate, Google is released a big update to the app to version 3.0, which brings it an entirely new design.
Today, Newsstand App got updated to version 3.3.1 with even more Material Design UI and bug fixes, all ready for the Lollipop launch tomorrow.
There is more to the new version, however. It also comes with a new magazine reading experience, without the need to constantly zoom in and out to read articles. That's how things worked in the past, but not anymore. The new Play Newsstand app will now show you a list of articles from the magazine that you can toggle through and read easily on your phone. Big images are included.
Smoother transitions come part of the Material Design inspired makeover, and the headers are more contextual. You swipe left and right between topics, and up and down to dive into a particular topic. And deeper topic cards have been added to the Explore section. The app should have received a speed boost too.

HTC has published yet another of its built-in apps on the Google Play Store. This time we're talking about HTC Camera, which joins many other apps, including the Sense 6 lock screen, the Sense BlinkFeed launcher, as well as HTC Weather.
HTC Camera is the built-in camera app for recent smartphones made by the Taiwanese company, and it features the Eye experience for select devices.
As with all the other apps which HTC has published on the Play Store in the past, you can't install this if you don't have a compatible handset made by HTC.
The point of these moves isn't to make HTC's built-in apps for Android available for other devices, but to ensure it can update them in a timely fashion when needed. This way, you'll get new versions of HTC Camera, for example, without having to wait for the next software update for your phone.

Google Play services 6.5 is now Rolling-out. This release of Google Play services Adds New features to Fit, Maps, Drive, And Wallet Apps. Also, when the SDK lands, it will finally answer the single most common complaint from developers that the GMS library is just too damn big (4-5 MB).
Maps will receive the lion's share of new features with Play services v6.5 update. To begin with, applications making use of maps will now include two convenient buttons in the lower-right corner that will instantly take the user to the Google Maps app for directions and turn-by-turn navigation to the currently selected address. Developers are free to disable these buttons if they prefer to offer a more customized interface. Another handy addition will come in the form of a new "lite mode" map which is designed to be smaller and less interactive.
These simplified maps are intended to be used more like thumbnails, allowing several to comfortably fit on a screen at once. To round things off, developers are finally gaining the ability to send users directly into the Google Maps application and immediately initiate a search, turn by turn navigation, or Street View.

Another minor update to the Google's official Music App. Google Play Music 5.7.1780Q update is Rolling-out, and it includes a banner on the Leanback Launcher for those who owns a Google Nexus Player. The update also adds access to a list of recently played tracks and recommendations, just like you would have on a phone, tablet, or the web.
The only other immediately noticeable addition is a menu option for Settings, but it just provides a link to the open source licenses Google has to disclose. Hopefully it will gain a little more value in the future. While this update does bring the Android TV experience a little closer to that of its Android brethren, there are a few missing features. Most notably, there's no way to manage a playlist, and the artist page still doesn't show a background description.
The update is rolling-out on the play store but if you don't want to wait, You can Download official google Play Music 5.7 APK from the link below.

Nokia has just announced its first lollipop tablet, Nokia N1, with its own UI on top called the Nokia Z Launcher. Well, lucky enough, the Nokia Z Launcher is now Available on the Play Store starting from today.
The Launcher learns from your usage and picks up contextual cues (e.g. whether it's morning or evening), but the feature that sets it apart is scribbling.
Instead of having to hunt down the right shortcut though an alphabetized list, you just your finger to write the first letter and the Z Launcher will display matching apps sorted by how much you use each one of them.
The Z Launcher on the Lollipop-running Nokia N1 tablet is an exclusive version, but a generic version can be had from the Play Store for a small taste of the experience engineered by Nokia.
