All other hypes and rumors were crushed when Oppomart listed the OnePlus 3 on their website with a price tag of $369. The product was marked as "out of stock," but it gave away almost everything about the phone with official pictures and detailed specs! You will find the "published" specifications of the OnePlus 3 below.

Display: 5.5" 1080p

Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 CPU and Adreno 530 GPU

RAM: 4GB/6GB (DDR4)

In-built storage: 32GB/64GB/128GB UFS 2.0

16-megapixel rear camera (Sony IMX298) with optical image stabilization

8-megapixel front camera

Fingerprint scanner in the Home button

Support for 4G LTE-FDD and multimode modem

Battery: 3,650mAh with Quick Charging

OS: Oxygen OS built on Android 6.0 Marshmallow

If this turns out to be true (which is very likely), then OnePlus is all set to deliver another stellar product to its customers. However, we think that the $369 price tag is meant for the entry level variant of the OnePlus 3, so if you want the beastly version with 6GB of RAM, you might have to shell out more. Do you like what you see? What do you think the beefiest variant of the OnePlus 3 would be priced at?

Oneplus black concept

At CES 2020 OnePlus unveiled its latest concept smartphone - called the Concept One. Although the design is beautiful, in a recent interview with the company's industrial design team revealed a more stunning early prototype of the device. In such pictures showcasing the design, you don't see the front side because usually there isn't much difference there. What we do see is that same leather back on the Concept One we recently got into our hands. The device is available in black and orange color, whereas this one is completely black, featuring a subtle carbon fiber design around the camera sensors.

According to the team lead in the interview, the company might do some experiments with the design to create more environmentally-friendly alternatives in the future that achieve a similar look and feel to the concept one.
"We believe leather is a material that achieves the premium build quality we strive for, providing a soft touch, while also create a thinner hand feel when compared to glass," said Tao. "In the future, if we intend to apply similar back design, we will look into alternative materials that can achieve the same look and feel with leather, while being more environmentally friendly and easier to keep clean in the long run."

OnePlus has done a few new design experiments with concept one. The biggest surprise perhaps is the use of electrochromic glass. This technology can turn the glass opaque and you will find this technology in fancy hotels and airplanes. This would hide the cameras in the phone OnePlus has encased three camera lens in a slot between two big pieces of orange leather. This phone looks good as you won't see any camera lens in the view. The device takes just 0.7 seconds to switch from opaque to transparent which is the fastest in the industry. As per the company, this type of technology won't be affecting the quality of the photos being taken.

OnePlus has officially come up with the upcoming smartphone in the budget category. The phone costs less than $500 and called Nord. It won't just another smartphone in the market as it will comprise a range of devices that mark the affordability. The phone is getting released to the UK, European, and Indian markets. The Nord phone is going to be the first phone of a new series line that will make the premium OnePlus experience accessible for more users. The device was initially rumored to be called as OnePlus 8 lite and OnePlus Z, but the company decided to settle for OnePlus Nord.

The company is focusing on ‘never-settle' spirit and creating some of the best product lines for its consumers, but it is also about challenging ourselves and going beyond our comfort zone, said OnePlus founder and CEO Pete Lau. He further added, "We are immensely proud of our flagship products and will continue to create more tech-leading flagships for our users. Now we are excited to share the OnePlus experience with even more users around the world through this new product line. OnePlus also confirmed, via its Instagram channel, that 100 units of its new smartphone will be available to order at 9 am BST (4 am EDT, 1 am PDT) on July 1.

OnePlus launched its affordable handset back in 2015 and since then it hasn't introduced any budget-friendly phone. So, far there isn't much information on the device. A few leaks are about its camera and processing chips. According to the rumors, the OnePlus Nord is designed to feature a dual-facing camera system that includes a 32MP lens for the primary camera and an 8MP depth-sensor camera lens in a punch-hole cutout in the corner of the display. The other leaks suggest a device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset, 6GB of Ram, and a 6.65-inch display screen with three cameras at the rear side. A limited batch of 100 pre-orders are set to open on July 1, so we should have a better idea of the final price by then.

The Revenant

Director Alejandro G. Iñárritu's Academy Award-winning film Birdman is a dark comedy set almost entirely in one theater and shot to look like a single take. Iñárritu's follow-up film is pretty much the polar opposite of that, although it's Oscar ambition seems equally apparent.

The Revenant

The Revenant, "inspired by true events," stars Leonardo DiCaprio as Hugh Glass, a 19th century frontiersman who was mauled by a bear and left for dead by his expedition group (which includes Tom Hardy). The trailer is heavy on tension, ambience, beards, drums, and heavy breathing.

The HTC 10 was recently announced by Verizon and they were the first carrier in the US to do so. However, Sprint has just joined in the action with more details about the phone and a clear release date. The Sprint version of the HTC 10 will be available from May 13 on contract and at zero down payment. There will only be a monthly charge of $26 for two years (24 months) as per the contract. Sprint also added that the highly acclaimed smartphone will be using their LTE Plus network for superfast internet speeds. Verizon will still be the first carrier in America to start selling the HTC 10 via pre-orders accepted only through their online store.

The HTC 10 was received very well around the world by techies and the excellent reviews have created quite a bit of demand for the handset in USA as well. If you are not particularly familiar with HTC's flagship smartphone for 2016, you might find them to be quite impressive. Chamfered edges and a metal body hide the powerhouse Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC within, while the front hosts a 5.2" Super LCD 5 display (1440p) at 565 ppi. There is also 4GB of RAM onboard which seems to have become a standard for all flagship devices this year. HTC has significantly slimmed down HTC Sense 8.0 this year and as a result, the experience feels almost the same as stock Android 6.0.1, albeit with a few added features. There are also the famous front-firing HTC BoomSound speakers and a built-in fingerprint scanner inside the Home button.

Fortunately, most Android smartphone manufacturers went back to the drawing board and gave their smartphones an expandable memory card slot. This holds true for the HTC 10 as well, so you can now increase your phone's storage by an additional 200GB. You will of course get an internal memory of 32-GB to begin with. The 12-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus, optical image stabilization, f/1.8 aperture and dual-tone LED flash was highlighted by HTC as one of the best features of the smartphone. Not to be outdone, the selfie cam is a 5-megapixel ½.3" sensor with 1.55µm pixel size. The 3,000 mAh battery supports Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 and once fully charged, is reported to provide the user with 27 hours of talk time, along with a standby time of 456 hours.

Did the impressive specs of the HTC 10 get you excited? Do the positive reviews make you want this phone even more? Or will you give this one a pass? Let us know what you think.

At the back, the 20.7MP camera is confirmed and it will sport dual LED flash. For now, there's no information whether it'll record 4K video, but we will be surprised if it doesn't.

At the front, it will be backed by a 4MP UltraPixel camera, probably the same as the One (M8)'s. Contrary to previous rumors, the latest leak doesn't suggest a dual 20.7MP camera configuration at the back.

An HTC One M9 online retail listing shows that the flagship device will be available before the end of this month. The retail giant B&H listed the smartphone with March 25 launch date and $649 price tag. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S6 which will launch on April,1st.

The launch date and the price tag were quickly removed from the listing by the retailer, so we might indeed have seen the actual launch date of HTC One M9. B&H has a stellar track record as a retailer, so there is little reason to doubt its listing.

We can now show you actual pictures of the Galaxy S7 Edge Blue Coral variant and it isn't even a leak. Samsung has officially released pictures of the upcoming new color variant and it looks quite beautiful. They have obviously taken a cue from the Note 7's Blue Coral variant here, as the color was quite well received. If you like what you see, you will be able to buy one starting November.

The S7 Edge Blue Coral is priced at NT$24,900 in Taiwan, which is approximately $790; the same price as all the other color variants. The handset will see its release on November 5 in Singapore and should make its way to the rest of the world soon afterwards. Given that every other competitor will have a new phone in the market for the holiday season, only time will tell if just an additional color option will be enough to convince customers in favor of choosing Samsung over newer hardware from other manufacturers. The LG V20, the Moto Z and the Google Pixel XL are thought to be its greatest competitors, but there are other less popular brands out there too, who will take a shot at stealing Samsung's market share due to the void that the Note 7's untimely death has created.

Just recently, we were presented with a vivid render/blueprint of the upcoming Note 6 (or Note 7) and it showed us a lot of details about the next Note. However, it had silenced the rumor about the Note 6 featuring a curved Edge display as it showed no such design elements. If you are like us, then you would have preferred the Edge variant and we do have good news for you then. Another leak has surfaced just recently and it shows that the Note 6 WILL sport a Dual Edge display.

Considering that this render was leaked by @ShaiMizrachi, who has provided us with pretty accurate leaks till now, we are quite confident that this could be the real deal. The smartphone shown here is 7.8mm thick, 153mm long and 74.5mm wide. Well, apart from the volume rockers at the left and the power button on the right, that is about all the information that we can decipher from them. If this news got you excited, you will be more excited to know that another rumor has pitched the final unveiling date for the mysterious Samsung Galaxy Note on August 2.

As expected, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active will only be offered by AT&T, as it was with the Galaxy S6 Active in 2015. A new leak has unveiled this information to us along with more. The S7 Active will weigh in at a heavier 185g with a measurement of 9.9mm in thickness. Other changes include a much larger 4,000 mAh battery and of course, the tougher build we have come to associate with Samsung's Active series.

The differences more or less end there as this is virtually the same phone, albeit with a few enhancements. You will find the same SD 820 SoC, 5.1-inch 1440p AMOLED panel, 4GB RAM and identical front and back cameras with Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 running it all like a boss.
If you are wondering how come we are almost sure about the release date then the answer is simply, rumors. Rumors throughout the last year or so have been dead on and since all leaks regarding the S7 Active point towards a June 10 release date, we are putting our chips on that date. As far as we know, the S7 Active won't be available anywhere else other than the US, at least not for the moment.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice Edition has just been revealed, along with an official unboxing video of the device by Samsung. We knew it was coming since they had already released a few teasers prior to the unveiling.

As made obvious by the name, the limited edition S7 Edge is a tribute to the game, Injustice: Gods Among Us. Samsung partnered up with Warner Bros in bringing the superhero themed smartphone to the market on the third anniversary of the game. Although the game and the comics originally were based on multiple characters within the DC universe, the smartphone is primarily themed on Batman. There's a gold bat-sign on top of the box, as well as the back. Within the package, you will find a gold-plated batarang, a case cover that resembles the armor of Batman in the game and Samsung's own GearVR.

In the words of Younghee Lee, the Executive VP of Global Marketing, Samsung Mobiles, "We are excited to partner with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and offer a special edition of Galaxy S7 edge for fans of Injustice: Gods Among Us."

As expected, you will find the game pre-installed on the device, along with an Injustice theme. As of now, it has been announced only for Russia, China, Korea, Latin America, and Singapore. It will be released in the first half of June, but prices are not known yet.

After the C5, it was time for the C7 to reveal its specs and we like what we see. It is going to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC, 4GB of RAM, a 5.7-inch FHD display and a 3,300 mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The Galaxy C7 will come in two storage options, 32GB and 64GB; both are expandable via micro-SD thankfully. The rear camera will have a 16-megapixel sensor, while the selfie cam will sport an 8-megapixel one. It will run on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box as expected.

The handset will weigh in at 165g and measure in at 156.6 × 77.2 × 6.7mm. The Home button will act as a fingerprint scanner as well. The Galaxy C7 will be available in Rose Gold, Gold, Gray and Silver color options. NFC will be supported, along with Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS and 4G LTE. We even have the price for you here; $395/RMB 2,599 for 32GB of internal storage and $425/RMB 2,799 for 64GB of internal storage.

We are really interested to see how the new Snapdragon 625 performs inside the C7. It houses an octa-core CPU (Cortex-A53) clocked at 2.0GHz and an Adreno 506 GPU.

Unlike most of the leaks and rumors that we usually get to know about, this one was accidentally leaked by one of Samsung's own applications. Samsung Level is an app that is available for download on the Google Play Store and the Galaxy S7 Active is clearly mentioned as one of the supported devices in the description section. Now that the discovery has been made, the question is what else could the S7 Active bring to the table that the S7 does not already have?

Anyone who is familiar with Samsung's Active line of smartphones knows that they are usually waterproof, dustproof and overall tougher versions of the current flagship handsets from Samsung. This is a trend that was made popular with the Galaxy S4 Active and it has since been continued. What has spiked our interest in the matter is that the S7 is already quite resistant to liquids and dust to begin with and has more or less been endowed with most of the features that one would expect from the South Korean giant's Active line-up.

If we were to assume that this was not a mistake and the S7 Active is actually coming, then we will probably see a larger battery and both the capacitive navigation buttons would most likely be replaced with physical buttons. Other changes might include a more robust casing and greater water and dust resistance rating that's even higher than that of the S7. We will keep you posted as more facts come under the limelight.

The Samsung Galaxy Wide will be exclusively available on the South Korean carrier SK Telecom in under a month and from the look of things it will be exclusive to South Korea as well. This is official news as Samsung just revealed the details; along with the device itself in its home country yesterday.

The SM-G600S aka the Samsung Galaxy Wide seems suspiciously similar to the Galaxy On7 handset from 2015 and even the model number is almost the same (On7 has the model number G600FY). After looking at the internal hardware, one might be tempted to believe that this is actually the Galaxy On7 from last year that the Korean OEM is rebranding and launching in South Korea, after a few tweaks and improvements for SK Telecom.

Display: 5.5" TFT

SoC: Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (1.2GHz)

RAM: 2GB

Internal storage: 16GB

Front/rear camera: 5mp/13mp

Battery: 3,000mAh

Android version: Marshmallow

Considering the outdated specifications of the smartphone, the 319,000 ($276) Korean Won price tag seems overpriced. The only interesting aspect of the Galaxy Wide is the fact that it will sport a T-DMB chip for accessing digital terrestrial broadcasting signals within South Korea.

If you are not a tech-enthusiast, then the chances are that you are probably confused by all that's available in the market and the choices are indeed plenty. This list will help you find the most powerful processors on offer. On the other hand, even if you are a tech-enthusiast, you would appreciate this list as AnTuTu has finally revealed the chipsets that are on the top of the food chain. Keep in mind that most of the processors that are used in mobile phones today were put through the benchmark multiple times before the conclusions were drawn.

As expected, the latest Snapdragon 820 chip from Qualcomm leads the pack with a whopping score of 136383. The Apple A9 chip lags behind ever so slightly at the second position with 132657. The Exynos 8890 chipset powering the international variants of the Samsung Galaxy S7 is in the third position by an even narrower margin with a score of 129865. After that, the difference between the chipsets become much more obvious as the Kirin 950 scored 92746, followed by the older Exynos 7420, which scored 86652. Last year's troubled but powerful flagship processor, the SD 810 still holds its own at the 6th position over the newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset. The Apple A8 is in the 8th position with 79100, but the difference between the A8 and the SD 650, which is at number 9 with 78979, is negligible. The Snapdragon 808 from Qualcomm just makes the cut at the last position with a respectable 68508.

As you can see from the list, Qualcomm is absolutely dominating the smartphone market with its mobile CPUs and have even managed to dethrone the mighty Apple A9 chip from its number one position. We will just have to wait and see if Apple can come up with something even better when they release the iPhone 7 later this year.

Samsung upgraded its "A" series for the releases in 2016 and now they going for the economical "J" series. Right now the Galaxy J1 (2016) is available in the market, to be specific - in Dubai. We are also expecting that J5 (2016) and J7 (2016) will be released.

These new devices look quite promising, thanks to some kernel sources, unraveled by one a mobile enthusiast. The code was identified in the kernel sources of the Galaxy A9 and apparent name of a device, codenamed as "j7xlte".

This code also reveals many of the smartphone's features and specifications. The Galaxy J7 (2016) will feature a FullHD display, most likely a 5.5-inch one, going by previous GFXBench leak. Super AMOLED is nothing out of ordinary for this device , but it also quite easy to figure more details from the model number - ss_dsi_panel_S6E3FA3_AMS549JR01_FHD.

The new J7 will run on a Snapdragon 650 SoC (earlier named as the SD 618). Consumers can expect 3GB RAM, a 13MP the primary camera equipped with the Samsung S5K3L2XX sensor. The front snapper is supposedly a 5MP unit backed by Samsung S5K5E3YX sensor, 1.1µm pixels, coupled with a 23mm f/2.2 lens.

Note that there are signs of a fingerprint reader on the Galaxy J7 (2016), which is a significant boost to the device. Buyers can also expect a microSD card slot and a 4,300 mAh battery.

Samsung has officially unveiled its next generation of chips at their Device Solutions America Headquarters and they are based on both 14nm, as well as 10nm processes. Now we know where all that investment into their semiconductor business went to. Additionally, they also unveiled their new generation of 7nm Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography (EUV) wafer that will allow for precise patterning on chips, without needing to opt for more than just a single pattern.

The 14LPU process will improve over the current gen 14nm chips by providing them with a boost in performance without exceeding the allotted power quota. Processors enabled by these new 14nm chips will be able to provide high performance for long stretches at a time. The 10LPU process on the other hand, will make the next gen chips smaller than its predecessors; the 10LPE and 10LLP chips. The boost in performance is not highlighted as significant, but they will be cheaper to manufacture and will provide better power efficiency when used inside the new processors. Will the new tech be introduced with the Snapdragon 830 (rumored to be produced by Samsung)? Or will we see them exclusively in the new generation of the Exynos processors? We will find out soon.

samsung wide

Samsung took the wraps off a 34" ultra-wide curved monitor. Sporting the model number SE790C, the Korean giant's latest creation will make an appearance in its massive exhibition booth during CES 2015

Samsung SE790C "ultra-wide quad high definition."The monitor's resolution is 3,440 x 1,440 pixels, which result in 21:9 aspect ratio. The manufacturer boasts that the device offers the best-in-class static contrast ratio of 3,000:1.

The curved design of the monitor follows the natural curve of the human's eye. The end result is distortion-free experience with superb viewing angles and less eye strain. The curvature also creates a 3D-like effect that makes the monitor seem bigger than a flat display with the same size.

Samsung has equipped the newcomer with additional features such as Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture. The latter allows users to view content from two connected devices simultaneously.

Samsung 1.0 ISOCELL

Samsung Korea unveiled the industry's first 16MP image sensor for mobile devices with 1.0μm pixels size for smartphones, packing the Model No.S5K3P3 and it entered mass production already.

Thanks to its smaller pixels, Samsung has reduced the height of the ISOCELL sensor by 20% in comparison to the currently old utilized 16MP solutions with 1.12μm pixels. With z-height below 5mm, the newcomer will allow hardware designers to create devices with minimal camera protrusion.

Samsung S5K3P3 is already made available to device manufacturers. We won't be surprised if the sensor gets featured in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) just went through Geekbench, revealing most specifications to us in the process. The good news is that it will be running on Android Nougat v7.0, straight out of the box. The device in question has the model number SM-J727P and is possibly a prototype of the upcoming J7 (2017). As you can see from the screenshot, it managed to score 889 and 4200 on the single-score and multi-core tests respectively. While this isn't groundbreaking, it's not bad either for a mid-range device.

As per as the specs are concerned, check the list below to find what was revealed.

Model number: SM-J727P
5.5-inch 1080p display
Unknown Qualcomm processor clocked at 2.21GHz with Adreno GPU
2GB of RAM
13-mp rear camera and 5-mp front camera
3,000mAh battery
16GB of internal storage with expandable micro-SD card slot
Android version: Nougat v7.0
Carrier: Verizon (rumored)

We are a bit disappointed to see that it will feature only 2GB of RAM, especially when 3GB has become pretty much the standard. Also, a 32GB internal storage would have been much appreciated.

When it comes to the Galaxy S series from Samsung, things have never been so confusing, especially regarding its possible launch date. The rumors this year had suggested every possible date, right from the end of February at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, to multiple dates near mid-April. However, recent rumors from popular sources such as Evan Blass (@evleaks) are now suggesting that the S8 will be launched in an exclusive Samsung event on March 29. The S8 and the S8 Plus will go on sale around mid-April from there onwards.

We also have a render for you to look at today, which is claimed to be the official press render of the regular Galaxy S8 by SlashLeaks. Yesterday, we gave you a glimpse of the first live photo of what could very well be the actual Galaxy S8 and if you have not yet checked it out, take a look now as it seems to be the most authentic picture of the S8 we have seen yet. The images have only begun to come in, but the specs have been out for quite a while now. Although they are totally subject to errors, click here to see what we know about the internals of the Samsung Galaxy S8, courtesy of leaks and rumors.

Although previous rumors have been indicating that the Note 8 would have the codename "Baikal," a latest rumor apparently negates that name in favour of "Great." The news comes via the courtesy of SamMobile, although they have not revealed their sources. We must admit, codename "Great" sounds a bit too cheesy! Nevertheless, that's exactly what the latest rumor is predicting at this moment. Additionally, the model number of the upcoming "Great" Note was also confirmed to be SM-N950F, which is in consistence with what Evan Blass had leaked back in November 2016.

In other news, SamMobile also reports that against all odds, Samsung will indeed be re-launching the Galaxy Note 7 in South Korea, with a safe battery. The commercial name for the refurbished Note 7 will be "Grace R," where R stands for refurbished. The devices will most likely not make their way outside the home country and we are not sure if that's good news or bad news! Grace R will allegedly feature the model number SM-N935 and make use of some of the hardware left over from the defunct Note 7. Will you be buying a refurbished Note 7 if it was available near you?

To put it as plainly as possible, it seems like the Note 7 incident has hindered the S8 this year in more ways than anyone would have liked. As was made evident by research, the Note 7 was catching fire because of a faulty battery. The problem arose from the fact that the housing of the battery was too cramped. As it turns out, Samsung is putting a battery inside the Galaxy S8 which is disappointingly smaller than our earlier expectations. We think the two facts have a very simple connection!

The leak by SlashGear shows us the batteries which will allegedly power the S8 and the S8+. The 3,000 mAh and 3,500mAh batteries shown here confirms what the leaks had been saying for a while now. In case you didn't figure it out yet, the 3,000mAh battery will be powering the S8 and the 3,500mAh battery will be powering the S8+. Additionally, it reveals that the batteries are being assembled in Vietnam by Samsung SDI, although the cell itself is made in South Korea. What do you think? Will a 3,000 mAh and 3,500 mAh battery be enough for the S8 series, given that they will be running the extremely power-efficient Snapdragon 835 and Exynos 8895?

The Galaxy S8 and S8+ feature the same camera sensor from last year with moderate software enhancements. Rumors had predicted other great things though and it seems like Samsung wasn't particularly keen on keeping the same sensor on the smartphones either. A new leak by a Vietnamese source on Facebook actually reveals an image of the S8+ prototype which clearly sports a dual camera setup. As to why the idea was scrapped, we have a few theories.

Earlier, we had reported that the uncomfortably placed fingerprint scanner on the back of the S8 and S8+ was the result of a supply failure by Synaptics, more than anything else. As Samsung had designed the Galaxy S8 smartphones with the idea that they will sport below-the-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanners, their plans were obviously disrupted by the supply failure. Samsung couldn't just get rid of the fingerprint scanner altogether, so they decided to make room for it just beside the camera, by sticking to the old single camera setup. Samsung just can't catch a break nowadays as disasters keep happening to them; one after the other.

In accordance with their earlier announcement that they are going to present an industry-first stretchable OLED panel at the SID 2017, Samsung has just unveiled a 9.1-inch stretchable AMOLED panel that's built on LTPS (Low Temperature PolySilicon) technology. In addition to being stretchable, the display was fully capable of supporting multitouch as expected. Samsung is already the market leader in AMOLED panel manufacturing and this latest piece of tech further cements the Korean company's name on the top of the list.

The documents accompanying the display states a lot of details about the panel, but the highlight is the ability of the display to be stretched both in concave and convex designs. This leads us to the most important question of them all; what will Samsung be using it for? Will we be seeing a tablet sporting that remarkable panel anytime soon? Well, the answers to those questions remain a mystery for now because nothing of the sort was revealed by Samsung. Nevertheless, it will probably be a while before Samsung brings the technology to consumers. Then again, maybe we will see something revolutionary from the tech giant sooner than anybody thinks.

We have a real treat for you today as all major specs regarding the Galaxy A7 (2018) has been revealed, along with a Geekbench score that shows off the Samsung Exynos 7885's processing power as well. Check out the screenshot above and the small spec sheet below to know more.

Revealed Specs

Model Number: SM-A730F

Display: 1080p Infinity Display (Super AMOLED)

SoC: Exynos 7885/Snapdragon 660

6GB of RAM

Android Nougat 7.1.1 Nougat /Android 8.0 Oreo

Geekbench Score

1486 - Single-core

4145 - Multi-core

Although the designs seen previously does indicate that the A7 (2017) will sport an Infinity display as seen only on the Galaxy S8, S8+ and the Note 8 so far, we are not sure whether or not it's something that you can bank on. After all, the Infinity display on all these devices has so far been curved and the chances of Samsung introducing curved displays to even their mid-rangers are somewhat unlikely. Even if they do decide to go with a flat, borderless display, that would be something totally new and we have not yet heard of any such production plans! Nevertheless, the A7 (2018) should be a decently powerful handset in the mid-range segment, especially given that it will carry the new chip and 6 gigs of RAM.

The Galaxy A8 might have skipped two years but there is no doubt about the fact that it is going to make a comeback in 2018 or (very) late 2017. We had seen enough rumors and leaks around the net to know that the A8+ (2018) was happening, but today we also have a list of confirmed specs for you. It should be mentioned that the list and the pictures were brought to attention by SamMobile first and it does look pretty legit.

As per the report, the A8+ (2018) will come in three RAM/ROM variants; 4GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB and 6GB/64GB. All versions will share the 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display, Exynos 7885 SoC, Bluetooth 5.0, 3,500 mAh battery with fast charging, 16-mp single rear camera and 16 MP + 8 MP dual front cameras. I guess it's no secret that Samsung is aiming this one towards the selfie lovers. Unfortunately, Android 8.0 Oreo won't be running on the device out of the box, but a software upgrade from Nougat 7.1.1 will most definitely be on the cards. Will you be buying the A8+ (2018) if it starts selling near you?

It looks as if just like the Galaxy S8 and S8+, the S9 and S9+ will also be launched in silver and grey colors. Take a look at the latest renders leaked by case maker Poetic to understand what we are talking about here. The pictures are obviously concept images mostly, but they are probably quite accurate, given that case makers usually have access to the exact dimensions and dummy units to work with before a big smartphone line-up is released. The reason is obvious; people look to buy cases the second these smartphone become available for purchase, so the case makers would need to have access to inside information a long time before the actual release.

What does this say about the color options which Samsung will offer its upcoming flagship smartphones in? Not much other than the fact that silver and grey are most likely going to be the first colors alongside black to make it onto the market. As always, you can expect other colors such as the much anticipated purple and blue to also be available later in 2018, but Samsung could also be releasing those colors to select regions only.

The rear camera and the fingerprint scanner which will be accompanying the Galaxy S9 has been revealed online a few hours ago, confirming the rumor that the Galaxy S9 will indeed be sporting just one camera at its unworthy back... The dual cameras will be reserved for the more premium Galaxy S9+. Now the question is, can you really blame anyone anymore when they blame Samsung for following in the footsteps of Apple? One would think that they would do the consumers a favor and endow both the devices with similar specs like every year, but that is not going to happen anymore it seems.

The Fingerprint scanner doesn't reveal much except the fact which we all knew anyway; Samsun has not yet been able to perfect their under-the-display fingerprint scanner. Let's just hope that like all the rumors suggest, Samsung at least decides to put the fingerprint scanner at a better location than they did last year with the Galaxy S8, S8+ and the Note 8.

We are hardly more than a day away from the launch of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ at the Mobile World Congress 2018 on February 25, so it's about time we got a leak that informed us how much it would cost to pocket one of these! As per the leak, the Galaxy S9 will cost roughly 841 euros (1034 USD approx.) and the S9+ will expectedly be much more expensive at 997 euros (1225 USD approx.). If these leaks are to be believed then the S9 and S9+ will be quite a bit more expensive than the S8 (799 euros) and S8+ (899 euros), but that's to be expected.

It is almost strange that we live in a time when smartphones have become more expensive than full-fledged computers and while modern smartphones are amazing, it almost leads one to question, how much is too much? Nevertheless, the increasing costs doesn't seem to be affecting sales in any way for Samsung or Apple, so there's that!

While most manufacturers do have a codename for almost all their important devices, not every one of those codenames make it onto the final consumer product. The Galaxy S10 seems to have the codename Beyond, but it's probably only for the internal staff and not exactly a marketing term that we will see printed on the box. In case you are not aware, the Galaxy S9 has the codename Star and the Galaxy S8 was dubbed Dream.

So, does the name Beyond signify anything? It could, given that the Galaxy S10 is going to be Samsung's tenth anniversary S-series phone and they will likely hate to be outdone by Apple. The 3D camera which is rumored to be featured in the S10 could be a game changer, along with the in-display fingerprint scanner. We will just have to wait and see if Sasmung is truly able to go "beyond" their current gen flagships with the Galaxy S10.

A few interesting details about the upcoming Galaxy S10 and the Note 9 has recently been revealed and although there's no way to be 100% sure whether these are rumors or facts, they are quite exciting nonetheless.

Bigger Battery

The Galaxy S and Note line-ups are not exactly famous for their battery life and that fact was painfully obvious with the Galaxy Note 8 last year which sported just a 3,300mAh battery, in spite of sporting a huge display. That is probably going to change this year though as a report from famous leakster Ice Universe suggests that the Note 9 might sport a 4,000mAh battery and we really hope that this one's true. Accommodating the bigger battery would be possible because Samsung will apparently shift its camera positions to make room for it.

No More Earphones

One of the biggest issues with removing the bezels of a smartphone completely is the fact that you have to make room for the earphone up top. Of course, the notch is the new iPhone-led path to follow for smartphones, as made evident by almost every Android smartphone manufacturer adopting the technology this year. However, Samsung could be looking to solve this problem in a different way by removing the earphone altogether! Apparently, the Galaxy S10 will let the user hear the person on the other side via the display itself, through bone conduction technology. Whether this will work better than it did on the Xiaomi Mi Mix or not, remains to be seen.

galaxy-S10-price

There's hardly a month or so in between now and the Galaxy S10's unveiling at the MWC 2019 in Barcelona next month and surprisingly enough, we have actually not seen enough Galaxy S10 leaks, like we had seen in 2017 and 2018, during the respective launching of the S8 and S9 series. However, thanks to a report brought to light by SamMobile, we now have some information regarding how the S10 series will be priced. Not that is anything concrete or absolute at the moment, but this is what we have at the moment!

·        Galaxy S10 Lite (E): 779 euro/$879

·        Galaxy S10 (6GB/128GB): 929 euro/$1,050

·        Galaxy S10 (8GB/512GB): 1179 euro/$1,340

·        Galaxy S10+ (6GB/128GB): 1049 euro/$1,200

·        Galaxy S10+ (8GB/512GB): 1299 euro/$1480

·        Galaxy S10 X:  1599 euro/$1,799

As you can see, it's going to be an expensive buy this year, if you want any of Samsung's S10 series of smartphones, and even more so if you want the rumored Galaxy 10 X. The pricing details and the multiple models almost makes me wish that Samsung kept things simpler like they used to. After all, it makes little sense spending $879 on a smartphone that will always be considered as a "budget" smartphone in the premium category!

It is almost impossible to keep a smartphone secret before its official unveiling date these days and as it turns out, the new Pixel phones from Google are no exceptions either. Multiple retailers have leaked all details about the Google Pixel smartphones, ahead of its unveiling tomorrow. For example, Carphone Warehouse is a British retailer which had put up listings for the two phones for a very short time, before removing it. Whether it was an intentional marketing strategy or just a mistake, we are not really sure! Nevertheless, here is what the listings confirm for us about the Pixel and Pixel XL. Do check the pictures also for some more insight into Google's plans for tomorrow.

Although the listing did mention external storage capacities, the consensus is that it was a mistake unfortunately.

The Pixel phones were the highlights of the Google press event earlier, but the two smartphones were not the only things unveiled by the company there. The Chromecast Ultra has been announced at the event, which will be able to stream 4K content with ease. Consider this as an upgraded and beefed up version of the popular Chromecast 2. Along with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10, supported apps include YouTube, Vudu and Netflix for starters. It should also be able to playback Google Play Movies by November.

According to Google, users will experience a general increase in speed compared to the Chromecast 2 (1.8 times to be exact) in any stream. If you do not have a Wi-Fi connection that is fast enough to stream video content at 4K resolution, the Chromecast Ultra can also directly take in an Ethernet cable, thanks to an Ethernet port on the accompanying power adapter. As with the previous versions, Android mirroring on your TV will be supported and so will Google Home. It will go on sale in November with a price tag of $69 in the US.

pixel 4

Google has heavily leaked information about its next smartphone - Pixel 4. Although Google couldn't make it to the position of the top seller of the smartphone, it still owns the significant appreciation of the consumers who like to buy a phone based on the camera specification. Google smartphone also features some custom specs that you won't see on other devices like a bespoke launcher or custom image processor. The pixel 4 is set to repeat this trend with, among the usual software tweaks there is hand gesture control in the phone.

Google itself leaked the rear camera of the device a few months ago, ahead of its launch confirming the leaks around its design. Since then it has also revealed a detail about its hardware specification embedded beneath its relatively think top bezel and it has appeared in the wild in both photos and videos. According to the leaks, it has relatively think top bezel which is something lots of smartphone manufacturers are moving away from.

The render of the device was surfed by the reliably connected Evan Blass. The render also confirms that there is no fingerprint sensor on the rear side. This may increase the possibility of having facial recognition technology for security. However, there is also a possibility of having an in-display fingerprint sensor. This is something we can't assume from the design leaks. While this phone isn't the most attractive in the market but it is certainly better than its predecessor Pixel 3XL. Other leaks suggest that it has a 90Hz display and anticipated still camera.

The upcoming Huawei P9 is one of the most anticipated Android phones and rumors indicate that Huawei might release it this very week at the CES 2016 in Las Vegas. Pan Jiutang is the popular Chinese analyst who fuelled our imaginations even further by stating that the P9 may sport 6GB of RAM. We have seen the likes of the Galaxy Note 5 and the ASUS Zenfone 2 in 2015 who came in the industry with 4GB of RAM first, and may be the P9 will be the first smartphone to sport 6GB RAM. If we are lucky, we will find out for sure in just a few days.

In October, 2015, we came to know about a label that was made for the Huawei P9 and it indicated the possibility of dual camera sensors on the back of the phone. Jiutang builds on that piece of info and concludes that the phone will actually sport two 13 megapixel back cameras. He further hints that a complex algorithm will support the dual lenses in capturing and rendering images of supreme quality.

Other speculations about the P9 revolves around a 1080p Full HD 5.2 inch display and Huawei's own extremely powerful HiSilicon Kirin 950 processor coupled with the next-gen Mali T880 MP4 GPU. If all of the speculations made by Pan Jiutang turn out to be true, then the Huawei P9 will certainly take its place among the world's most powerful smartphones.

A few weeks ago, Google released a developer's edition of the upcoming Android N and it was only available for download on select Nexus devices. However, much is still in ambiguity because the company is yet to announce an official release date, version number and the actual name of the OS. However, leaks have played an ever-increasing role in the last few years due to their surprisingly high accuracy rate. This time however, the leak did not come from a journalist or an inside man, but it is the Korean electronics giant, Samsung who has revealed it accidentally (we presume that it was an accident).

The information can be found in the release notes of Samsung's MultiWindow SDK, where it clearly states that, "This version has been released with Android N (7.0) compatibility." This confirms that Android N is going to be labelled version 7.0 and all we need now is the name of the OS. There have been rumors about the N standing for an Indian sweet/dessert, but we will need to wait a while longer before making a statement. Hopefully, more information regarding Android N will be officially revealed at the Google I/O conference in May. Which dessert do you think will be used by Google to identify their upcoming Android OS?

Meizu MX4

Meizu announced that it will officially reveal its upcoming device, the Meizu MX4 on September,2nd. so the first couple of weeks of next month are due to be very, very crowded in terms of new device launches.

The MX4 will run Flyme OS 4.0, the latest incarnation of Meizu's interpretation of Android. The phone has been rumored to come in at least two different versions, a 'base model' and a higher-end version.

The latter should sport a 5.4" or 5.5" touchscreen with 2560x1536 resolution, and a 20.7 MP rear camera (supposedly the exact same unit that Sony uses on its Xperia Z2). 3GB of RAM will be in at least one MX4 model, as well as Samsung's octa-core Exynos 5433 SoC. The normal MX4 retail price will be about $400 - €300.

oppo camera

The front camera posed a huge problem whenever smartphone manufacturers aimed to create a full-display smartphone. Apple gave a notch to the industry. Samsung came up with four types of infinity display but Oppo has surpassed all of these with an under-screen camera. The company made an unbelievable promise and delivered it. The hidden lens technology debut alongside a new mesh talk calling system. The front camera is there, in front of us, hidden under the display, allows you to take a selfie. There is no notch, no pop-up, or some fudge to mask the camera hole.

Oppo teased the in-display camera in early June and then promise a closer look soon. Oppo and other Chinese manufacturers have introduced other way of hiding front-camera like cut-out notice, punch-hold or pop-out cameras. There was some concern about pop-up camera reliability though, as it depends on the mechanical functionality of the device. You might wonder why no one has thought about it before Oppo. Actually, the technology to achieve this isn't easy. The display isn't a simple one in fact. It is made of a special enhanced translucent panel material which is specially customized for the camera. Then there are processing algorithms which do things like haze removal, HDR, and white balance tweaks.

The result is a completely new technology for front-facing cameras. It is capable of taking selfies just like any other smartphone. Now when we have a close look at the design, we know that it looks stunning but we don't' know about the final quality of the picture taken by this device. The fact that you are trying to take a snap from behind a display can cause a loss of quality. There could be some noise or loss of resolution of the display where the front facing display is place near the phone.

UHS-I C3

Today at CES 2015, Kingston introduced microSD and SD cards under the UHS-I Speed Class 3 boasting some 90MB/s read and 80MB/s write speeds. This is great news for those who want to play and record 4K video without stuttering. These speeds exceeds the standard Class 10 SD cards 9x times for the read speeds and 8x times for the write speeds.

By Kingston estimates, users can capture up to 60 minutes of 4K HD video or shoot photos in RAW or up to 8,000 24 MP images in JPEG on a 64GB card. The new card is available in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB flavors, but pricing is yet to be announced.

CIA

Another secret program where the US government compiled and stored mountains of call data was revealed in a filing related to a case alleging a man was attempting to illegally export electronic equipment to Iran.

In the filing, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), stated that it used "administrative subpoenas" to gather meta-data of US-based calls to foreign countries that were determined to have a demonstrated nexus to international drug trafficking and related criminal activities.

As to which foreign countries were on the list was not revealed, but the DEA did grant that Iran was one of those nations. The filing outlines outgoing call activity, but the program also gathered data of incoming calls to the US from foreign exchanges.

The data collection for this program began in the 1990s and was shut down in August 2013, with the DEA saying that it no longer collects bulk records and that the database has since been deleted.

Naturally, civil liberties and privacy advocates are not pleased with the revelation of this news. Patrick Toomey of the ACLU says this activity proves "the government has extended its use of bulk collection far beyond" terrorism and national security investigations.

The DEA embarked on this program following what could be argued as unintended consequences from a laws passed by Congress to empower the agency in the so-called "war on drugs." However, it is being argued that the DEA has pushed the envelope away from what was intended to be "specific, targeted requests for information" and instead turned things into a dragnet of data collection.

SD 820

At MWC 2015, Qualcomm just officially announced the Snapdragon 820 Soc (System-on-chip). The chipset will be built on a FinFET manufacturing process, but Qualcomm didn't specify if this means TSMC's 16nm or Samsung's 14nm tech will be used the SD 820.

The star of the Snapdragon 820 chip, which debuts Qualcomm's Zeroth platform. It promises to be a cognitive computing platform, which means that it can anticipate users needs and actions in advance. One real-life application of the platform as demoed on stage is a camera recognizing the subject of the photo.

SD 820

Inside the chip Qualcomm's custom ARMv8 CPU core also makes a first appearance. Dubbed Kryo, it sports 64-bit architecture, but at this point there aren't any more details regarding it.

Qualcomm says it will start sampling the Snapdragon 820 in the second half of 2015. This leaves us to anticipate the first devices rocking the chip early 2016. Expect more information about the Snapdragon 820 as it becomes available.

iphone 6

Tim Cook took the stage at the start of today's event and almost immediately announced the new iPhone 6. The Apple iPhone 6 is based on iPod touch looks and has a 4.7" screen. Apple Also announced the iPhone 6 Plus and Apple Watch too.

The iPhone 6 screen is protected by "Ion-strengthened glass", which is curved around the edges for a more seamless experience when swiping. The screen itself is an LCD with "Retina HD," which translates to 750 x 1,334 pixels. This pushes the pixel density to 348ppi. Despite the new resolution, apps will "just work" thanks to a desktop-class scaler. This will only be needed until devs update their apps to support the new resolution.

iPhone 6 prices

The 8MP iSight camera is back for a fourth year in a row. Apple claims the sensor is slightly larger now - it has a 1.5µ pixels, features phase detection autofocus and sits behind an f/2.2 aperture. There's no OIS though, it relies on digital stabilization. The camera can shoot panoramas up to 43MP. The iPhone 6 prices are listed above.

iphone 6 plus

As for the iPhone 6 Plus. It's built around a 5.5" IPS LCD display with an Retina HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels 1080p). The pixel density is 401 ppi and iOS 8 has been tweaked to take full advantage of the larger display.
The back of the iPhone 6 Plus is made of anodized aluminum and the stainless steel frame of the phone ensures its rigidity.

The user interface has been optimized to take advantage of the larger screen and offers split-screen mode in several apps like earlier leaks suggested.

iphone 6 plus prices

The new 64-bit A8 chip that powers the Apple iPhone 6 Plus is built using the 20nm manufacturing process. Thanks to this it's more power efficient, while still offering 25% more CPU power and 50% GPU boost. The iPhone 6 Plus Prices are listed above.

Apple Watch

The Apple Watch comes with a square screen and comes in 38mm and 42mm cases. There will be an 18 karat gold version, a more affordable stainless steel and aluminum versions will be available too. The steel version will be called Watch Sport, the gold one will be Watch Edition. All will have changeable wristbands, ceramic backs and sapphire screens. Six different bands will be available at launch.

Apple Watch

The screen will not be always-on, it activates when you lift your wrist. The Glances feature lets you can swipe through pages of information on the touchscreen. The touch-screen is force-sensitive and you can add custom gestures.

Apple Watch

Alternatively, you can use the digital crown to interact with the watch, including zooming in on the maps application. Siri will of course work with the Apple Watch. The watch won't have you typing in answers, it will recognize questions from incoming messages and offer appropriate responses. Or you could use Siri for voice dictation.

The watch can monitor your heart rate but relies on the iPhone for GPS positioning. Apple didn't announce the Apple Watch Price but it's Coming Early 2015 (Q1,2015).

The foldable display on the Huawei Mate X measures 8-inches and on closing, the display stays on the outside, unlike with the Galaxy Fold. If you thought the Galaxy Fold was expensive, wait till you get a load of the Mate X's $2,600 price tag! Powered by the extremely capable Hisilicon Kirin 980 and 5G capabilities, the exact date has not been set for the Mate X's release yet, although it was unveiled at the MWC 2019.

Xiaomi Mix Flex

xiaomi-mi-flex

Revealed only by a teaser, the Xiaomi Mi Flex has gained a lot of attention recently. The prototype has been shown on camera by President of Xiaomi Lin Bin already, so it's only a matter of time before the device becomes official. What makes the Mix Flex Unique is that unlike most of the devices that we have seen so far officially or via rumors and leaks, the prototype was shown as a tablet that could be bended on both sides to leave enough room only for a smartphone display. The double folding smartphone can also be called Xiaomi Dual Flex when it finally comes out, as stated by the Lin Bin himself.

Do note that the rumored LG Bendi, the Moto Razr 2019 and the Oppo Foldable Phone were kept out of this list intentionally, as they have not yet been confirmed by their respective manufacturers. Which one do you find most impressive? More importantly, can you justify the price tags that Samsung and Huawei are putting on these devices? Let us know in the comments.

The LG V20 is indeed coming and it is coming on September 6, when the successor to the LG V10 will be unveiled at an event in San Francisco. This is official news and not a leak as LG Mobiles confirmed these facts on their own just recently. Additionally, we now have some high quality renders, leaked by @OnLeaks that shows us the LG V20 in vivid details.

Apart from the most obviously striking dual camera bump at the back of the V20, we can also see that they may have done away with the dual front camera setup at the front, as is found on the V10. There's also the secondary display on top of the main display and the volume buttons have been shifted to the left of the smartphone. The power button on its back will also act as the fingerprint sensor and the modular, removable bottom seen in the G5 is going to be there in the V20 as well. Keep in mind that there is a bit of controversy regarding whether the modular bottom will really be there or not in the V20, but if this render is accurate, then the module release button at the right does confirm it.

Two of the biggest Android flagships of 2016 are going to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2016 on February 21 and rumors regarding the two have reached an all time high now. As you probably know already, we are talking about the Samsung Galaxy S7 series and the LG G5. After being treated to a host of leaked Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge pictures on the web, we have finally been shown what the LG G5 will look like.

This is the most revealing leak yet as we can clearly see both the back and the front of the LG flagship, which removes any doubt regarding its design elements at least. As seen in the picture, there is indeed a dual camera setup on the back, complete with a dual tone flash and possibly even laser autofocus. A circular fingerprint scanner can be seen right below the rear cameras with volume buttons on the side. If we were to make a guess, we would say that this time around, the fingerprint scanner will function as the power button as well.

The body of the G5 is probably made up of metal, but it is hard to tell until we get a closer look at it. The internal specs of the G5 cannot exactly be seen in this picture, but after months of speculations, leaks and rumors we have a pretty good idea about them. Expect the LG G5 to be powered by a SD 820 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM and a powerful battery. The 5.6" 1440p display will sport Android M 6.0 out of the box and will possibly be updated to the latest firmware soon after.

sony

Sony invented a new line of microSD cards that can produce better sound if they are made from the right materials and tuned just right to minimize electric noise coming from the card while it's working.

It theory a poorly designed component could interfere with the electric system of a phone or MP3 player and mess up the accuracy of its amps. Though in reality the label is an audiophile placebo that will cost around $155 when it comes out in Japan on March,5th.

sony

Either way, unless you paid twice as much for your headphones than you would for this card and you listen exclusively to FLAC, you don't need the Premium Sound microSD card. And even if you do, you probably still don't need one.

Sony Xperia Z4

Sony skipped the MWC 2015 and didn't announce any new device, many of its fans are getting impatient to see the Xperia Z4. So far, all we got is rumors and nothing is confirmed. The Japanese tech giant is definitely taking its time with it's 2015 flagship.

Today brings a new leak, which allegedly reveals the sony Xperia Z4 dimensions 146.3 x 71.9 x 7.2mm, which is almost identical to the Xperia Z3, which measures 146 x 72 x 7.3 mm. Its display should be 5.2-inches, so the body doesn't really need to be bigger.

The Xperia Z4 rumored to pack a Snapdragon 810 chipset and Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, along with 3GB of RAM and an Adreno 430 GPU. It has been suggested that Sony will launch the Xperia Z4 in both 1080p and QHD versions.

Galaxy Note 4 Edge

For the first time ever, Samsung releases two Notes at the same event, and for the first time EVER Samsung releases an Official smartphone product with a Flexible AMOLED Display, Introducing the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Edge. The name isn't random, the right edge of the screen folds to cover the side of the device and enable unique interactions, Samsung finally used its YOUM Flexible panels on a flagship device.

Note 4 Edge

The Galaxy Note 4 Edge is based on the Galaxy Note 4 internally, but it's the screen that makes all the difference. The folded side adds an extra 160 pixels so the resolution grows to 1,600 x 2,560 (the highest Res. on a Smartphone device ever) but it also makes the Galaxy Note Edge a bit wider than its straight-screened sibling. Samsung has added enough smarts to the curved side that accidental touches to it are not a problem.

Note 4 Edge

With the phone locked, the curved side can display the Quick Glance info (time and notifications). When you wake the screen, the side displays notifications for various features, including timer and flashlight shortcuts and even a ruler (which works surprisingly well on the curved side).

With the phone finally unlocked, the number of options grows threefold. You can keep shortcuts on the side for easy access or use the curved side for at-a-glance info. Or you can use it to enhance multitasking by switching between several screens (e.g. virtual desktops). Event switching between the pages of the homescreen or the app drawer is also handled by the curved side.

Note 4 Edge

Individual apps can put the curved side to use too, usually to keep the main screen free from clutter. Both the camera and the video player put their controls on the side so the screen is left to the viewfinder/video. Samsung will release an API to enable third-party devs to utilize the potential of the curved side as well.

As you can imagine, the Samsung Galaxy 4 Note Edge experience revolves mostly around the curved side of the screen. Beyond that it's a Galaxy Note 4 with Snapdragon 805 or Exynos 5433 chipset, Android 4.4, 16MP OIS camera and S Pen stylus. The Note Edge has a slightly smaller battery (3,000mAh vs. 3,220mAh) and the USB port moves back to version 2.0.

Samsung Note 4

It's finally Here! The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is Now Official, It's the first Note not to grow the screen size, which remains at 5.7", but it now has nearly 80% more pixels thanks to its new QHQ AMOLED resolution pushing the pixel density from 386ppi to 515ppi. It's a Super AMOLED, of course, but it's covered by 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3. For those who don't remember the Nokia N9, 2.5D glass has curved sides to make swiping from the edge smoother, and edge gestures are everywhere in Android now.

Note 4

The Galaxy Note 4 will bring a redesigned S Pen stylus that offers better grip. The accompanying software (S Note, Multi-window) has also been enhanced. A new Snap Note app will turn photos of printed documents into editable text.

Note 4

The phablet will be available in two versions - one with Snapdragon 805 chipset and LTE Cat. 6 connectivity and one with Exynos 5433 chipset and LTE Cat. 4 connectivity. The phablet will run Android 4.4 KitKat at launch with all the new TouchWiz features Samsung has come up since the Galaxy S5 launch.

Note 4

The camera department has been upgraded and the main camera now features a 16MP sensor with optical image stabilization. The front-facing camera has a 3.7MP sensor (matching the pixel count of the screen) and a fast f/1.9 aperture. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features three microphones for noise suppression that is so advanced that a special app can silence selected sources of noise from an audio recording.

The phablet has a metal frame like the Galaxy Alpha and a faux leather back, which will come in Frosted white, Charcoal black, Bronze Gold and Blossom Pink. There's no water resistance though. There's a 3,220mAh battery powering the phablet and you can add the optional Qi wireless charging panel if you like.

moto g10

Motorola announced Moto G9 Play a few months ago and now the company is ready to release a follow-up device. The renders of the expected upcoming phone are going to arrive as the Moto G10 Play shows that company is changing the front design despite the phone being a successor of G9 play while leaving the rear's design as it is.

The renders are shared by a reputable leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer from OnLeaks. He uploaded the renders along with some details on Voice. He specifically mentioned that he didn't confirm the official name of the device but its model number is XT-2117, so we take the phone being Moto G10 play as an assumption.

The device has a punch hole at the top-left corner of the display, unlike the Moto G9 play that has a water drop notch. The screen is a flat 6.5-inch display panel with moderate bezels around it. There is a squircle camera design on the rear side of the phone that is centered and features three camera sensors and an LED flash sitting below the setup is the Motorola logo.

The company has placed the fingerprint scanner on the rear side of the phone. Motorola has decided to move the scanner to the side on this new device where it is imposed under a recessed power button. There is a button above the power button to control the volume functionality, a USB-C port, and a power grille at the bottom with an audio jack at the top. The phone has been certified by the FCC and a TÜV Rheinland certification says that it is powered by a 4850mAh battery. According to various reports, the phone should arrive in a few weeks. If it is indeed the Moto G10 play, we have a successor of G9 in just two months.
